Lil Shop of Horrors Dentist scene with Steve Martin & Bill Murray. Hilarious!

Steve Martin too RTI always group Robin Williams with Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Billy Chrystal... They were all hot
umm Clueless, Mean Girls, Breakfast Club, The Princess Bride... How is not one Bill Murray or Steve Martin movie on here?!
In the late 70's Bill Murray and Steve Martin went on stage to kill a couple of extra minutes and, off the top of their heads, came up with this. Both of the characters they're doing here would later become Navin Johnson in The Jerk and Carl Spackler in Caddyshack. Old SNL is still the best SNL.
Chevy has disappeared badly. Could've went down the Bill Murray route but ended up more Steve Martin.
National Hamburger Day sounds dumb, but Steve Martin makes it all better. via Now, where's Bill Murray...

That article is confirmation that I don't want to live in a world where people like Bill Murray and Steve Martin aren't around anymore.
I like Jimmy Fallon, but I hoped 4 Steve Martin or Bill Murray(not that they would've accepted). I think they could make very innovative TV.
I'd say Bill Murray is the first, Chevy Chase the second, and then Steve Martin.
he fell out with people on Community, didn't he? Need to get Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Steve Martin and Chevy in a film together
My dad introduced me to comedy also, he brought home a lot of Steve Martin and Bill Murray films when I was young.
I think The Monuments Men missed a trick by not having Steve Martin play Bill Murray's dentist.
Five things I've learned this week: 1. William Pulteney, the 1st Earl of Bath is credited with being the shortest serving Prime Minister in British history. He resigned after two days after failing to secure the agreement of all but one person to serve in his Cabinet 2. The UK has the world's second largest reserve of tungsten, much of which is in Devon 3. Burt Reynolds, Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Al Pacino, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Nick Nolte and Kurt Russell all auditioned for the role of Han Solo. Sigourney Weaver, Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Kathleen Turner and Kim Basinger all tried out for the part of Princess Leia 4. The winner of the men's Giro d'Italia receives €90,000. The winner of the women's Giro d'Italia receives €450 5. The plastic end of a shoelace is called an aglet.
Construction in the workplace. Sounds like a sadistic dentist office. Except no Steve Martin and I'm not Bill Murray.
Okay. a hmmm.. 1.) Buffy The Vampire Slayer - I just loved this show 2.) Angel TV show - spin off with Angel in t and later Spike. woot 3.) American Horror Story years 1 and 3. (2 was just okay) 4.) Supernatural - two hot brothers. lol 5.) Cheers - loved this bar and its kooky people that went there 6.) Seinfeld - a show about nothing that lasted 9 years, and was actually funny? woot 7.) Monty Python Flying Circus - sucked in and still love every lil skit by them 8.) Father Ted - I'm not religious at all, and this show just flat out made me laugh and laugh 9.) How can I decide between South Park and Family Guy and Archer? (I loved the first 7 or 8 seasons of The Simpsons, but it stopped being AS funny as it was.) 10.) Finally, Saturday Night Live. But with comments. First 4 years (with John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Steve Martin, etc..). Anything with Eddie Murphy, the Adam Sandler - Chris Farley years, anything with Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, and ...
SNL has created some of the biggest celebrities in Pop culture. Lorne Michaels is more than a genius. I'll watch any movie with Clint Eastwood or Anthony Hopkins in it. I'll consider any Steve Martin, Kevin Costner or Bill Murray movie too.
The ultimate dinner would be attended by Betty White, Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks, Carol Burnett, William H. Cosby, Jr. (Bill Cosby), John Cleese, Eric Idle, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Robin Williams, John Goodman, and Kermit the Frog (58). It would be hosted by Jon Stewart. There would be portraits of George Carlin and Lucille Ball on the wall. Stephen Fry would be the wine sommelier. Steve Carrell, Jim Carrey, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Conan O'Brien would serve the meal. Aziz Ansari and Jonah Hill would park cars. Woody Allen sends his regrets. Did I forget anyone?
Hey, hi, do you see this? This is three, count 'em, THREE fantastic hosts to end out the year. Paul Rudd is an excellent improviser and comedian (see: Anchorman). He'll do great, but he will probably be like Bruce Willis, where he's funny, but he's also the star of the show. He's also one of the Kissing Vogelchecks (which probably won't return because Fred, Kristen, and Bill all have left). John Goodman (hosting for the first time since 2001) will maintain his third place spot for most times hosting (after Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin). No doubt he'll integrate himself into the cast, despite his age. I'm probably more excited about his episode than any other that I've reviewed. Jimmy Fallon will obviously do a great job on his second time hosting the Christmas episode. He probably returns to the Update desk, hopefully joined by Amy (Tina already stopped by at the beginning of the season). I'd also be partial to other past hosts returning (Jane Curtin, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Dennis Miller, Norm MacDona ...
I got the number 10, darn-it. 1. I was born in Philadelphia, but never lived there. 2. I never took the driving portion of my driving test, only the written (thank goodness). 3. I blink in 2's. 4. I was diagnosed with ADD my senior year of high school. 5. I failed 4th grade because I missed too many days of school. 6. My favorite thing to do in grade school was to write stories and include my classmates in them. 7. I can't wear short socks with jeans...feels weird. 8. I love George Carlin, Jerry Seinfeld, Howard Stern, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Adam Sandler. And John Candy and Chris Farley. 9. Pro choice, pro same sex marriage, anti hate. 10. I saw the space shuttle Challenger disintegrate over the Florida coast live in person. You can like, I won't give you a number ;)
***100 Great Films of the 1980's*** Little Shop Of Horrors (1986, Frank Oz) Musicals were very much out of fashion during the 1980's but Little Shop Of Horrors was one which did work and went on to be incredibly successful. Reworked from a 1960's low budget Roger Corman horror it tells the story of a timid florist who discovers an alien plant which needs human blood in order to stay alive and grow, and grow it does, to a gargantuan size. This musical forms an ensemble cast of some of the best comedy talents of the 1980's: Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, John Candy & Bill Murray all deliver great performances. Directed by Miss Piggy.
"Little Shop of Horrors" (PG-13) plays tonight at 7:00pm. A dark musical comedy starring Rick Morranis and guest appearances by John Candy, Steve Martin, Bill Murray and more. Did you know that the music was written by Alan Menken? Alan Menken has won 8 academy awards for his work with Disney, so you know the music is great! Showing also tomorrow at 2 & 7 and Sunday at 2. We hope to see you for this funny, campy, cult classic!
Is there anyone more purely funny than Peter Sellers? Maybe save for Bill Murray. Or Steve Martin. Or Jack Handey. Or...?
WHO WINS THIS BATTLE? To me, the 3 best casts of Saturday Night Live was the original few seasons (Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Gilda Radner, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Garrett Morris), early 90's cast (Chris Rock, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Spade, Rob Schneider) and the mid to late 90's cast (Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Tim Meadows, Norm McDonald, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, Darrell Hammond). Who wins in those 3 eras? I would love to put the Eddie Murphy era but during that time he was the funniest on there by far! There was also Martin Short and Julia Louis-Dryfuss. FYI: Did you know that Damon Waynes and Anthony Michael Hall was on SNL for a season?
So, Bill Murray is an obvious like. Chevy? Like or dislike? Steve Martin?
Then, they showed him pictures of Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Bill Cosby and said "Any questions?"
I think the funniest actor of all time is Bill Murray with Steve Martin as a quick second
I really think some of the original cast of Saturday Night Live should make come back film, like an expendables/hangover epic proof. Bill Murray, Jim bellushi, Dan Ackroyd, Chevvy chase and Steve Martin. This would be class.
SNL TRIVIA FACTS Steve Martin is the only person to host a season premiere, a season finale, and a Christmas show and is the only person to host the show three times in a single season. He was never a cast member on the show. The misconception stems from the fact that he has hosted the show 15 times, in addition to doing occasional surprise appearances. John Goodman, a frequent guest host had auditioned for the show in 1980 when he was starting out as an actor. He has hosted the show 11 years in a row. There have been three sets of brothers who have been cast members on Saturday Night Live, John Belushi and James Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Peter Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray. Darrell Hammond holds the record for the number of seasons as a cast member (1995-2009), the oldest cast member (53 in his final season), and the number of times saying "Live from New York, it's Saturday night!" (70). Tim Meadows and Chris Parnell are the only cast members to be fired and then rehired the following season ...
Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Steve Martin are also very clever and funny online.
6. Actors considered for the role of Indiana Jones included Nick Nolte, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Jack Nicholson.

Who's the better 80's comedic actor: Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Martin Short or John Candy?
Paul Rockower's question got me started. One B-day dinner guest isn't enough. How about an entire day... Outdoor breakfast at Harpers Ferry, WV, w/ Walt Whitman. Barbara Daley will join us. Lunch at a bistro in Paris w/ Siddhattha Gotama, Gandhi, Tenzin Gyatso, and Menachem Schneerson. And John Lennon, if he's available. I have questions for each one. You're all invited to listen in. Late afternoon wine & cheese in a sun-drenched field in central France w/ friend Don Lucas. We're with Edouard Manet, Georges Seurat, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro, Paul Gauguin, Auguste Renoir, Mary Cassatt and Claude Monet. And Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, just for kicks. Play pétanque, drink pastis, laugh at the world... Dinner party at Park Hyatt Tokyo's bar w/ Fan and ALL our friends. Everyone! Special guests John Cleese, Steve Martin, Whoopi Goldberg and Bill Murray. End of day: solo horseback under stars, sleep in a yurt on the steppes of central Mongolia. Extra: Circumnavigate Taiwan w/ Casey Chiu and a few friends . ...
I believe Steve Martin & Bill Murray are the 2 funniest men alive & Mel Brooks & Carl Reiner are 2 of the most brilliant comical minds ever.
Some Friday Funnies for you, sponsored by my soon-to-be extracted wisdom teeth. Steve Martin and Bill Murray!
The fact that Morgan freeman, Tom Hanks, Bill Murray, and Steve Martin are getting pretty old makes me want to cry.
Yes! Another fave! Hey, you must love this film too Steve Martin + Bill Murray (they steal the film)
So I had a dentist appointment today at 1 p.m. It won't be pleasant, as it's the first step for a third dental implant. Just when I was sure I'd steeled and fully prepared myself for 1 p.m., they called with a cancellation. Now, it's at 11 a.m. Can't help but think of Steve Martin's character in "Little Shop of Horrors" every time I go to the dentist, even for a cleaning! I am not like Bill Murray at all! I simply remember these all important words - GIVE ME THE NITROUS - NOW!
Growing up during the ‘80s, John Candy has always been the quintessential comedian to me. The comedies that I watched as a kid included all the major Candy films, The Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, Spaceballs, etc., and I even watched his short lived Saturday morning cartoon series Camp Candy. To me, John Candy will always be the one and only King of Comedy. Looking back over John Candy’s films, he’s the consummate family comedian. Though he’s been in a few rated R films, 90% of his work is family friendly, from Summer Rental to Cool Runnings. And thanks to his partnership with John Hughes, he received roles in most of the major Hugh films; from National Lampoon’s Vacation to Home Alone. Additionally, Candy worked with nearly every leading comedic actor of his day; Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Eugene Levy, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, and Rick Moranis. John Candy was a comedic icon, who worked with the best and produced a brilliant legacy of films that lives on. Long live ...
Did you know... Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Christopher Walken, Nicolas Cage, Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, Ben Stiller, Dwayne Johnson, Bill Murray, Leslie Nielsen, Patrick Stewart, Rowan Atkinson, Robert De Niro and Michael Keaton were all considered for the role of Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's 2005, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Marilyn Manson also badly wanted the part. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was his second choice after Johnny Depp. Good thing Johnny got it since we love The Rock best when he stars in action films such as the upcoming GI Joe: Retaliation (March 29th) and Pain & Gain (April 26th).
Why is it that Steve Martin became pathetically boring and unfunny with age and Bill Murray continues to only gets better??? What's with that??? I shall prey to Geebus for answers and get back to you with the results.
Definitely. Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, John Candy + the voice of Levi Stubbs (The Four Tops).. can't go wrong!
Alright, we've got some winners to announce!! Mary Poppins won over The Sound of Music, and Bill Murray won over Steve Martin!!!
"11-4-78" Steve Martin was the host and he's usually good. Bill Murray jumps through a ring of fire and does it successfully, very good.
MOVIE FACTOID FRIDAY: The Mexican village in THREE AMIGOS (starring Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short) is the same one used in The Magnificent Seven, the same movie which this one spoofs. Steven Spielberg was going to direct, but went on to direct E.T. instead. He would have chosen Steve Martin, Bill Murray, and Robin Williams to play the main characters.
REALLY digging the old clips from "back in the day"! Steve Martin, Jim Belushi, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd...
Oh my god. Bill Murray, Steve Martin, and Mel Brooks are going to die in my lifetime.
Watching Little Shop of Horrors for the first time ever... Trippy as *** And a lot of good people. "Everybody Hates Chris" mama, Tichina Arnold, "My Wife and Kids" mama, Tisha Campbell-Martin. Both in "Martin" together. Bill Murray, John Candy, Jim Belushi, and Steve Martin all on "Saturday Night Live" together. Rick Moranis from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." Ellen Greene, mainly from "Young and the Restless". She reminded me of Rhea Perlman from "Matilda." Who is, ironically, actually married to Danny Davito. Who was on "Saturday Night Live", also in '80 and '86...
who does everyone think is going to host snl on Dec. 8? Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Mike Myers, Mindy Kaling, TINA? They better not disapoint
Steve Martin and Bill Murray's cameos in Little Shop of Horrors are brilliant. I forgot they were in here
it was on last night! Good movie! Some awesome cameos from Steve Martin, Bill Murray and James Belushi.
I really hope to meet Bill Murray and Steve Martin. Their my favorite comedic actors.
I was never a huge Steve Martin fan back in the day, but he and Bill Murray completely knock me out with this one-line routine...
watching the Director's Cut of Little Shop of Horrors ... forgot about all the great cameos! Bill Murray, Steve Martin, John Candy & Christopher Guest ... " feed me!"
Little Shop of Horrors makes me miss Rick Moranis. I also miss when Steve Martin, John Candy, Bill Murray, and Jim Belushi were comedians.
Watching Little Shop of Horrors with the family. Such a great movie, I love Steve Martin and Bill Murray in it. Watching Zombieland tonight after the kids go to bed. Love celebrating Halloween all month :)
Watching Little Shop of Horrors from 1986. Gotta love the scene at the dentist with Steve Martin and Bill Murray!
It's been a while since I've seen Frank Oz's adaptation of Little Shop OF HORRORS, starring Rick Moranis, Bill Murray, Ellen Green, Steve Martin, John Candy, James Belushi, and Levi Stubbs. As a kid I used to watch it frequently, mostly because it was both hilarious and scary at the same time. A v...
Some *** said the Apatow actors were the gods of comedy. Really?! Six names, learn them and pray to them! Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Richard Pryor George Carlin, Steve Martin, and John MotherBelushi!!! The patron saints of comedy. Y'all better recognize.
Saturday Night Live, although you are a re-run... I think, you really let me down. Seth Meyers, you are one of the worst head writers, you are your staff's $&is rarely funny. Way to make some mediocre comedians seem even less funny than normal. I say Lorne Michaels, she'll out the big bucks and do like survivor, or the apprentice, or whatever hip soon to jump the shark show does, pay the money to have every "all star" cast member (still alive) come back for one season. SNL allstar. Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, David Spade, Chevy Chase, Will "For Real" Farrell... And so on, oh and for crap's sake get some new writers. Sorry I couldn't remember any of the still living memorable women of SNL at first. Cheri Oteri, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon maybe. I really kinda dislike Tina Fey. Any ideas feel free to comment. How amazing would an all star season be? I wonder how we could actually pitch this.
immense films mate. If Tom Hanks, John Candy, Bill Murray or Steve Martin were in it then it was class!
A shout out to the people who have made me what I am today ;) Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Cindy Louper, Elvira, Robin Leach, Bill Cosbey, Bill Murray, Dolly, my mom and Jesus. Thanks! THANKS A LOT!
Watching a SNL episode with Bill Murray and John Belushi and hosted by Steve Martin. Absolutely awesome!
Would it be too much to ask that a movie already existed where Steve Martin plays the son of Bill Murray, perfectly incorporating their comedy?
They should make The Expendables but with 80s comedy stars like Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Steve Guttenberg and Chevy Chase
New dream in life, become best friends with Steve Martin and Bill Murray.
The Rustic this evening with John Seguin playing...you guessed it...music. Why not come out and catch John and I do our Steve Martin and Bill Murray skit of "What the *** is That?" We start at 9pm...
I get off work and "Little Shop of Horrors", is on! Bill Murray and Steve Martin scene! Yes!
Just watched Groundhog Day. I have to say, I miss the type of comedies that Bill Murray, Chris Farley, Steve Martin, Leslie Nielsen, and Jim Carey used to produce. We need more "honest to God" funny movies these days.
It makes me happy that Bill Murray still makes films. Now if only Steve Martin would focus on the banjo instead of Cheaper By The Dozen.
Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, John Belushi and Steve Martin. What more could you want! The 70's were great!
I wish Tim Conway was my grandpa and Bill Murray and Steve Martin were my cooky uncles.
What happened to the good old days of great movies from actors like John Candy, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and Bill Murray? Can honestly say nobody did comedy better then them...
Gilda Radner is the bee's knees. Comedic genius. Ft. Bill Murray and Steve Martin. SNL at its finest
So poll question for the day: who's better Steve Martin or Bill Murray?
You can NEVER have too much Steve Martin or Bill Murray in your life.
Bill Murray is an interesting case study -- He's enjoyed an incredibly successful film career that's spanned over three decades, and yet like so many comedic film actors of his generation (such as Steve Martin and Dan Akyroyd), he would never be considered to be your traditional "leading man&q...
Bill Murray is playing FDR. Robin Williams is playing Eisenhower. Is Steve Martin going to play Truman?
Had a dream this morning that i was on some sort of outing with movie stars like Steve Martin, Bill Murray, and a few others that are too blurry to remember. We went on some crazy roller coaster ride, then sat down and had dinner...anyone got any ideas as to translation?
They want either Bill Murray, John Lithgow, Martin Short or Steve Martin to play Jeff's Dad on Community. PLEASE BE BILL

Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray haven't made a decent comedy in my lifetime, yet they're considered comedy legends.
step brothers, deuce bigalow, tommy boy, the other guys, anything with Steve Martin, anything with Bill Murray. Good luck!
Getting a wisdom tooth out - what an awful experience! Car park was packed. No wi fi. And to cap it all, tablets I have to take for five days say 'no alcohol.' What a bummer. Tooth came out in the end. Anyone seen 'Little Shop of Horrors' - the bit with Steve Martin and Bill Murray? Sums it up. More metal than on Lars Ulrich's drum kit. Suppose you want a picture. Think hamster.
The sadisitic dentist finds his match in a sadomasochistic patient... :) Featuring a relatively youthful Steve Martin & Bill Murray. Watch it fullscreen.
Still waiting for that Wes Anderson movie, written by Charlie Kaufman, starring Bill Murray and Steve Martin... to exist.
Kristen Wiig left SNL and I'm not gonna lie, I teared up a bit. Sad Day. I think it would be awesome for SNL to do a full show with a mix of the best casts, but not tell anyone until it airs. IE "It's Sautrday Night Live featuring Bill Murray, Dana Carvey, Will Ferrell..." so on and hosted by either Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, or Jon Hamm. Then do a whole show as if it were totally normal. How do we make THIS happen?
Bill Murray revival is cool, but Steve Martin invented individualism.
Just watch an entire first season of Saturday Night Live, and now the second season which include Steve Martin's first time hosting the show and Chevy Chase's last show from October 23, 1976 ans Bill Murray's first show from January 15 1977, bring back a lot of memories
My girlfriend just told me she doesn't like Bill Murray...or Steve Martin. So...I'm single. Who's gonna be my date come Friday night?
Had a dream that Bill Murray and Steve Martin ran the most hilarious Easter church service ever.
If you didn't know who Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Dan Ackroyd, or John Belushi was growing up, you're too young for me.
Steve Martin and Bill Murray checking out my artwork back in the 70's.
Liam and I are watching Little Shop of Horrors. The campy musical aspect is ridiculous. Plus, it has a cameo from Bill Murray, John Candy is the cr-aazy DJ and Steve Martin plays a sadistic dentist. Made in 1986 and I saw it in the theater. I feel old. But awesome.
A list of people I would like as my fathers: Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Jack Nicholson, Steve Buschemi, Leslie Nielsen, Gene Wilder.
How different would Star Wars be if Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Steve Martin, or Bill Murray had played Han Solo?
Dan Ackroyd and Bill Murray are my favorites. Ackroyd and Steve Martin skits. Bill Murray and Gilda Radner as"Lisa Loopner"best
Yes. You're alone. Oh, wait...Bill Murray liked when Steve Martin did it. So there's two of you. My mistake.
I have those dreams about Dave all the time. See also: Steve Martin, Bill Murray.
Netflix has every Saturday Night Live from the '80s. Just watched monologues by Steve Martin, Danny DeVito, Bill Murray and (!) Ringo Starr.
I'm going more with John Candy (w. Hughes), Steve Martin, Metallica, GnR, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, STALLONE
after watching Little Shop of Horrors I was reminded how annoying Audreys voice was. The only thing that made it better was the Bill Murray and Steve Martin scene.
Reading "Little Shop of Horrors" play for class. Found out that Rick Moranis, Bill Murray, and Steve Martin are in the movie. Downloaded it.
Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey and Will Farrell are some of my favorite comedic actors!! ^-^
naw, not him, perhaps Will Farrell would be more in keeping with Kenny's personality, or Steve Martin, Bill Murray
Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, John Candy, Steve Martin... That's an era of classic comedy that comedians will NEVER come close to.
