other parents: how do I explain LGBTQ+ to my kids!?. me: How do I explain Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Sigourney Weaver…
Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd & Ernie Hudson all had great cameos. I gasped when Sigourney Weaver did hers. She looks fantastic!
Because I just looked up the cast list, Bill Murray is playing 'Martin Heiss'. Ernie Hudson is 'Uncle Bill', Dan Akroyd is 'cabbie'.
Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and John Candy used to make the best comedies. Nothing comes close to that period.
Hope tonight's episode is as funny as the classic 1978 episode aired beforehand! I loved Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, and Gilda Radner!
Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd having cameos in the new Ghostbusters movie isn't going to make me want to see it. Nice attempt, though.
Bill Murray to appear in Ghostbusters reboot. I think this is good news? Dan Akroyd too.
Not only did Dan Akroyd shoot a scene for the new Ghostbusters reboot but Bill Murray will make an appearance too!
Dan Akroyd & Bill Murray are now confirmed for Ghostbusters. What about
IMO Dan Akroyd should play stuffy police chief, Bill Murray should be EPA agent, Ernie Hudson should be Mayor in the new
Norm McDonald, Jim Carrey, Jane Curtin, Melissa Mccarthy, Dan Akroyd, Steve Martin, and Bill Murray were are on point for sure.
We need a movie starring Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd, and Martin Short. Get it done Hollywood.
Watching Old School SNL episodes with Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Garrett Morris and the legend, John Belushi!
Oh no, wait – not Bill Murray. Either Dan Akroyd or Eddie Murphy.
As much as I love Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase, I will never "get" Saturday Night Live episodes from the 70s.
Favorite SNL character is Dan Akroyd as the refrigerator repairman. So funny with Gilda Radner and Bill Murray.
It's not even Ghostbusters without Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd? Melissa Mccarthy is just going to be the same character she is in every movie
they all start out in standup. Whoopi, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Dan Akroyd, Ben Stiller, Bill Murray, etc
Apologies… it wasn't Bill Murray:. it was Kim Bassinger and Dan Akroyd.
Thirty years ago a movie was released that helped define the childhood of a generation. The film had everything: action, comedy, a smattering of romance, intelligent heroes, ghosts, and a Sumerian deity. Today that film turns thirty. A big thank you to Ivan Reitman, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Morranis, and Robyn Shelby for making childhood awesome for us. Happy 30th Ghostbusters! We're still ready to believe you!
Bill Murray is a genius as well as Dan Akroyd
Oh and now I'm on a mission for the Ghostbusters aka Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and Harold Remis.
Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray together again in Ghostbusters 2 WOW
Watch Comedy legends, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Rick Moranis in Now on VH1Classic.
I don't think John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, and Bill Murray could be wrong.
Dan Akroyd better come out with Bill Murray and do a musical number for Harold Ramis.
Bill Murray looks like when Dan Akroyd played the Judge in "Nothing But Trouble"
Steve Martin, Bill Murray, and Dan Akroyd walk into the bar I happen to be in. I die.
Best SNL members of all time are Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, & Will Ferrell
RIP Harold Ramis. One of my childhood heroes along with Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray.
*** happy to be off work then check the buzz and find out Harold Ramis passed away today :( *** what a great comedic mind of the past couple generations, from Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd to the new era and Judd Apatows gang. He acted in some and directed quite a few classics. We will miss you Egon, RIP
I have to acknowledge the death of Harold Ramis today. He was one of the original "funny men" with Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, John Candy, Chevy Chase, etc. in "my day". He was so naturally funny, extremely talented as a director and producer. He'll be sadly missed, but never forgotten!
SNL has created some of the biggest celebrities in Pop culture. Lorne Michaels is more than a genius. Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrel, Mike Myers, Bill Murray, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Senator Al Franken, Chris Farley, Kirsten Wiig, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Seth Myers, Martin Short, Tim Meadows, Phil Hartman, John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Molly Shannon, Mya Rudolph, Chris Kattan... infinity I can keep going but you get me!!
Does anybody remember when " Deep thoughts by Jack Handey" were on Saturday Night Live! I have always thought that show was sooo funny! This makes me feel old, but I remember when Dan Akroyd, John Belushey and Bill Murray were on there. My mom would even watch it.Anyway, I think Deep thoughts was on Around the time that Phil Hartman was on, but not sure (RIP- he was great!)Anyway, I still have two of those books they printed with the funny sayings. They are all dry and sarcastic, but it was the way he used a soothing voice when he said them, made them all the more funnier, so... I decided I am going to start posting some for a good laugh! Hope some of you remember those. Here is the first one." If you are being chased by an angry bull, and then you notice you're also being chased by a swarm of bees, it doesn't really change things.Just keep on running." Lol. From the book " The Lost Deep thoughts(Don't fight the deepness) by Jack Handey.
If you don't like Harold Ramis, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, & Bill Murray & know how they connect, I don't know if I can trust you.
I haven't watched the original Ghostbusters in probably more than a decade. So horrible and so amazing all at the same time. Four words... Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd. Perfection.
Also watched SNL 25th anniversary and I must say I would of dated a young Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, and Bill Murray.
At first this reminded Random of when Dan Akroyd showed Ecto 1 to Bill Murray for the first time... But then the...
Okay, I really don't wanna do it, but if someone wants to trade a top Ghostbuster Item I am looking for or SuperNaturals stuff.I have for trade an 8x10 picture of Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and Harold Ramis in front of the firehouse from the first movie...it is Autographed by Dan Akroyd then also he signed "Ghosts!!!" after his signature. Comes with Certificate Of Authenticity
I just finished watching Ghost Busters for my first time! Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray were so great in the 80s. Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd came up with great original stuff.
Here's a question for the old school comedy fans. .out of the three..who was the best, bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd... my vote is Bill Murray. ..he Is still.funny. .. feel free to chime in!
I'm getting involved with Second City for the comedic songwriting class. Yes THE Second City in Chicago where comedic legends like Tina Fey, Mike Myers, Dan Akroyd, Stephen Colbert, Bill Murray and the late but great John Belushi have attended. I can't wait for this!!
I've seen GHOSTBUSTERS, but didn't remember the actors' names, other than Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd.
WHO WINS THIS BATTLE? To me, the 3 best casts of Saturday Night Live was the original few seasons (Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Gilda Radner, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Garrett Morris), early 90's cast (Chris Rock, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Spade, Rob Schneider) and the mid to late 90's cast (Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Tim Meadows, Norm McDonald, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, Darrell Hammond). Who wins in those 3 eras? I would love to put the Eddie Murphy era but during that time he was the funniest on there by far! There was also Martin Short and Julia Louis-Dryfuss. FYI: Did you know that Damon Waynes and Anthony Michael Hall was on SNL for a season?
They cause the mayan apocalypse but the goodness of Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray prevented it. They are the true agent of the light
Ghostbusters is on Netflix.I can't think of any movie that more encapsulates the 80's. Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd.
I know it's not thanksgiving day yet...but I am thankful for the 1980's. The Steve Martin, Rick Morranis, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Mel "the legend" Brooks, Leslie Nielsen, Tom Hanks era that just keeps right on giving. I would give anything just to have been an extra in Ghost Busters.
i am going to make a bold statement. The three funniest actors of the 1980s is hands down and not necessarily in this order: Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, and Tom Hanks. just watched Dragnet (1987) for the first time in ages and its HILARIOUS. that is all. go back to your lives.
someone go get me Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd, I NEED SOME GHOSTBUSTERS
Kim Jong Un is friends with Dennis Rodman, who played on the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan, who was in Space Jam with Bill Murray, who was in Ghostbusters with Dan Akroyd, who was in Blues Brothers with John Belushi, who was in Animal House with Kevin Bacon. Bam.
Dan Akroyd: Everything was fine till Dickless here turned off the power grid. Mayor: Is that true? Bill Murray: Yes, this man has no *** (name that movie)
Dan Akroyd is the coolest guy ever, besides Bill Murray. Holy crap I wanna be on SNL.
It's basically the worst film of the 80's. Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd are terrible in it. Not funny.
No way :O if Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd are in it..then its a sure hit !
So I'm looking through names to make a small appearance in our film. I can't believe all of my childhood heroes are pushing 60 years old and beyond. My god where has the time went. Dan Akroyd, Kevin Costner, Michael Keaton, Bill Murray, to name a few. Look up some of your heroes, their old!
Ghost Busters Lunchbox. Inside were the remains of Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson's careers.
The sooner Bill Murray dies, the sooner Dan Akroyd can hire Andy Serkis to mocap a CGI ghost Venkman in “Ghostbusters 3”.
Ghostbusters on Netflix, Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd at their best
One Saturday afternoon the summer I was 16, a couple of friends and I were sitting on a bench in our hometown of Kilkenny, smoking cigarettes and enduring the agreeable boredom of one another's company, when the actor Bill Murray materialised on the other side of the street, wearing shorts and a T-s...
Its official! Ghostbusters 3 will begin filming later this year! For those who aren't fanatics, Dan Akroyd has been wanting to start it for years but Bill Murray has held out. For some reason, Bill wasn't a big fan of Ghostbusters 2 so he has been hesitant. But Dan got a call from Bill at like 3am a couple months ago and said, "Ok, im in". It will start filming sometime this summer and Dan spilled what it will involve. It's gonna have something to do with particle physics at Columbia University. Im totally siked. I've been waiting 20+ years for this.
''I'm a zit. Geddit?'' How do you describe John Belushi? A ball of built up energy? A self destructive genius? A force that could not be contained? Many people have tried to explain the essance of Belushi but the words that best describe him come from brother Jim. ''Man, he was just a real funny guy.'' Coming to prominence in the original Saturday Night Live line up along side the likes of Dan Akroyd, Chevy Chase and Bill Murray, the ''Not Ready For Prime Time'' players all went on to be some of the funniest, groundbreaking comics of the 1980s and none were funnier than John Belushi. If SNL introduced the world to the larger than life Belushi his roles in Animal House and Blues Brothers made him a household name. But it came at a tragic cost.Few lived the life of excess that epitomized the 80s more than Belushi. His party antics are legendary. He truely believed the booze and cocaine were the key to keeping his enormous creative juices flowing. Then when he started on heroin it seemed only a matter of tim ...
Listened to author, writer and producer Alan Zweibel give the keynote address at the Tucson Festival of Books Authors' Dinner! Amazing stories about his time as one of the first writers for Saturday Night Live. He worked with the many of the original cast members including his BFF Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, John Belushi, Dan Akroyd and producer Lorne Michaels! Had us all laughing out loud at some of his life stories and the skits/characters he created including the Mrs. Ed skit (i.e., Mr. Ed the horse's widow), the Samurai for John Belushi and Roseanna Roseannadanna for Gilda! Memorable evening!
I believe the best group of Saturday Night Live comedians came from the late 70's and early 80's era. Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, and the great John Belushi were the best. Only the cast of IN LIVING COLOR can come close.
Last night I dreamt I met Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray because there was a strange glowing plasma in the sky and they were ghostbusting.
Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd. I cannot name their characters. Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis are in it, too!
Dan Akroyd as Fred Garvin from the original cast of SNL...Fred was a happless ineffective/unsuccessful male escort... it was classic TV. I remember thinking it was pretty risque that a television skit would actually have the word "prostitute" in the title.and then when Mr. Akroyd showed his "butt-crack" as a refrigertator repairman (with Gilda Radner as Lisa Lubner, and Bill Murray as Todd)...it was all our 8th grade class could talk about the following Monday at school!!! Ah...those were the days when only our comedians pretended to be male escorts and showed their hinies for a laugh!! Now it seems to be the fashion statement of the younger generation. I guess what I'm saying is, "Kids.please pull your pants up...your waist is a terrible thing to neglect, and the only time you should ignore it is if you are on SNL and getting laughs when you do!"
6 Degrees to Kevin Bacon:beginning with Arnold Swarzanegger 1.Arnie was in Batman and Robin with Uma Thurman. 2.Uma was in Kill bill with Lucy Liu. 3.Lucy was in Charlies Angels with Bill Murray. 4.Bill was in ghostbusters with Dan Akroyd. 5.Dan was in Blues Brothers with John Belushi 6.Belushi was in Animal House with Kevin Bacon
Here's to hoping Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray bust into my building with their plutonium packs.
It still blows my mind to see everyone smoking cigarettes in 80s movies. Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, jon Travolta...
hopefully it's a cool one like Casper. Then I can call up Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis to save me
*** I wish they thought ahead and got the old cast back together to shoot a "Ghostbusters: Zombie Apocalypse" movie for this 12/21/12 "end of the world" prophesy. Bill Murray & Dan Akroyd would do the movie industry some good right about now.
When I awoke, I was in the middle of a dream about meeting Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd. It was a sad moment when I realized it was a dream.
April just caught what might be her new favorite movie. It has Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and they sing "Go mustard!" at the end
Who ya' gonna' call?? Answer is.I don't know.Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray are both retired.and Sigourney Weaver has stopped taking my calls.so you tell me.who am I gonna' call?
I thought that Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, John Belushi, Lorraine Newman and Rosanne Rosannadana were the only members of Not Ready for Primetime Players
Here's what I lay awake thinking about at 5:00 am when I couldn't fall back to sleep. I thought maybe the exercise would restore the "z"s. John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Garrett Morris, Bill Murray, Al Franken, Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, Billy Crystal, Martin Short, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nealon, Mike Meyers, Chris Farley, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, David Spade. . . . OK, Gilda Radner, Jane Curtin, Laraine Newman, Christine Ebersole, Nora Dunn, Julia Sweeny, Jan Hooks, Victoria Jackson . . .That's all I got; so then I re-organize them alphabetically, . . .then "dead" vs "alive," then organize by mode of death: "Dead by natural causes," "death by drug overdose," "death by murder," and "not really dead, but no one knows them any more. . . " I did not return to sleep.
Saturday Night Live has gone through a lot of changes over the years and I realize Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Adam Sandler and Phil Hartman aren't showing up to
So because Bill Murray refuses to star or appear in Ghostbusters 3 and Dan Akroyd is taking too long to develop the story... Ivan Reitman is thinking about just rebooting the film franchise. Hm aye or nay?
I don't know I just can't get into Sat Night Live I try every year to watch but its just stupid to me...I guess cuz I grew up with SNL cast John Belushi ,Gilda Radner, Dan Akroyd, Eddie Murphy ,Garrett Morris, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Jane Curtain , newer Dana Carvey ,Chris Farley...I miss Oh No Mr Bill...
My Childhood may come back to me with a sequel! I hope its good! It's official Dan Akroyd interview this morning announced he is reading a script written by the creator of Men In Black for a GhostBusters Sequel. Sadly no Bill Murray but fingers crossed :)

I don't know much about much, but I'm pretty sure Dan Akroyd shows up on Bill Murray's cell phone as Avoid Me.
'Ghostbusters 3' will not feature Bill Murray as Peter Venkman. Let's stop this madness by telling Dan Akroyd
Dan Akroyd says that Peter Venkman himself - Bill Murray - won't be involved with Ghostbusters 3, and discusses start date.
As long as they light the torch by getting Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd to cross the streams then the £27 million budget will be justified. That or burn George Osbourne in a Wicker Man to restart the economy.
Last I heard was Ivan Reitman and Dan Akroyd were working on a script and Bill Murray was down to do it. *crosses fingers*
This is a Deleted Scene from Ghostbusters. Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd play bums walking through central park discussing politics and such when Rick Morranis ...
dude this takes me back like way back to the 1st Ghosbusters movie with Dan Akroyd & Bill Murray
One time I met Bill Murray walking on the street of New York. He said Dan Akroyd hates children, and Harold Ramis is a unrepentant racist. Then he put me in a headlock and gave me a noogie. He let me go and said "no one will ever believe you." True story.
Man, I love me some Bill Murray, but I thought I saw Jason Schwartzman in the commercial for "Moonrise Kingdom." You know that means it'll be like "Rushmore" or "The Royal Tenenbaums," and I'd just want to throw my popcorn at the screen. Mister Murray, call up Andie MacDowell and Chris Elliott, or Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis. See what they're up to and quit doing the artsy-fartsy movies.
Doesn't get much better than Bill Murray & Dan Akroyd "I got a date with a ghost"
I wanna see Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd at next year! And Pilkington and Gervais for England
Dreamt I had a meeting w/ Bill Murray to pitch him a movie. He said they already made Ghostbusters2.Also couldn't remember Dan Akroyd's name

Question of the Day: The Internet Movie Database is reporting that Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Akroyd and the...
Ghostbusters- seriously one of the most hilarious movies of all time. I hope no one tries to remake this movie. No one can replace the humor or presence of Bill Murray or Dan Akroyd!
Is it just me, or are Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd the only 2 80's comedians who didn't turn out to be huge d-bags as they got older?
wonders whatever happened to the like of Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, and Dan Akroyd...could plain old silly make a comeback please?
please do. You'll be met by Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and that black dude.
you're talking about the show that birthed STARS fam. Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Jim Bellushi, Will Ferrel, Chris Farley,
Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd in the 80's ..funniest duo on screen. Lol
Watching old SNL episodes. Basically watching Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray and co on an acid trip!
SNL not as good since Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Gilda Radner & Bill Murray split.
Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Paul Schafer, ummm, ummm.that's all I got right now :( man, that's lame :/ gotta study up!
Dan Akroyd says 'Ghostbusters 3' is moving forward, but Bill Murray is a question mark.
'Ghostbusters 3' is coming, Dan Akroyd promises. But will Bill Murray be left out?
'Ghostbusters 3' could still happen but depends on Bill Murray, says Dan Akroyd
Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, John Candy, Steve Martin... That's an era of classic comedy that comedians will NEVER come close to.
