Moonrise Kingdom is the Clue of the new millennium and one of Bill Murray's best
I really enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom. I loved Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, and Bill Murray in it. thank you based Wes Anderson
Frances Mcdormand says she and Bill Murray still call each other by the names they had in Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom."
Bill Murray and Frances Mcdormand still call each other Mr. or Mrs. Bishop from their time doing Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom.

Wow... Thank you Bill Murray, Darjeeling Limited, and Life Aquatic for preparing me for the awesome nature in Moonrise Kingdom; and of course Wes Anderson for making all these movies... I think isighed and wished Brian was here watching it with me at least 3 times...

This past Groundhog Day, Kristen and I felt like a couple of Wild Things and went to Bill Murray's new Larger Than Life restaurant called Kingpin in The Grand Budapest Hotel on Garfield avenue in the City Of Ember, aka the Lost City, in the Moonrise Kingdom near Hyde Park On The Hudson Where the Buffalo Roam. It felt like Zombieland and smelled of Coffee And Cigarettes. I told her Stories From My Childhood about a fight between the Fantastic Mr. Fox and a pimp named Osmosis Jones. The night turned into a Little Shop Of Horrors when I accidentally called her Tootsie and handed her Broken Flowers. This pushed her to The Razor's Edge of her Limits Of Control and she dumped hot Meatballs on my lap that made Stripes on my Hamlet and then she slapped me across the face with toast covered in Space Jam. I felt the Shame Of The Jungle and made a Quick Change of the subject and explained that my gesture was Lost In Translation and then bungled a Passion Play that Ed Wood could have directed when I said, "I'm sorry, ...
Watching Moonrise Kingdom at tomorrow?! Bill Murray has a hint for you on where to go after!
Shine like I know that he feels me. Moonrise Kingdom, Im a young Bill Murray
Moonrise Kingdom. 8/10. I was asleep for approximately 1/3 of this film. 7 points for being well cute. 1 point for casting Bruce Willis alongside Bill Murray. Now I need a penknife with a racoon head embalm.
If you were 12 in the year 1965, I highly recommend the movie (on TV right now) called, "Moonrise Kingdom". (some of the supporting cast are: Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Harvey Keitel, Neil Huff, etc; the movie is hilarious.) It is about scouting and being 12. It's great!
Are they just having Moonrise Kingdom members host in order? Bill Murray next please
Moonrise Kingdom is on HBO this month. An absolutely charming film with many great actors: Tilda Swanson, Edward Norton, Bill Murray. I can't remember a film I've enjoyed more.
Just finished watching "Moonrise Kingdom" - an inoffensive, amusing film with Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Bruce Willis, Frances Mcdormand et al and a bunch of 14 yo kids.
Bill Murray was like hardly in moonrise kingdom what a jip
Photo: Moonrise Kingdom is such an amazing movie, but isn’t anything with Bill Murray and Edward Norton?
i love the films of Wes Anderson. And the performances of Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman. Rushmore, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, The Royal Tennenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox. think those are the only ones ive seen of his. Great Director, Martin Scorsese agrees with me.
Just watched Moonrise Kingdom. Wow. What a quirky movie. Bruce Willis and Bill Murray gave it credibility as a comedy/drama. (dramedy?) Surely there are many layers to this movie. Opinions?
Well, I watched "Moonrise Kingdom" and wasn't as impressed as I thought I might be (I guess I'd expected more with a combination of Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Frances Mcdormand and Tilda Swinton in a Wes Anderson film); but I was pleasantly surprised to find they used a Françoise Hardy song in it ("Le Temps de l'Amour")! I'm aware the film has been nominated for an Academy Award and has won and been nominated for other honors; but considering all the talent oozing from the stellar cast and crew, I felt it was a rather lame film. Nonetheless, I was really, really pleased they chose to include Françoise's song.
I'm in a hotel watching a movie I have never heard of called "Moonrise Kingdom" with Bill Murray & Bruce Willis. I'm not permitted to partake in Mother Earth's special plant so can someone please tell me *** is this Pink Floyd-like movie about.
Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, its by Wes Anderson who did The Fantastic Mr.Fox, The Royal Tennebaums & Moonrise Kingdom. I
Bill Murray, Edward Norton & Tilda Swinton in a Wes Anderson movie - no wonder Moonrise Kingdom was Oscar nominated!
Chris reviews "Moonrise Kingdom" starring Edward Norton, Bruce Willis and Bill Murray - Check it out @
Bout to watch Moonrise Kingdom. Don't really know what it's about but Bill Murray is in it.
Moonrise Kingdom makes me want to find a beautiful troubled girlfriend. I need Wes Anderson, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson as wingmen
Am watching 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou' - is this a relative of 'Moonrise Kingdom', or does Bill Murray only make it seem so?
Moonrise Kingdom: written by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola; directed by Wes Anderson; starring Jared Gilman (Sam Shakusky), Kara Hayward (Suzy Bishop), Bruce Willis (Captain Sharp), Edward Norton (Scout Master Ward), Bill Murray (Walt Bishop), Frances Mcdormand (Laura Bishop), and Bob Balaban (Narrator) (2012): Another one of Wes Anderson's tiny, nearly perfect miniatures, quirky as usual and humane. The love of 12-year-olds Sam Shakusky and Suzy Bishop leads them to run away from home. Well, he runs away from his Khaki Scout Troop. But all this is happening on one of the small, rural islands near New York (so far as I can tell, anyway) in the mid-1960's, and there's a major storm rolling in. The major players are Sam, an orphan whose foster family intends to send him back to Social Services; Suzy, a depressed outsider with a great love of reading and mascara; Police Captain Sharp, a lonely bachelor having an affair with Suzy's mother, played by Frances Mcdormand; Walt Bishop, played by Bill Mur ...
Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, and Bill Murray are one of the best trio I have seen in a while. Moonrise Kingdom was awesome.
Moonrise Kingdom had such potential. It could have been a truly whimsical, heart warming and endearing story. Unfortunately it wasn't. I enjoyed The Royal Tenenbaums and really hoped this one would be just as great. While the cinematography, costume design and musical score felt the same, nothing made me want to like the characters. The Tenenbaums you like despite their extensive faults. They had substance and character. The casting director for Moonrise Kingdom may as well have used cardboard cutouts even of Bill Murray. I am disappointed.
Moonrise Kingdom. Awesome flick. Would've loved to see more Bill Murray and Bruce Willis confrontations though. 7.5/10.
Any movie including Bill Murray and Frances Mcdormand is going to be great, but it was the set of Moonrise Kingdom that most charmed me. The 1960s feel was spot on. When I'm big, I'm going to live at Summers End.
Missed it last summer, but just saw Moonrise Kingdom on DVD; anyone with kids should see this: imaginative, creative, quirky film with a terrific cast: Bruce Willis (imagine that), Tilda Swinton, Bob Balaban, Bill Murray and 2 fab adolescents playing Suzy and Sam, both misfits who run away on an island. Great sound track as well, everything from country to Benjamin Britten and Mozart. The only movie to credit by name people in the orchestra, including a piccolo trumpet player. A 4 star movie, without doubt.
Directed by Wes Anderson. With Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Olivia Williams, Seymour Cassel. The king of Rushmore prep school is put on academic probation.
Enjoyed a day at home on a soupy Saturday, after completing the weekly upkeep since Anna went off to prison to see her husband Bates. Don attended a board meeting at the range then we went off to California Pizza. To finsh off the night watched Moonrise Kingdom with Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Frances McDermott. An odd movie of young love and scouting. I enjoyed the humor and glimpse back to the 1960s.
Step one: brew a pot of coffee. Step two: move the couch over to the window. Step three: cue up Wes Anderson movies on computer. Step four: snuggle into couch with Bill Murray and coffee, watch the snow fall.
Best Film of 2012 - Moonrise Kingdom - one of Wes Anderson's Best Films - Bruce Willis is terrific as is Bill Murray & Frances Mcdormand
Groundhog Day! I wanna watch that, and Zombieland and Moonrise Kingdom and Life Aquatic, and ya know, ANYTHING with Bill Murray :)
The Royal Tenenbaums is directed by Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic, Moonrise Kingdom) and the film stars Gene Hackman (The Birdcage, Unforgiven), Gwyneth Paltrow (Seven, Iron Man), Ben Stiller (Tropic Thunder, Night at the Museum), Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers, Midnight in Paris), Anjelica Huston (50/50, The Life Aquatic), Luke Wilson (Legally Blonde, Old School), Bill Murray (Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters) and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon). The film follows the Tenenbaums, an enstranged family of former child prodiges when one of their members announces he has a terminal illness. The Royal Tenenbaums is a fantastic movie! I loved it! It's a good blend between comedy and drama. It's also quirky and unique, like other Wes Anderson movies are. Also, the characters are well-developed and Wes Anderson does a beautiful job at camera angles. Overall, I loved The Royal Tenenbaums. Go rent it! My rating: 5/5
Moonrise Kingdom was surprisingly good. I couldn't figure out how a movie about two twelve-year-olds eloping in 1965 managed to get Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Frances Mcdormand (Fargo), Tilda Swinton (lately, you'll know her as the Ice Queen from Narnia), Harvey Keitel (who doesn't seem to be credited, but it's him), and Jason Schwartzman (also Bob Balaban, who nobody knows, but is great), and none of them are even the main characters. I'm told the movie is an allegory. All I know is it made hilarious fun of the Boy Scouts by showing them being totally serious. See this movie.
Hyde Park on Hudson dances around FDR's indiscretions while hosting the King and Queen of England. It's fluff with a great Bill Murray. I love when Murray plays against type and delivers a real performance like this one. It's a great balance to roles like his in Moonrise Kingdom and Zombieland. This film is told from cousin Daisy's perspective, and Laura Linney has never failed me in a movie that I remember. There are wonderful scenes of FDR and Daisy driving through the country and FDR and the King sharing drinks and life stories. This is light, airy comedy of period costumes and vintage cars. It works as a nice counterpoint to today's messy politics.
"Moonrise Kingdom" - Wes Anderson - Director, Producer, Screenwriter, creates magic with this delightful and humorous film of childhood love that will make kids of all ages smile. Big names like Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, and more. Where has this gem been hiding?
What do I think? I think Bigelow got screwed, that's what I think! So did Affleck, but his time's coming (um, as a director, that is.) I'm delighted for my friend Kristina Reed and "Paperman's" nomination for Animated Short. As for the MIAs, well, as far as I'm concerned Bryan Cranston was the best actor in "Argo", period. Also MIA: Bill Murray (for "Moonrise Kingdom," NOT "Hyde/Hudson"); Richard Gere in "Arbitrage;" Rachel Weisz in "Deep Blue Sea"; Mark Ruffalo in "The Avengers" (I'm not kidding!!); Marion Cotilliard in "Rust & Bone"...Can't think of any others at the moment, but the day's just started...I'm really starting to hate awards season, just so you know.
If you like weird/funny movies and you like Bill Murray then you might like Moonrise Kingdom. But idk what kinda person you are, if your even reading this, are you reading this?.goodnight
I recommend watching Moonrise Kingdom. With Edward Norton, Bruce Willis and Bill Murray. How could you go wrong?
I think Ed Norton and Bill Murray's characters might be the best part of Moonrise Kingdom.
Finally watching Moonrise Kingdom. Can we bet Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and/or the Wilson brothers are in the next Wes Anderson pic?
Charlie Sheen, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman star in this surreal comedy about Swan, a ladies man and graphic designer in the 1970s, whose life is thrown into a heartbroken tailspin after his girlfriend dumps him. Written and directed by Roman Coppola.
Pay Per View Movie Roundup: "Savages" - you have to give Oliver Stone full credit for tackling another controversial subject, this time the mean Mexican cartels in Southern Cal (Grade: B); "Moonrise Kingdom" - a cute quirky coming-of-age indie starring Ed Norton and Bill Murray, and from the Director of "The Royal Tennenbaums" and "Rushmore." If you liked those 2 films, watch it. If not, skip it.(Grade: B+)
I just saw a nice little film called "Moonrise Kingdom". It's about a couple of 12 year old's that fall in love and run away together. I say little film but it has a huge cast that includes Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton and others.
Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, and Bill Murray? And a 94 on Rotten Tomatoes? Watch Moonrise Kingdom on MUTV streaming, see what its all about
yeah ! He's in this movie Moonrise Kingdom with Bill Murray and Bruce Willis I'm watching
Movie Night at the Kate !! A fundraiser for SafeGrad Night- looking forward to seeing all my townies... "Moonrise Kingdom" with Bill Murray and Bruce Willis $20, starts at 6:30...tix at Harbor Books or at the door
just watched a suprisingly good movie, Moonrise Kingdom. Great cast, I put it somewhere in the same category as Stand By Me. Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, Frances Mcdormand, Bill Murray, Harvey Keitel, Tilda Swinton-worth watching
Just watched Moonrise Kingdom with Edward Norton and Bill Murray. Best *** movie I've seen in a WHILE.
My review for Moonrise Kingdom with , Bill Murray, and Bruce Willis. It's a good flick!
My bf and I screwed up and went as Frances Mcdormand and Bill Murray from Moonrise Kingdom.
Post roast with big cup of hot chocolate and about to watch Moonrise Kingdom. I'm not a Wes Anderson lover, but I am a Bill Murray lover!
Getting a new fix of Bill Murray this evening, Moonrise Kingdom ahoy!
& now I'm watching Moonrise Kingdom. The description sounds lame but it's got Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, & Bill Murray in it so it can't be THAT bad, right? We shall see...
I really like "Moonrise Kingdom" directed by Wes Anderson. Check it out if you haven't already seen it (Bruce Wiliis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, and cast of really funny actors)
"In the works. The Los Angeles Times‘ Glenn Whipp talks with Wes Anderson about the film he’s preparing to shoot in Germany, Grand Budapest Hotel, featuring Bill Murray, Ralph Fiennes, Jude Law, and Jason Schwartzman. When Anderson mentions that it’s “inspired partly by Hollywood Europe,” Whipp asks, “do you mean the tone of movies by directors like Ernst Lubitsch and Billy Wilder?” Anderson: “Yes, like To Be or Not to Be, the Lubitsch with Carole Lombard, that Europe which is not made in Europe at all…. So I think we’ve got a little bit of that feel, that Europe on the Hollywood back lot, even though we’re actually going to Europe to do it…. The Lubitsch ones are always good to aim for.” Sounds great, especially considering Moonrise Kingdom also had Euro influences...
Getting around to Moonrise Kingdom tonight. Spoiler alert: Bill Murray has patchwork Madras pants, right?
Watched Moonrise Kingdom last night and all I could think of is the story told to me by Barthman. Bill Murray is walking through an airport and stops to eat a fry from a child's plate, followed by saying "No one is ever going to believe you"
Moonrise Kingdom. Another pairing of Wes Anderson and Bill Murray. Quirky. Funny. I liked it.
After some heinous traffic and a rain-filled morning, I feel the need to appreciate the little things... 1) Got to watch a bizarre movie last night (Moonrise Kingdom) with Edward Norton AND Bruce Willis AND, yes - Bill Murray! And I watched it with my two favorite men ( : 2) Beautiful rainbow over Seattle this morning as I drove in 3) The rain stopped just long enough for me to get from my car to my office without getting soaked
Watched "Moonrise Kingdom" today as the hurricane blew by and I've got to say that I was spellbound by this motion picture. The cast of Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Francis McDormond, Ed Norton and all those young kids brought back both memories of the '60s and my own early adolescence. This was certainly the best movie of it's kind since "Stand By Me".
Missed it in the theater, but I can now say that after a lull that included his first big miss (Life Aquatic), the uneven but occassionally brilliant Darjeeling Limited, and the excellent (but animated and more for kids) Fantastic Mr. Fox, Wes Anderson is back to true form with Moonrise Kingdom. It's both an homage to From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler and a brilliant ensemble piece of families divided and found (a recurring Anderson motif best personified in Royal Tenenbaums), plus the delightful Bill Murray performance we've come to expect.
Just watched Wes Anderson's latest film: Moonrise Kingdom and loved it. It is my favorite film of Anderson's since Rushmore. Artistically stylized in vertical and horizontal formats, the visual designs provide an running undercurrent of humor to the often stilted, "school play" delivery by excellent actors such as Ed Norton, Bill Murray, and the chronically heroic Bruce Willis. Anderson makes an artform of whimsey and quirkey, and although his deliberate slow pace (Masterpice Theater is sometimes brisk by comparison) may be excruciating at first to some young Americans raised on fast edits and continual explosions, Moonrise Kingdom is worth the investment of patience (an exhibition of paintings is even slower)
Moonrise Kingdom was such a nice surprise, lovely fairy-tale like story.Bill Murray,Bruce Willis &Ed Norton+great young actors really make it
If you're looking for a very delightful movie this weekend while waiting for "Sandy", check out "Moonrise Kingdom". Bruce Willis, Edw Norton, Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand & Jason Schwartzmann can't stop true love between two 12 year olds who seem smarter than all the adults. Set in 1965, the kids are in love, not lust, and all the '60's sensabilities and memorabilia will delight you; not to mention the wilderness skills of the scout troop to which the boy belongs. It's On Demand for those who have that service.
Young love blossoms in "Moonrise Kingdom," even if the appropriate adults don't approve. Bruce Willis, Edward Norton and Bill Murray star in this quirky, carefully crafted comedy, ascending onto DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
To anyone feeling nostalgic for youth I recommend watching Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson. It has the perfect mix of innocence, adventure, love and Bill Murray. Simply poetry on screen.
So excited.about to watch Moonrise Kingdom [ Bill Murray / Edward Norton ]
My English teacher saw the film Moonrise Kingdom, and he loves Bill Murray. Mr. Terzano be my friend
Just watched Rushmore with Bill Murray. Fantastic movie directed by Wes Anderson. All his movies are hilarious. I think he also did Moonrise Kingdom and Fantastic Mr. Fox. Great director...
I know I may be a little behind on this, but Moonrise Kingdom... I am in love with everything about this movie. I wish Sam was my boyfriend when I was 12, I wanna go camping, I love Bruce Willis in that uniform (yum), and Bill Murray's clear glasses!
Why does Wes Anderson always kill the dog and make a cuckold of Bill Murray? -watching Moonrise Kingdom
Mysigaste trivian jag läst på länge (från Moonrise Kingdom). Det e ju bara så det ska va: "During filming, Wes Anderson rented an old mansion in Newport, Rhode Island for himself, editor Andrew Weisblum, and director of cinematography Robert D. Yeoman, in which they had a room set up for editing the film. It had been arranged for the cast to stay in a nearby hotel, but eventually some of the actors also decided to stay at the mansion, including Edward Norton, Bill Murray, and Jason Schwartzman. Murray later joked that the theory was to have everyone close by so that they could all work "ungodly art-movie hours"."
About to watch Moonrise Kingdom. Never thought I'd see 2 of my favourite ppl of all time, Bruce Willis and Bill Murray in the same picture.
I just saw Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom and it was excellent. Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Ed Norton & a bunch of funny kids.
Wes Anderson is already working on a new movie, even though Moonrise Kingdom is still playing in some theatres. It will star Bill Murray, Angela Lansbury, Jude Law and Ralph Fiennes.
Alright man here we go: Moonrise Kingdom review: First off, this movie was released very limited this year and it fits the tone and I really enjoy Wes Anderson's movies, that being said, I really liked this one. It has the same style, wit, and drama that the others have and just because it feels the same doesnt mean its different. It is, and it's very interesting. In fact, everything is, the characters, the dialogue, the set pieces, all wonderful. There isn't a single character i didn't like or a joke i didn't get. It's also neat to note that Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, and of course Bill Murray are in this film but are cast as side characters and instead we focus on two preteens on a quest to find love. Very beautiful. It embodies the innocence that young kids have and the urge to break away from heartbreak and lonesomeness. I'll admit some parts are unnecessary but that doesn't ruin the film, it just adds to its quirkiness and that might drive people away. Also, I don't know if this a running theme or not ...
Now class, if you’ll all take a look at your handy guide to Wes Anderson actors, you’ll see that Bill Murray never strays far from the director, especially in a professional sense. After already appearing in six of Anderson’s films, most recently Moonrise Kingdom, Murray has confirmed another additi...
Bill Murray throwing a shoe at Edward Norton in Moonrise Kingdom will never not be funny
Just got Moonrise Kingdom!!! bill murray! Gonna torture martha by making her watch this dry humor *** movie!
Moonrise Kingdom releases in India this week. Please go and watch it. Critics have called it Wes Andersons Best Film to date. It will release in PVR theatres ( maybe others also ) and stars Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Harvey Kietel, Frances Mcdormand, Tilda Swinton.
Moonrise Kingdom! Starring Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, and Jason Schwartzman!. Come see it at
Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, and others, Moonrise Kingdom made for a great night. You all did very well. Thank you.
Movie: Moonrise Kingdom, directed by Wes Anderson is a masterpiece. One of the Best Films Ive seen. Full of colorful, youthful magic. Told with the rich, ripe imagination of late childhood, it's shot almost like a cartoon, playing with themes of love and angst dawning in the sudden wake of teenagehood. The light boys choral, percussion and small orchestra score is delightful and theatrical. Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Harvey Keitel make their signture on this joy of an Art piece. Its for everybody. Go see it.
Summer 2012 Winners and Losers Winners : 1. Joss Whedon and "The Avengers": The summer's opening -- and best -- studio tent-pole blockbuster. Now, Whedon will direct the sequel, too. 2. Matthew Mcconaughey: The hunky actor got a career infusion with his Oscar-baiting male stripper in the surprise hit "Magic Mike." Continue to take it off, Matt! (Add in the underrated "Bernie" and "Killer Joe," too, for a massive and interesting comeback.) 3. Wes Anderson and "Moonrise Kingdom": Anderson's most successful live-action movie also boosted the careers of Bill Murray and Bruce Willis. 4. Jeremy Renner and "The Bourne Legacy": Renner proved that he could open a movie and make audiences forget Matt Damon as Jason Bourne -- and he also had a piece of "The Avengers" action as "Hawkeye." 5. Tom Hardy and "The Dark Knight Rises": Hardy is the summer's breakout action star with dramatic chops -- see also "Lawless" -- and he rises with the Dark Knight franchise. 6. Seth Macfarlane, Mark Wahlberg, and "Ted": A sleeper h ...
Moonrise Kingdom -- I knew Frances Mcdormand and Bill Murray would be funny, but Ed Norton? he was wonderful (well, he's always wonderful, but he's never been funny). Maybe it's nostalgia, but the whole thing felt so New England to me. This is THE summer blockbuster, as far as I'm concerned.
I was thinking of seeing the O's game tonight, but instead I may check out Moonrise Kingdom, the new Wes Anderson movie chock full of a cast of my favorites: Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzmann, Ed Norton, Bruce Willis... not to mention 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. this simply can't be a loser!
If you haven’t seen it yet I would definitely recommend it. It’s an awkward love story told as only Wes Anderson could tell it. Bill Murray, Ed Norton, and Bruce Willis are incredible. I also loved...
went to the cinema this afternoon, had to choose between a Bourne movie without Bourne, a Total Recall remake without Mars and a Wes Anderson movie that kept both a good portion of it's characters smoking and Bill Murray in it's formula. I may of had the cinema to myself but Moonrise Kingdom delivered a very beautiful and a very human film, I'm starting to doubt Wes will ever disappoint me.
Went to see a movie that got excellent reviews and virtually no attention afterwards: Moonrise Kingdom, with Bill Murray, Tilda Swinson, Bruce Willis, and several others you'd recognize in supporting roles to a large cast of kids! Quirky, funny, seriously adult themes, and pre-teen angst. Recommend.
Liked watching "Moonrise Kingdom" movie last night at Ragtag theater with good friends. It has Bill Murray and Bruce Willis and other actors I've seen before. Later looked up "Kaw-Liga" song that was in it.
watching Moonrise Kingdom & the fact that we met & partied & conversed with Bill Murray hasn't even come up yet...
Moonrise Kingdom starring Bill Murray and Bruce Willis coming to Blu-ray in October
Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand, and Bruce Willis in Wes Anderson's latest, Moonrise Kingdom is still playing at OFS this week.
gives thumbs up to "Moonrise Kingdom" starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Frances Mcdormand. The story involves two kids that come from dysfunctional families (to say the least) and they run away together. Reminded me of the 80s show "The Wonder Years" in a sense. Funny and poignant. 3 stars.
Ok folks so we’ve been hearing all of the rumors about the many Hollywood celebs hanging out in Newport this summer and we love it! They’re here shooting Moonrise Kingdom and it has really given a shot in the arm to the Newport nightlife scene this early in the season. Sure some have seen Bruc...
Wes Anderson uses Bill Murray the way that Leonardo Da Vinci used maroon. "Moonrise Kingdom" reminds me that film can be great art. I smiled all day.
"Moonrise Kingdom" - 1st audition, 1st acting job for these kids. Even with the always wonderful Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand, Tilda Swinton and Bruce Willis, the kids steal the show. Totally in love with the Wes Anderson 1965 fable. I might have to pull out my bright blue eyeshadow today.
When I saw Moonrise Kingdom, I really thought it had replaced The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou as my favorite movie. But I’ve just watched The Life Aquatic again and there’s really no beating a film that pays homage to Jacques Cousteau, stars Bill Murray, and has a soundtrack made up almost entirely of David Bowie songs performed in Portuguese by one of the film’s characters.
Amazing meeting with the Roxy Theatre about future collaborations! Have you seen Moonrise Kingdom yet? I love Bill Murray...
Saw Moonrise Kingdom last night, a fun, weird movie starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel, Frances Mcdormand, Edward Norton. Check it out.
Went to see Moonrise Kingdom at the Osio. Absolutely loved it. Beautifully acted. Very sweet and funny. Just quirky enough not to be cloying. How can you go wrong with Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, and Frances Mcdormand in the same film? The kids, the dog, and the kitten were not bad either. Especially of interest to those who remember Boy Scout camps and jamborees.
So much going on again this weekend, what with Hitchcock at Fire Hall on Friday and Blues on the Red on Saturday, (Children of Eden closes tonight). But if you have not seen it, and if it's still here, I highly recommend Moonrise Kingdom. It's a wonderful film, sort of in the vein of Stand By Me, but more adults: Frances Mcdormand, Ed Norton, and Bill Murray. Cinematography is inspired.
Moonrise Kingdom. Highly recommend it! We saw it last night since we didn't want to see Spiderman, Batman or the Avengers. It was basically our only choice. It was excellent! Bill Murray and Bruce Willis were great in this movie, but the leads playing two 12 year old kids were fantastic! Go see it!
Really enjoyed the movie Moonrise Kingdom. Great visual affect, with some interesting actors (always love Bill Murray). Anyway, it was fun for Dorene and I. Now, it's back to the workweek for the two of us.
Watching Caddyshack, and thinking of how Bill Murray has managed to have longevity in his career-- and still reinvent himself with great, quirky roles. Still need to see Moonrise Kingdom, but to date one of my favorites is The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. It's hard to pick, but-- what is your favorite Bill Murray movie?
Saw the quirkiest, sweetest, *good* movie last night... Moonrise Kingdom. LOVED it! Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray... Unlikely cast, but amazingly loveable.
Bucks County PA, (and elsewhere) run don't walk to see Moonrise Kingdom!! Now its QUIRKY but GOOD!! Ed Norton, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Francis McDormand etc. etc. Excellent Casting and performances! You heard it here first (or 2nd/3rd etc.). Thanks , Beth Scholz!!
Finally saw Moonrise Kingdom this evening..quirky. Enjoyed it. Saw the trailer for another Bill Murray film "Hyde Park on Hudson" Intriguing
The 65th Cannes Film Festival begins on today and the opening film is Wes Anderson's latest, Moonrise Kingdom, starring Bill Murray, Francis McDormand, Bruce Willis, and Edward Norton, among others. Getting a new Anderson film is always exciting, but today's premiere (which we're covering) is signif...
Saw the movie Moonrise Kingdom this evening ... GO Bill Murray ...
Hot on the heels of the critical and commercial success of his Cannes opener, Moonrise Kingdom, Wes Anderson is moving through the gears in developing his next feature, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Anderson is lining-up another cast of 'A' listers with Johnny Depp already on board and Bill Murray and Edward Norton likely to return from Moonrise Kingdom. Little is known of the plot, which is likely to remain under wraps for some time, but Anderson has hinted that it will focus on adult themes. www.cinefilereview.com
Moonrise Kingdom; really good movie starring Ed Norton, Bill Murray, Bruce Wiilis and two very talented kid actors. Don't miss it. Get ready to laugh :)
Turns out my neighbor had her dates mixed up---so there was no play this afternoon. But she is quite laid back---so we ended up at *** Barrel and the movie, Moonrise Kingdom. It was interesting, enjoyable. Never seen Bruce Willis or Bill Murray in these kinds of roles.
see "Moonrise Kingdom" for use of Hank thruout; Bill Murray and Frances Mcdormand capture "Cold Cold Heart" visually, great achievement 3/3
Go see Moonrise Kingdom...especially if you remember the early 1960's. It was fantastic. Frances Mcdormand, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Wills...and a handful of kids.
Movie marathon successfully completed! Savages, moonrise kingdom, and then the avengers! Moonrise was much better than I expected. Bill Murray and Ed Norton are awesome.
Moonrise Kingdom is a fun movie w/ a terrific cast: Frances Mc Dermot (from w PA.), Bill Murray, Ed Norton, Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel & a young lady named Kara Hayward who plays a 12 yr old femme fatal who runs away w/ her 12 yr old boyfriend. She has a quality similar to Brooke Shields in Pretty Baby but this movie is light fare perfect for summer. 3 1/2 nods
Just saw Moonrise Kingdom. Not sure how I liked it. Don't think it's the sleeper hit of the year, but I enjoyed watching it. It was funny, it was weird, it was cute, it was awkward, it was random, Bill Murray was great, Bruce Willis was great, Edward Norton was great.
The subsidy that allowed me to start the antique and vintage sewing machine parlor & showroom located at 375 Union Street in Peterborough NH know as SewItsOld was working in the major motion picture / film industry. I must shamelessly plug a very beautiful movie that I had the good fortune to work on last year with some absolutely talented and wonderful people: Director Wes Anderson, Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances Dorman, Tilda Swinton as well as the children and the rest of the cast and crew of- 'Moonrise Kingdom'. It opened at the Cannes Film Festival this year and is at a theater near you! Locally it is here in Peterborough at our charming community theater and the historic Wilton Town Hall Theater. I think you will find it moving, fun and quite enjoyable. The only thing it is missing is a sewing machine... Wes just wouldn't put it in;-)
Moonrise Kingdom at the movies. Wonderful, memorable, great, quirky, funny, delightful. Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Bob Balaban and a fabulous group of kids.
Going to the movies this afternoon. Going to see " Moonrise Kingdom" We saw the previews in Yuma. It looked cute. Can't be all bad with Bruce Willis and Bill Murray. So its playing right next door to Costco, will just have to force myself to go afterwords.
Saw "Moonrise Kingdom" yesterday. Funny, quirky, entertaining in some surprising ways. Puppy love and crazy, sad cops and Boy Scouts with weapons. Bill Murray's character was so laid back, he almost dissolved into the wallpaper, very unusual for Murray.
I have a weird taste for movies, but Moonrise Kingdom is really good. Ed Norton + Bruce Willis + Bill Murray. See it!
I overheard someone yesterday refer to Moonrise Kingdom as "the new Bill Murray movie." Kids these days...
Enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom, but really looking forward to Bill Murray as FDR in Hyde Park on Hudson:
I think we're going to see Moonrise Kingdom.looks unique and fantastic. Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton
Just saw "Moonrise Kingdom" - exceptional work from Wes Anderson, Roman Coppola, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, and crew. Please see this film. As a good friend put it "It's almost magical" Actually, it was.
Moonrise Kingdom was so good. Love Edward Norton and Bill Murray.
I saw a very strange movie yesterday called, "Moonrise Kingdom". Is it possible to love a movie, but hate the story? Technically, the film was wonderful in terms of HOW it was made. The direction was well planned and handled so creatively, the music was awesome - even the credits were quirky and fun. But, I didn't care for the storyline involving the two children. And, I thought people like Frances Mcdormand, Bill Murray, and Tilda Swinton were wasted. I would still give it a B/B+.
I saw Moonrise Kingdom this past Saturday with Margaret at the AMC @ 42nd street. First off, so many *** people outside! There were people walking in the street because it was easier to navigate. 42nd street is a madhouse on the weekends and I forgot how hot it can get with around 100 degree weather and so many people giving off heat too. I bought the tickets -$14 each! I can't believe I dropped almost $30 on tickets. It's been awhile since I've bought tickets at retail price since I tend to buy the Costco discount ones at $16 for a pair, or as my co-worker Kenny calls them my Jew tickets, but that's neither here nor there. Anyway, the movie was good. Bill Murray has really stepped up his acting game and he's a lot of fun to see on film these days. There were a few new movies they showed previews for that looked promising. Les Miserables was one, Hyde Park on the Hudson was another with Bill Murray as FDR, and there was Argo with Ben Affleck about the rescue of six U.S. diplomats from Tehran, I ...
Saw "Moonrise Kingdom" today with Liz Naughton, Nicole LeBlanc, Bill Zeeble and Barb & Bob Middendorf. What a great movie - funny, quirky, very well acted by both the famous "more mature actors" - Bruce Willis, Frances Mcdormand, Bill Murray and Ed Norton - and the younger, less known actors. Go see it - you'll have a great time!
Went to see Moonrise Kingdom--quirky little movie which we both thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Frances McDornand.see it!
Bill Murray boozed up on the set of 'Moonrise Kingdom'. Are you able to drag that thing into that bedroom set?
Saw "Moonrise Kingdom" last night. Great movie if you are a Wes Anderson fan - quirky, sweet, and magical. Plus, Bill Murray has a great role.
Mike and I just took the boys to see Moonrise Kingdom, which we all gave thumbs-up to. Funny, awkward-funny and unpredictable. Plus, Bill Murray and Bruce Willis!
"There is a scene in which Bill Murray throws his shoe at Ed Norton while Bruce Willis watches. See it." - My review of Moonrise Kingdom.
Came back a bit ago from seeing "Moonrise Kingdom". What a terrific movie. I'm not a huge Bruce Willis fan,but I may rethink that now. Tilda Swinton is fabulous and Bill Murray is great,as well. The best actors, though, were Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward. Two young kids with a very bright future ahead of them. I'm pretty sure that the writers HAD to go to Boy Scout summer camp at Camp Manatoc in Peninsula. Absolutely a must see.
Can't wait to see Moonrise Kingdom... Love all the Wes Anderson Movies.so original! And sooo funny! Plus any movie with Bill Murray is pure gold!!!
Everyone should go see Moonrise Kingdom. Great movie, listed as one of the best so far this year by many film critics. Starring Bruce Willis, Francis McDormand, Bill Murray, Edward Norton and Tilda Swinton. A funny and very touching love story between two fourteen year olds. I guarantee it will put a smile on your face :)
Go see Moonrise Kingdom. That's all I'll say. I'm a big Bill Murray fan, and he's great. Bruce Willis is great, Ed Norton is great.
Moonrise Kingdom finally in wide release. Wes Anderson has returned to form. I didn't care for Darjeeling Limited, but this one harkened back to Royal Tenenbaums which is my favorite of his. If you like quirky indies starring Bill Murray with aesthetically pleasing shot compositions go see it.
We went to the movies today to see Moonrise Kingdom. It was funny, cute and a little strange. We liked it alot. Slow beginning but picked up fast. Bruce Willis and Bill Murray were in this film.
Hey I am so wanting to see the movie "Moonrise Kingdom" -has anyone seen it? The cast is amazing and I love Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Ed Norton. It just looks like a must see and because it is being called the "Sleeper" of the summer makes it that much more appealing.
Am I the only one that wants to see Moonrise Kingdom? Because, Bill Murray, you guys...
Moonrise Kingdom was as awesome as I hoped it would be. Bill Murray and Bruce Willis did well together. Really good storyline too. Fun night.
Saw "Moonrise Kingdom" yesterday and enjoyed it a lot! It's quirky, but fun. Bruce Willis (didn't smirk once during the movie) and Bill Murray. Several more big names in the movie and two charming pre-teens who steal the show.
Eric's random movie recommendation: Moonrise Kingdom=Best movie of 2012 so far. Brilliant, funny. Bill Murray. See it.
Deb's Movie Reviews: This is my first week of unemployment and I decided to catch up on what's happening at the movies. So this week I went to three movies: 1) Seeking a Friend for the End of the World - this is billed as a "comedy" and stars Steve Carell & Keira Knightly. I cried throughout the entire movie it was so sad. How they could bill this as a comedy when the main characters both die at the end is beyond me. Of course, the title should have clued me in! 2) Snow White and the Woodsman - Lauren wanted to see this movie and it was pretty good. The storyline is good and the special effects are remarkable. I wouldn't say I loved it but I didn't cry through it. :) 3) Moonrise Kingdom - another "comedy" this one had a 4 star rating and Bruce Willis and Ed Norton in starring roles (Bill Murray's in it as well but I went anyway). This was set in the 60's and there were moments of nostalgia (with the old "record player" and plastic bound library books) that were entertaining but you're supposed ...
Went to see MOONRISE KINGDOM with a friend the other day -- a very unusual, totally delightful movie!! Delightful music, too! Bill Murray & Bruce Willis - sort of odd duffers with small parts. Thanks, Dian, for the treat.
Moonrise Kingdom yesterday, Broken Flowers this morning, and now Lost in Translation... coincidental Bill Murray marathon? Don't mind if I do ;)
We saw the movie Moonrise Kingdom last night. Quirky, fun. Loved Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand... Not sure what it all meant.
Review - Moonrise Kingdom: fun, fun, fun. Obviously quirky; I laugh just looking at Bill Murray. Go see it
I recommend the following movies. BRAVE; I'm sure Pixar will get technological awards for this animation. Incredible the way the heroine's hair moves, the water and other effects, not to mention a great story. The Celtic music was also great. The second movie you should see if you want laughs and a dark comedy, coming of age movie (mid 60's). We woke up this morning talking and re-laughing. MOONRISE KINGDOM: Very quirky, unpredictable, fun, great acting from Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton and a cast of character actors you will recognize. Go see it before it goes away. I recommend this movie for the Baby Boomers, especially.
Loved, loved, loved "Moonrise Kingdom." Edward Norton was the best scoutmaster ever and Bill Murray and Frances Mcdormand were great also. It was so quirky.
I really enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom, but should I be troubled by the fact that, every time Bill Murray came on screen, I thought, "I love his pants!"?
Moonrise Kingdom is so good. Bill Murray is still a pimp. Sarah Ehresman
"Moonrise Kingdom" had me on the edge of my seat ... ready to leave an hour before it was over. Turns out you can put Bill Murray and Ed Norton together and still make a bad movie. Who would have guessed? The movie could have made for a great short film. I should have known this one would have disappointed me because of my personal movie rule No. 8: If a movie has Bruce Willis in it, it is by definition a bad movie.
Saw a great movie tonight."Moonrise Kingdom".the kids are much smarter than the adults...including Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Frances Mcdormand, and others. Interesting story.
Saw a wonderful movie today ~ "Moonrise Kingdom" ~ from writers Wes Anderson & Roman Coppola. Wes directed this delightfully quirky and occasionally hilarious farce about a young boy (13 year old Jared Gilman) and girl (12 year old Kara Haywood) who fell in love and ran away (he from a Boy Scout camp, her from a dysfunctional home) in this their first movie ... and hit it clean out of the park. With a cast that included Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel & Bruce Willis, this is one to watch for at next year's Oscars. The veterans were great and the new young actor/actress in the lead roles were magnificent. Four Thumbs UP!
Ron and I loved Moonrise Kingdom with Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, and that woman who played in Fargo. I thought it was hilarious in a really subtle way.
suicideblonde: “ Bill Murray with Wes Anderson and Bruce Willis at the Cannes Film Festival photocall for Moonrise Kingdom, May 16th ” I know I posted Bill Murray already…but it’s Bill Murray in such...
Moonrise Kingdom was fantastic! Bruce Willis and Bill Murray were hilarious. Thank you, once again Wes Anderson :)
Getting some laundry done! Chuck and I are going to see "Moonrise Kingdom" today. They say Bruce Willis and Bill Murray are really good in it. Have not been to a movie in ages, and I used to be a regular!
The "kids" were out of the house so we chose to go see a movie in a nice air conditioned theatre... Moonrise Kingdom with Bill Murray, Edward Nortan, Frances Mcdormand, Tilda Swanson and a good cameo from Harvey Keitel... That cast alone tells you this is a good one and it did not disappoint. Laughing out loud, good moments, childhood memories... This is already on my "want to see again" list. Enjoy the heat, be safe!
Moonrise Kingdom, the quirky indie-esque film by Wes Anderson was, by far, the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. Aside from a great cast of Bill Murray, Frances Mcdormand and company, I ...
Shopping this afternoon in Richmond with Andrew and Emma. Saw the new movie, Moonrise Kingdom. Pretty good movie - Bill Murray funny as always, Bruce Willis in a different role. The whole story line kept you interested. Now it's raining & storming - hard to believe after the heat today. Still getting ready for markets in the morning - Mike is in the meat shop & can't get to the house because of the storm !! Hope the power stays on .
I bet "Moonrise Kingdom" is a scream! Bill Murray and Bruce Willis back on the screen.
Shout out to Bill Murray and Edward Norton in Moonrise Kingdom
Bill Murray just told me to go see his new movie MoonRise Kingdom, When God tells you something, directly, You DO it
The new Wes Anderson (Rushmore) movie Moonrise Kingdom looks quirky and cool - Ed Norton, Bruce Willis, and one of my all time favorites Bill Murray - Hopefully, a theater around here will pick it up...
I still have no idea what Moonrise Kingdom is about. But it's got Bruce Willis & Ed Norton, & Bill Murray told me to watch it. So I'm in.
Just saw Moonrise Kingdom. Wow. It's easy to make light of the depth of feelings of people much, much younger than you are, but this movie never does that. These children are amazing actors and remarkably well-directed. Everyone is good. Of course, I adore Bill Murray (in anything, I'll watch him read the phone book and laugh hard!) and Frances Mcdormand, and Edward Norton. And this may be my favorite Wes Anderson (but I said that after the Royal Tannenbaums). If you like laughing, go see it. "Don't let go." (Bruce Willis is also very, very good.) I loved this movie.
OMG, Bill Murray is in Moonrise Kingdom? Well, I have a surprise for someone when she gets back. ^__^
My wonderful son, Nick Nodurft treated me to Moonrise Kingdom today with Bill Murray and Bruce Willis. Its totally off the wall. We loved it. Most people might not. Nick and I were laughing so hard at one point we couldn't stop. Its extremely quirky. Ed Norton is in it. :)
Had a dream with Bill Murray and Frances Mcdormand. She gave a serious yet quirky monologue. My brain wants me to see Moonrise Kingdom.
I really wanna watch Moonrise Kingdom mainly because Bill Murray is gettin so old 😔
Alison and I saw Moonrise Kingdom the other night. It is the best movie we've seen in ages. Absolutely gorgeous and superbly cast with Bill Murray and a surprisingly great performance from Bruce Willis. The newbie kids in the film will be seen from now on too. 4 thumbs up from the Rainey's.
Go see Moonrise Kingdom. Wes Anderson's still got it, Bill Murray is amazing as always, and Bruce Willis was totally on as Captain Sharp. As Julie Ann said, I want to see this again. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen in years.
Moonrise Kingdom did not have enough Bill Murray!
We saw Moonrise Kingdom last night. A delightful movie about a young (13???) couple who runaway from her home and his scout camp set on a New England-like island in 1965. Tilda Swinton of Harry Potter fame and Jared Gilman play their roles so realistically and with so much poignancy and charm, hearts just melt. The cast is star-filled: Bruce Willis as the island's only police officer, Bill Murray & Francis McDormand as Tilda's lawyer parents, Edward Norton as the scout master, and even Harvey Keitel makes a a brief, but funny cameo appearance. It was co-written by Roman Coppola, so talent obviously runs in the family. Highly recommend.
Backlog of movie reviews. I have seen (amazingly) the following movies in the past month: The Avengers (liked), Prometheus (hated), Exotic Marigold Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Snow White and the Huntsman, Brave. Here are quick reviews Moonrise Kingdom Very typical Wes Anderson film. If you like him (which I do), you’ll like this. I typify him as a ‘hipster Mamet’. Stylized, languid dialogue, almost a still camera quality to his scene framing, great use of color artifacts. Fun, witty, two wonderful child actors. A fun visit to twisted, bucolic 60s nostalgia. Only disappointment was Bill Murray and Frances Mcdormand; two actors I typically love, but really didn’t do much. Highly recommended. On DS scale -3. Brave Ineke and I really liked this one. Silvernail was ‘meh’. A great film for mothers and daughters to see, as it has that great relationship at the heart. Some guys struggle with it, because it seems woman can better handle the traditional boy/dad stuff in Pixar/Disney films than the converse ...
Review of Moonrise Kingdom with Bill Murray (one of my favorites) Chk it out!
Im stoked about ’Moonrise Kingdom’. How do u go wrong with Wes Anderson and Bill Murray?
I'm usually not one to judge a movie by its trailer, but "Moonrise Kingdom" looks really good. I enjoy Bruce Willis in odd roles. And whenever Bill Murray finds a slightly dark and quirky role (Rushmore) you never know what to expect.
Saw "Moonrise Kingdom" on Sunday. What a great film. Bill Murray and Bruce Willis are in it, but the young actors deserve the credit for its success.
Video: Bill Murray hosted Tour of Moonrise Kingdom. You're gonna wanna watch this.
Yesterday, I saw Moonrise Kingdom. I recommend it. It has Bruce Willis and Bill Murray. Also, Edward Norton and Frances Mcdormand.
I feel like if I tried hard enough, I could get a best friend that was a ghost and he would haunt the people I don't like. I'm afraid he would get jealous though and start killing my friends and family. Then, when I beggged him to stop and told him I can't just know him because he is a ghost and I am alive, he would try and kill me. Then, I would call Bill Murray, but he would be too busy on the set of Moonrise Kingdom or whatever it is called, and I would have to settle with the others. Then, they would cross the beams, and it would backfire and kill them. Finally, my ex-best friend would realize that he now had more ghostbusters friends and stop attacking and when they all became friends, I would pick up a laser thing and shoot them. So, after looking at the conclusion, I think I am going to stay with alive friends. P.S. I hate contractions.
Two Thumbs up for "Moonrise Kingdom", Bill Murray, Ed Norton, Bruce Willis (That's right, Bruce Willis) and that chick from "Fargo" (sorry). Perfect. An hour and a half long, no car chases, no super heroes, no gun play, minimum blood (Hilarious)
Anyone seen Moonrise Kingdom? Bill Murray is in it, it has to be good.
Spoilers: There's a point in Moonrise Kingdom where Bill Murray throws a shoe at Ed Norton. Worth admission just for that.
Funny, fresh, weird and wonderful, Wes Anderson's latest concoction, "Moonrise Kingdom," takes us back to 1965 and the hunt for two runaways with Bruce Willis, Edward Norton and Bill Murray.
"Holy Christ!.What am I looking at?". God I love Bill Murray and man Moonrise Kingdom was fantastic!
Bill Murray takes you on a special tour of the set of Moonrise Kingdom in Newport Rhode Island. In select theatres.
Eager to see again / Wes Anderson on 'Moonrise Kingdom', First Loves, and Cohabitating with Bill Murray via
Okay, the Moonrise Kingdom trailer where Bill Murray is talking about who's in the movie is pretty *** funny.
Off to pay tribute to a National Treasure, Bill Murray, in "Moonrise Kingdom". Must check in at over 27 social networking sites.
View photos from Moonrise Kingdom (2012) with Bill Murray, pictured as Walt Bishop, on IMDb!
Man, I love me some Bill Murray, but I thought I saw Jason Schwartzman in the commercial for "Moonrise Kingdom." You know that means it'll be like "Rushmore" or "The Royal Tenenbaums," and I'd just want to throw my popcorn at the screen. Mister Murray, call up Andie MacDowell and Chris Elliott, or Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis. See what they're up to and quit doing the artsy-fartsy movies.
Wes Anderson's most recent film Moonrise Kingdom, is a delightful tale about love and innocence. Starring some of the traditional Anderson crew; Bill Murray and

Amazing onset photos and portraits including Bill Murray and the androgynous fox that is Tilda Swindon!
Who wants to go see moonrise kingdom with me. It will be an adventure. It's playing in very few theatres. Has a some awesome actors like Bill Murray, Edward Norton, and Bruce Willis.
Saw Moonrise Kingdom. They need to make a tie-in line of Valentine Cards that shows either Bill Murray or Frances Mcdormand saying, "Counselor," for the people you respect but aren't really that into and then one of the kids asking, "What kind of Bird are you?" for the people you totally want to run away with.
Moonrise Kingdom was a mix between Royal Tenenbaums and Peter Pan, and it referred to so many things I'm sentimental about. I thought they should have given Frances Mcdormand and Bill Murray way more screentime. If you want to see it, let me know, because I was seated next to an obnoxious, loud cackler so I need a do-over asap.
Moonrise Kingdom was spectacular. I had nearly forgotten how great Bill Murray, Edward Norton & dat Jason Schwartzman are.
If I haven't mentioned Moonrise Kingdom yet; a must see great hysterically funny movie. So great I coughed up a lung laughing, and WAS in a good mood until my very last group of patrons on Friday! May see it again, and willl buy when it comes on on DVD. Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton..perfect movie.
Moonrise kingdom was great. I recommend it to all. Plus Bill Murray is in it and everyone knows you can't go wrong with Bill Murray
The trailer for the new Wes Anderson movie, "Moonrise Kingdom," has arrived, and it has everything you've come to expect from a Wes Anderson movie. Bill Murray: check.
Moonrise Kingdom was every bit of heaven as I had hoped. Edward Norton & Bill Murray w/ Hank Williams Sr. playing in the background. Ah.
Moonrise Kingdom conundrum: On the one hand, it has Bill Murray, so I should probably avoid it. On the other had, no movie with Bruce Willis can be all bad. What is a poor geezer to do?
Moonrise Kingdom looks amazing, Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, Bill Murray, & Tilda Swinton why havent I heard of this movie b4 now?
I wanna see Moonrise Kingdom. Edward Norton and Bill Murray can't go wrong there.
Just saw a preview for Moonrise Kingdom and Bill Murray walks out with a bottle of beer in one hand and a hatchet in the other and says "I'm going to find a tree to chop down," is someone selling stories from our lives?
Moonrise Kingdom, a film with Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, and Bill Murray. Why have I not heard more?
Overheard at the Moonrise Kingdom screening: "If I could be anyone, I would be Bill Murray." Amen brother!
Moonrise Kingdom is adorable. Bill Murray is the perfect punchline. I love how Wes Anderson portrays violence.
Moonrise Kingdom was excellent. Ed Norton, Bruce Willis and Bill Murray were all great. Well done Wes Anderson!
Two things that rarely fare well in Wes Anderson movies: dogs and Bill Murray. That said, I'm so in love with Moonrise Kingdom.
I saw Moonrise Kingdom today. This was a really warm, human film. While Wes Anderson is still his "quirky" self, he definitely takes the two main kids (Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman, both great) very seriously. Anderson's eye for detail in both his visual and narrative is at its best here. There's a real fairy-tale quality to the movie that reminded me a bit of Fantastic Mr. Fox - on the surface, it may almost look like a simple children's tale, but the emotions run deep. As for the adults, they're all good, though I was most charmed by Edward Norton's eagerly nerdy scoutmaster. However, late in the game Frances Mcdormand and Bill Murray have a scene where they talk about their marriage that's just terrific. Both do great work throughout, though. Bruce Willis is fine, and Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, and Harvey Keitel are all funny in, essentially, extended cameos. It's really the kids' show, though. Theirs, and Anderson's. Oh, and if you like the film, stay for the whole credits. You won't regret it
Bill Murray’s behind the scenes tour of Moonrise Kingdom. Classic.
“Here I am in a cardigan sweater, sitting here in Newport, Rhode Island, living la vida loca,” Bill Murray (above) says in introduction to the Wes Anderson film “Moonrise Kingdom,” which premiered May 25. The Rhode Island Film & TV Office would like you to know it “was filmed entirely in the Ocean S...
Watched W Anderson oeuvre this week in prep 4 Moonrise Kingdom in T minus 90 @ Tivoli. Expecting great soundtrack & slo mo Bill Murray.
Moonrise Kingdom...look it up. Bill Murray and Edward Norton...I'd link it myself but my computer *** donkey balls and won't let me. I will see this in a heartbeat. Your thoughts?
There are obvious stars in director Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom”: Bill Murray as the cantankerous patriarch, Edward Norton as the earnest but scattered Khaki Scout leader, and a tightly wound Tilda Swinton as the terse child-welfare worker. But nearly stealing the movie out from under them is A...
The much-awaited Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom has now been released! -->Bill Murray does a set tour here--->
Bill Murray "livin' the vida loca" on the set of Moonrise Kingdom. A must watch!:
