Bill Murray was a hilarious scene stealer. Chevy Chase was supposed to be the star, but Murray and Dangerfield won
Caddyshack costars Bill Murray and Chevy Chase got into a fistfight moments before shooting an SNL episode.
No, seriously, Craig Shoemaker sounds like a good guy and almost as funny as Chevy Chase or Bill Murray.
The original 'Caddyshack' with Chevy Chase and Bill Murray is one of the best comedie

Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and John Candy used to make the best comedies. Nothing comes close to that period.
brilliant. But go in with an open mind. Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield. Ahead of its time.
Julie Klausner slipped in a reference to Bill Murray's famous Chevy Chase insult in the SNL episode of
I feel as if Bill Murray and Chevy Chase had formed a team in their prime, they could've had what you and Tim have
This interview with Dangerfield, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Ted Knight is the most awkward thing I've seen.
Bill Murray and Chevy Chase were considered too skinny for the role of Fred Flinstone
Chevy Chase, Dan Ackroyd, and Bill Murray have not aged well. Chris Farley was great. No there either.
Feeling kinda Chevy Chase lately. Need to get in touch with my Bill Murray before I go all Dan Ackroyd.
Seth Myers is my husband, Bill Murray is my dad, and Chevy Chase is my fun uncle
Honestly I'm trying to chief with Chevy Chase and Bill Murray at the same *** time
Were former SNL alum such as Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy and Chevy Chase starstruck when you showed up to the reunion?
As much as I love Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase, I will never "get" Saturday Night Live episodes from the 70s.
Watched "Caddy Shack" for the first time; & no complaints on the looks of young Bill Murray or Chevy Chase.😍⛳️
Rodney Dangerfield is my grandpa, John Belushi is my uncle, Chevy Chase is my dad, and I am Bill Murray.
In 1977, Bill Murray was a rookie on "Saturday Night Live" -- a little-known 26-year-old who replaced fan favorite Chevy Chase. Several episodes in, Murray sat in front of the camera to make an unusual apology: He wasn't good on the show, and he knew it. The three-minute confession to audiences was,…
I am doing nothing else with my life other than watching Leslie Nielsen, Bill Murray, Steve Martin and Chevy Chase movies

Dan Aykroyd (7/01/1952 - ) was born in Ottawa, Canada. He is an actor and comedian known for his performances on Saturday Night Live, and in the hit films The Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters. He was born with different colored eyes and webbed toes, and planned on becoming a Catholic priest until he turned 17. In 1975, Aykroyd helped make television history when he became part of the original cast of the late night-comedy program Saturday Night Live. He delighted audiences with his skilled impersonations of the likes of President Jimmy Carter, talk show host Tom Snyder and TV chef Julia Child. Aykroyd acted and co-wrote the script for the humorous supernatural blockbuster Ghostbusters. The movie also starred Bill Murray and Harold Ramis, and the trio reprised their roles as ghost-hunting scientists in the 1989 sequel. Aykroyd worked with fellow SNL alum Chevy Chase in 1985's Spies Like Us. In 1989, he took on more serious fare with a supporting role in the drama Driving Miss Daisy; Aykroyd received an Aca ...
One of the great things about living so long in this area is that you got to meet some of the big names because back in the 50's and 60's everyone was very approachable. It was not uncommon to run into and get to talk to the Webb's, Rutland's, Wedding's, Eckerd's, Doc Cole, Jenkin's folk from Publix, basically the mover and shakers of the 'Burg at that time. Even the celebrities (sports and entertainment) have always been approachable here... The big names like Ron Howard, Robert Altman, James Garner, Maureen Stapleton, Wilfred Brimley, Mickey Mantle, Ozzie Smith, Ceasar Romero, Gary Burgoeff, Lauren Bacall, Clayton Moore, Garret Morris, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, just to name a few. Not name dropping but thinking out loud about how people seem to slow down a bit once they got here and how they just would blend into the crowd so easily. Truly a great area to grow up in
Watching "A Tribute to Don Rickels" on Spike TV. HilArious stuff. When things were funny and you didn't have to be politically correct and made fun of all people. Many comedians of color have said he is one of the greats. Gets me thinking about some recent news events: shootings, protests and etc... Growing up when I did watching comics like Don't Rickels, Richard Pryor, Johnny Carson, Bill Cosby, Sam Kinneson and others, watching westerns and movies like Porkys, Revenge of the Nerds, anything with Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Jim Belushi and other funny men and women. And yet I never had any desire to shoot and kill people, take people out, cause violence to others, or any number of things people do today because they can't handle things in their lives. I know that I have issues in my life, and don't always make the right decisions, but I do know I have a saviour and Lord in my life that sees through the all the clutter and junk and loves for who I am. Maybe if we (the Church) was more loving ...

You absolutely need to go get a movie called Caddy Shack.classic! Bill Murray and Chevy Chase.
Bill Murray, John Travolta and Chevy Chase turned down the role of Forrest Gump. Travolta later admitted that passing on the role was a mistake. Terry Gilliam and Barry Sonnenfeld turned down the chance to direct the film. David Alan Grier, Ice Cube and Dave Chappelle turned down the role of Bubba. Chappelle thought the movie would bomb, and has since admitted to deeply regretting not taking the role. The Bayou le Batre hospital named after Forrest Gump is actually the University of South Carolina - Beaufort Performing Arts Center. The Vietnam scenes of the film were shot on what is now the Ocean Creek Golf Course on Fripp Island, SC. Gary Sinise's lower legs were wrapped in a special blue fabric that allowed them to be digitally removed later. Tom Hanks' younger brother Jim Hanks doubled for him in many of his numerous running sequences. Tom Hanks signed onto the film after an hour and a half of reading the script but agreed to take the role only on the condition that the film was historically accurate. ...
So you think you may have made a bad decision or two in your life...Don't feel too bad. Check out these Hollywood stars who have passed on some pretty big roles: Molly Ringwald, Meg Ryan, Michelle Pfeiffer and Darryl Hannah all passed on Pretty Women. Molly Ringwald also passed on Ghost John Travolta, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase all passed on Forrest Gump. Travolta also passed on Apollo 13 Matthew Broderick passed on playing Walter White in Break Bad. Michelle Pfeiffer passed on playing Clarice Starling in Silence of the Lambs. Will Smith passed on playing in the Matrix Movies and Tom Selleck passed on the Indiana Jones franchise.
Any 1980's to early 90's movie with Gene Wilder , Richard Pryor ,John Cusack, John Candy, Tom Hanks, Chevy Chase or Bill Murray in them are some of the best comedies and absolutely brilliant.
Okay, so we all love the movie "Stripes" with Bill Murray and Harold Ramis (god rest his soul), right? And furthermore we all love the movie "In The Army Now" with Pauly Shore and Andy *** Hear me out... How about "In The Army Now 2: in the Army Again" featuring Bill Murray as Pauly Shore's character "Bones Conway" and Chevy Chase (in place of Harold Ramis) as Andy *** s character "Jack Kaufman"? It's perfect right? I know, I know, I think Murray could pull off both roles in a kind of Lindsay Lohan "Parent Trap" thing, but he is getting up there in age. Anywho, the best part is David Alan Grier could play his same character, "Fred Ostroff". I would like your input, please.
If I want a laugh, I turn to the likes of Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Dan Ackroyd and others
Bill Murray's brilliance: Mid-brawl, hurling the insult "Medium talent!" at Chevy Chase. Truth cuts deeper than hyperbole.
Just watched the "Making of Caddyshack" on Bio. I always KNEW that the chick playing Lacey Underalls had no idea of what Chevy Chase was going to do in the apartment scene. She was not a good actress and her realistic reactions in that scene were a dead giveaway. I did not know the entire "Cinderella Story" scene was improvised by Bill Murray.
I have to say it-aside from Rodney Dangerfield's one-liners Caddyshack sucked. Chevy Chase and Bill Murray are about as funny as cancer.
Harold Ramis' first film as a director was this country club farce, one of the cornerstones of 1980s comedies. The cast includes Chevy Chase, Ted Knight, Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray.
Best SNL members of all time are Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, & Will Ferrell
I just want to take a second to remember a very funny actor and comedian that we lost. I feel like he did not get the recognition he so truly deserves. With that being said here is my goodbye to one of the all time greats. Harold Ramis passed away on feb 24 2014. You all may not know him by his real name, most just referred to him as Egon. Harold acted, directed, written or, stared in some all time classics. Films that made you laugh and cry. Moives that you could not wait to see again or still to this day own. Great Moives that people can still repeat lines too in everyday conversation. Moives like Knocked Up, As Good as It Gets, Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Stripes, Animal House, Year One, The Office, The Ice Harvest, Analyze This, Analyze That, National Lampoon's Vacation, Groundhog Day, and the great caddyshack. Harold acted along side or directed for some of the greats like Bill Murray, John Candy, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Seth Rogen, Jack Black, John C. Reilly, Ro ...
Favorite!! I love the gopher dance. Bill Murray at his best! Chevy Chase too. All time classic, have to watch it ANY and EVERY time I see it. And I own it... packed in a box with the rest of my life.
Bill Murray and Chevy Chase scenes together in "Caddyshack" are golden.
Harold Ramis age 69 the famous actor of Ghostbusters and writer and producer of many funny movies has died on 2/24/2014. He passed away from autoimmune vasculitis which is a product of Lupus. I have the same condition that is destroying the tissues of my legs at this time. It is being fought very aggressively in my case and I am sure it was in his case as well. He passed from a blood clot formed by the problem. Which proves no matter how much blood thinner a patient is on they will still form and can be very deadly. He leaves is wife a daughter and two sons. He brought a new comedy that launched the careers of Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi, Tim Matheson, John Candy, Chevy Chase, and many more. He was the writer for “Animal House” which began a series of truly funny movies. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family and all his friends.
I have to acknowledge the death of Harold Ramis today. He was one of the original "funny men" with Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, John Candy, Chevy Chase, etc. in "my day". He was so naturally funny, extremely talented as a director and producer. He'll be sadly missed, but never forgotten!
RIP Harold Ramis. I just posted a funny picture that made me laugh for a couple of seconds. This guy wrote, directed, and acted in comedies that not only made my laugh till my ribs hurt and provided enough memorable quotes to last a few lifetimes. They said what made him a true genius was even though he wrote and directed Caddyshack he knew when to let funny people improvise and make a funny scene even funnier. Bill Murray and Chevy Chase dialogue when Chevy is practicing at night and hits the ball in Murray's flop house. Totally improvised. He told Rodney Dangerfield there is plenty of film in the camera so if you have an idea just go with it. And that is why today we know why tiger eat their young and you can get a free bowl of soup by buying a ugly hat. With that being said Rodney Dangerfield would give interviews many years later saying nobody could of screwed this script up it was that funny. I don't know if they do time capsules anymore, but for my generation throw in a DVD of Animal House, Caddy .. ...
RIP Harold Ramis (November 21st 1944---February 24 2014). Such a sad day for the film industry, and the Comedy industry to boot. Ramis was truly one of a kind as a writer/director/producer, always relying on the actors in his films heavily, allowing them to express their creativity. Working with the likes of Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Robin Williams, Rodney Dangerfield and countless others, Ramis understood that the comedic lead had to to dictate the pace of his films. While Ramis' films themselves stand out, such as Caddyshack, Stripes, Vacation, Animal House, Club Paradise, Meatballs, Groundhog Day, and of course Ghostbusers, but perhaps it was his work on SCTV as a head writer, that was more important than anything he has ever done, due to all the careers the show launched, such as Martin Short, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, Joe Flaherty, Dave Thomas and of course, John Candy. Ramis has influenced many comedy writers in his time, and his legacy will continue to do so.
It pains me to know that my future children will have to live in a time with no Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, John Goodman, etc.
I'd say Bill Murray is the first, Chevy Chase the second, and then Steve Martin.
Five things I've learned this week: 1. William Pulteney, the 1st Earl of Bath is credited with being the shortest serving Prime Minister in British history. He resigned after two days after failing to secure the agreement of all but one person to serve in his Cabinet 2. The UK has the world's second largest reserve of tungsten, much of which is in Devon 3. Burt Reynolds, Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Al Pacino, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Nick Nolte and Kurt Russell all auditioned for the role of Han Solo. Sigourney Weaver, Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Kathleen Turner and Kim Basinger all tried out for the part of Princess Leia 4. The winner of the men's Giro d'Italia receives €90,000. The winner of the women's Giro d'Italia receives €450 5. The plastic end of a shoelace is called an aglet.
Okay. a hmmm.. 1.) Buffy The Vampire Slayer - I just loved this show 2.) Angel TV show - spin off with Angel in t and later Spike. woot 3.) American Horror Story years 1 and 3. (2 was just okay) 4.) How can I decide between South Park and Family Guy and Archer? (I loved the first 7 or 8 seasons of The Simpsons, but it stopped being AS funny as it was.) 10.) Finally, Saturday Night Live. But with comments. First 4 years (with John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Steve Martin, etc..). Anything with Eddie Murphy, the Adam Sandler - Chris Farley years, anything with Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, and ...
SNL has created some of the biggest celebrities in Pop culture. Lorne Michaels is more than a genius. Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrel, Mike Myers, Bill Murray, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Senator Al Franken, Chris Farley, Kirsten Wiig, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Seth Myers, Martin Short, Tim Meadows, Phil Hartman, John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Molly Shannon, Mya Rudolph, Chris Kattan... infinity I can keep going but you get me!!

Also watched SNL 25th anniversary and I must say I would of dated a young Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, and Bill Murray.
: I miss the old school, in their primes, Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase. Those guys knew comedy. Don't get me wrong I love the new guys IE Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Will Farrel, Danny Mcbride. But they don't quite have the charm of those old school cats.
Here's a question for the old school comedy fans. .out of the three..who was the best, bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd... my vote is Bill Murray. ..he Is still.funny. .. feel free to chime in!
Eh, usually Chevy Chase's page or Bill Murray's. Some funny one's in there. I'm not smart enough to make these up ha.
I won't tell you Caddyshack starring Bill Murray and Chevy Chase is on Tuesday then.
The ultimate dinner would be attended by Betty White, Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks, Carol Burnett, William H. Cosby, Jr. (Bill Cosby), John Cleese, Eric Idle, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Robin Williams, John Goodman, and Kermit the Frog (58). It would be hosted by Jon Stewart. There would be portraits of George Carlin and Lucille Ball on the wall. Stephen Fry would be the wine sommelier. Steve Carrell, Jim Carrey, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Conan O'Brien would serve the meal. Aziz Ansari and Jonah Hill would park cars. Woody Allen sends his regrets. Did I forget anyone?
Forrest Gump (1994): Bill Murray, John Travolta & Chevy Chase turned the role of Forrest down- Travolta later admitting it was a mistake.
I got the number 10, darn-it. 1. I was born in Philadelphia, but never lived there. 2. I never took the driving portion of my driving test, only the written (thank goodness). 3. I blink in 2's. 4. I was diagnosed with ADD my senior year of high school. 5. I failed 4th grade because I missed too many days of school. 6. My favorite thing to do in grade school was to write stories and include my classmates in them. 7. I can't wear short socks with jeans...feels weird. 8. I love George Carlin, Jerry Seinfeld, Howard Stern, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Adam Sandler. And John Candy and Chris Farley. 9. Pro choice, pro same sex marriage, anti hate. 10. I saw the space shuttle Challenger disintegrate over the Florida coast live in person. You can like, I won't give you a number ;)
it's a year younger than me! I love watching the old episodes! Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, et al!
WHO WINS THIS BATTLE? To me, the 3 best casts of Saturday Night Live was the original few seasons (Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Gilda Radner, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Garrett Morris), early 90's cast (Chris Rock, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Spade, Rob Schneider) and the mid to late 90's cast (Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Tim Meadows, Norm McDonald, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, Darrell Hammond). Who wins in those 3 eras? I would love to put the Eddie Murphy era but during that time he was the funniest on there by far! There was also Martin Short and Julia Louis-Dryfuss. FYI: Did you know that Damon Waynes and Anthony Michael Hall was on SNL for a season?
Then, they showed him pictures of Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Bill Cosby and said "Any questions?"
a 1980s movie with Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and a groundhog?
Dan Ackroyd, Chevy Chase and Bill Murray the original kings of comedy. Watching CaddyShack on HBO. Doesn't get much better than that.
''I'm a zit. Geddit?'' How do you describe John Belushi? A ball of built up energy? A self destructive genius? A force that could not be contained? Many people have tried to explain the essance of Belushi but the words that best describe him come from brother Jim. ''Man, he was just a real funny guy.'' Coming to prominence in the original Saturday Night Live line up along side the likes of Dan Akroyd, Chevy Chase and Bill Murray, the ''Not Ready For Prime Time'' players all went on to be some of the funniest, groundbreaking comics of the 1980s and none were funnier than John Belushi. If SNL introduced the world to the larger than life Belushi his roles in Animal House and Blues Brothers made him a household name. But it came at a tragic cost.Few lived the life of excess that epitomized the 80s more than Belushi. His party antics are legendary. He truely believed the booze and cocaine were the key to keeping his enormous creative juices flowing. Then when he started on heroin it seemed only a matter of tim ...
Chevy chase, Bill Murray and Steve Martin are also very clever and funny online.
Chevy Chase and Bill Murray smoking a doobey
Caddyshack: Bill Murray filmed all of his scenes, including the famous scene with Chevy Chase, in six days.
I love Bill Murray for many things but 1 of the biggest has to be his beating up Chevy Chase on the set of SNL that time.
6. Actors considered for the role of Indiana Jones included Nick Nolte, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Jack Nicholson.
that photo is second year. Chevy Chase was an original, not Bill Murray. Chevy quit after first season to pursue movies.
in the mid-70s we would have sleepovers & watch SNL. Belushi, Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner.
Who's the better 80's comedic actor: Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Martin Short or John Candy?
Watched a bit more of Caddyshack with Benton earlier (we're apparently doing this one in three semi-late-night installments, skipping the bits for which "he's not ready"--Benton is self-policing). First R-Rated movie I ever saw. A friend's father took a bunch of us to see it for his 13th birthday party. Not all of the movies of that era are as good as I remember them. This one holds up well, especially Chevy Chase and Bill Murray.
So my daughter Katie claims Les Mis the best movie ever! Better than Caddyshack?! No way! Let's pair it up: Bill Murray vs Hugh Jackman: Murray by a mile. Anne Hathaway vs whoever that sexy blonde who played Lacy Underall: push. Chevy Chase vs Russell Crowe: Chevy wins narrowly. Russell Brand vs Rodney Dangerfield : Rodney gets respect finally and wins handily. Caddyshack the winner in a LANDSLIDE!
I think Bill Murray and Chevy Chase doing a movie together would be neat
the had the best comedies: John Landis, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and were flying high.
My fondest memories are still the last 70s cast - Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Dan Ackroyd, etc.,
Ok was philosophizing again and I have a question for you folks who read my missives, I was thinking of days gone by when dreams were not that hard to turn to reality, when people were different and kinder, God was all forgiving and love never died, life was just a great song and there was an exciting new world around each bend and that got me to thinking about days WAY gone by some even before my time and some names popped into my head and here is the question what do the following people and YOU and I all have in common; Elvis Presley, J.F.K., R.F.K., Martin Luther King, Wyatt Earp, Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, Tennessee Ernie Ford, all four Beatles, Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, John Wayne, Sharon Tate, Frank Sinatra, Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Doc Holiday, Madonna, J. Edgar Hoover, G. Gordon Liddy, Jeffery Dahmer, Richard Speck, Mahatma Gandhi, The Dali Lama, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Garth Brooks, , Gary Talley, Mark Fallace, Janet Mahon, Stephen Oneal, Caitli ...
Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Chris Farley and Chris Rock would have to return for me to watch Bieber SNL.
I was watching one of those SNL retrospectives yesterday and then I had a dream last night that Apatow produced a movie about those early years of Saturday Night Live. Seth Rogen was Belushi, Franco was Bill Murray, McBride was Chevy Chase, Segel was Akroyd, Donald Glover was Garrett Morris, Kristen Wiig was Gilda, and Paul Giamatti was Lorne. Larraine Newman and Jane Curtin played themselves for some reason. I'm hoping to cast the 80's in my next nap.
I'm watching the Saturday Night Live special on NBC, focusing on the first 5 years, and the original Not Ready for Prime Time Players (Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, Larraine Newman, Gilda Radner, and later Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy). Their humor then was very avant garde for TV--still is, when you think about it. Only on SNL could they get away with a skit, featuring Chevy and Richard Pryor, were they do word association in a job interview--and the words get increasingly racial. And at the end it went: Chase: "Spearchucker." Pryor (getting increasingly angry): "Honky!" Chase: *** " Pryor: "Honky honky!" Chase: *** " Pryor: "DEAD HONKY!"
Switched to first 5 years of Saturday Night Live - Dan Ackroyd, John Beluchi, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Richard Pryor
Growing up during the ‘80s, John Candy has always been the quintessential comedian to me.  The comedies that I watched as a kid included all the major Candy films, The Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, Spaceballs, etc., and I even watched his short lived Saturday morning cartoon series Camp Candy.  To me, John Candy will always be the one and only King of Comedy.   Looking back over John Candy’s films, he’s the consummate family comedian.  Though he’s been in a few rated R films, 90% of his work is family friendly, from Summer Rental to Cool Runnings.  And thanks to his partnership with John Hughes, he received roles in most of the major Hugh films; from National Lampoon’s Vacation to Home Alone.  Additionally, Candy worked with nearly every leading comedic actor of his day; Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Eugene Levy, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, and Rick Moranis.  John Candy was a comedic icon, who worked with the best and produced a brilliant legacy of films that lives on.  Long live ...
I nominate Caddyshack 2 as one of the worse sequels in movie history. Jackie Mason is no Rodney Dangerfield, and turns out, Chevy Chase Chevy Chase in this one. Bill Murray, Rodney, and Ted Knight were sorely missed. Going to see Phat Finger instead of watching this mess.
I get so confused when thoughts of Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Jim Carrey towering over me and thrusting away consume my thoughts.

Been debating this one with friends for a bit, gotta go viral with it. Question is: Bill Murray or Chevy Chase?
Do i have to be the one who says it?! SNL *** Do you think I like to say that?? No! It is an institution! *** Bobby Moynihan can lick my *** Bill Hader should yell at you! Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, John Belushi, and Dan ackyroyd started this, always with a great band! Show some respect!
I know there have been some epic and great sports movies, but there have been some bad ones as well. There are two that stand out for me and I will list some more as well. Rocky 5 was brutal. What was the plot? He trains Tommy ''Gunn"' Morrison, has a fight with his son, then beats up Gunn on top of a car? Really? Wow? Caddy Shack 2 was the dumbest movie I have ever seen. Jackie Mason was the worst actor in a sports movie ever. Everything about that movie blew. Robert Stack was wasted, Chevy Chase was ok, and Dan Akyroyd is no Bill Murray. The best part of that movie was the ending credits, and the beaver. There are so many bad ones to list, so I will narrow it down to 5 I have seen. Here they are. SpaceJam- YES! Talladega Nights- Will Ferrell making out with Borat was a little weird and he named his kids, Walker and Texas Ranger? Are u kidding me? The Mighty Ducks 3- I liked the 1st 2 , and yes they count as a sports movie. The 3rd was just plain bad. The Eden Hall Ducks? Wow! Sudden Death- Yes a hockey ...
Caddyshack is on. Love it. Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase and Bill Murray!
o_o Bill Murray and Chevy Chase are alive
Chevy Chase, Bill Murray , Rodney Dangerfield can you ask for better Actors to in a comedy !!! Be the ball ! Hear nothing be nothing find your center .! Just let it happen!!! Naana na na na!!!
Caddyshack: The scene where Carl and Ty are talking in Carl's "house" was entirely improvised between Bill Murray and Chevy Chase.
The great Caddyshack is playing. Fabulous cast with Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Chevy Chase and of course Bill Murray
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from "The Faris Reel"! So what's your absolutely not Christmas til I see "what" film??? Is it "its a Wonderful Life", or "The Christmas Story"??? My favorites have to be "Scrooged" with Bill Murray and Chevy Chase's "Christmas Vacation"!!! Your thoughts and comments?
once said "nobody loses their mind like Bill Murray" but I'm going to suggest maybe Chevy Chase does in NL's Christmas Vacation
Dear Hollywood, what happened to comedy? Why are there no films like the Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase etc films of the 80s anymore?
Years before his Community drama, Chevy Chase created family drama (and comedy!) with the Griswolds' trips to Walley World, Europe, and Vegas. For this gleefully goofy Vacation, patriarch Clark keeps the clan at home for an old-fashioned family Christmas. Of course, that's a recipe for disaster—like...
MOVIE FACTOID FRIDAY: The Mexican village in THREE AMIGOS (starring Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short) is the same one used in The Magnificent Seven, the same movie which this one spoofs. Steven Spielberg was going to direct, but went on to direct E.T. instead. He would have chosen Steve Martin, Bill Murray, and Robin Williams to play the main characters.
Lake House a note to Bill Murray and Chevy Chase's 1977 fist fight to tell Murray "Play it cool; you pretty much win by 1994."
Agreed. If we get enough "Bill Murray to replace Chevy Chase in rumors started, maybe it will become true!
she's right up there with Chevy Chase and Bill Murray, her contemporaries, not to mention her husband Gene Wilder
I'm glad Chevy Chase has to do old navy commercials. Long live Bill Murray!
Chevy Chase has left the television show, Community, leaving room for Bill Murray to take his place and do much better.
Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd turned down the roles of Boone, Otter and D-Day in Animal House.
I think Bill Murray would be amused enough by the idea of replacing Chevy Chase on Community to do it for 1 or 2 eps.
Chevy Chase is leaving Community. I hope Bill Murray replaces him.
an amazing idea (not mine) to deal with Chevy Chase's departure: re-cast Pierce with Bill Murray and only have Abed notice.
Let's start a petition to get Bill Murray to replace Chevy Chase on Community.
Chevy Chase is leaving 'Community'. Can someone please fax Bill Murray an offer to replace him?
Chevy Chase is leaving 'Community.' And here come the Bill Murray jokes...
Most days I feel the same way about life that Chevy Chase feels about Bill Murray's career.
Jim Belushi, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Chris Farley, Dana Carvey... It was even good with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.
My top 10 heroes:Al Bundy,Peter Griffin,Archie Bunker,Steven Wright,Ron White,Chevy Chase,George Carlin,Bill Murray,Stan Smith,& John Candy.what's life if you don't laugh & smile:*]

Here's what I lay awake thinking about at 5:00 am when I couldn't fall back to sleep. I thought maybe the exercise would restore the "z"s. John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Garrett Morris, Bill Murray, Al Franken, Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, Billy Crystal, Martin Short, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nealon, Mike Meyers, Chris Farley, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, David Spade. . . . OK, Gilda Radner, Jane Curtin, Laraine Newman, Christine Ebersole, Nora Dunn, Julia Sweeny, Jan Hooks, Victoria Jackson . . .That's all I got; so then I re-organize them alphabetically, . . .then "dead" vs "alive," then organize by mode of death: "Dead by natural causes," "death by drug overdose," "death by murder," and "not really dead, but no one knows them any more. . . " I did not return to sleep.

Brilliant. "They should replace Chevy Chase on Community with Bill Murray or Dan Aykroyd and have none of the characters notice except Abed."
If you bump into Chevy Chase on your European Vacation pray it goes better than his Bill Murray situation.
If you need another reason to think Bill Murray is awesome, remember that he once punched Chevy Chase in the face for real. And of course, there's this:
I loved them so much! Lorraine Neuman, John Belushi, Jane Curtin, Gilda Radner, Garret Morris, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase...the Not Ready for Prime Time Players. I thought Bill Murray (my favorite) was one of the originals.

Lee's superb Cavalry commander raids the small town of Chambersburg, Pa. after the bloody Battle of Antietam nearby to the South, cutting telegraph lines and trying unsuccessfully to destroy a bridge to hinder Union troops, 1862; the Boer War begins in South Africa where a young Winston Churchill will be recognized for his bravery, helping to launch him on his path to a brilliant political career, 1899; 'Saturday Night Live' debuts, becoming the most watched comedy show on T.V., with young stars to be Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner in the ensuing years all playing wacky roles in a series of skits which viewers found hilarious, 1975; President Ronald Reagan and Soviet Premier Gorbachev meet in Reykjavic, Iceland to discuss the reduction of their nuclear arsenals in an attempt to bring the world closer to peace after a previously red-hot dialogue in which Reagan called the Soviets an 'evil empire', the meeting failing to acc ...
Had a nice Saturday evening watching "Caddyshack" with the family. I forgot just how funny that movie was. Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Ted MicKnight and Rodney Dangerfield, what an incredible cast.
Some *** said the Apatow actors were the gods of comedy. Really?! Six names, learn them and pray to them! Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Richard Pryor George Carlin, Steve Martin, and John MotherBelushi!!! The patron saints of comedy. Y'all better recognize.
Bill Murray & Chevy Chase are LEGENDS. Funniest comedians ever no question.
Saturday Night Live, although you are a re-run... I think, you really let me down. Seth Meyers, you are one of the worst head writers, you are your staff's $&is rarely funny. Way to make some mediocre comedians seem even less funny than normal. I say Lorne Michaels, she'll out the big bucks and do like survivor, or the apprentice, or whatever hip soon to jump the shark show does, pay the money to have every "all star" cast member (still alive) come back for one season. SNL allstar. Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, David Spade, Chevy Chase, Will "For Real" Farrell... And so on, oh and for crap's sake get some new writers. Sorry I couldn't remember any of the still living memorable women of SNL at first. Cheri Oteri, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon maybe. I really kinda dislike Tina Fey. Any ideas feel free to comment. How amazing would an all star season be? I wonder how we could actually pitch this.
How long was Chevy chase with SNL before he was replaced by the far superior Bill Murray? Trailing Bill Murray at the Ryder Cup
A shout out to the people who have made me what I am today ;) Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Cindy Louper, Elvira, Robin Leach, Bill Cosbey, Bill Murray, Dolly, my mom and Jesus. Thanks! THANKS A LOT!

Watching "Caddyshack" (on Cinemax - no commercials) for the millionth time, at least. It never gets old. Hard to believe some people (Stone) have no appreciation for one of the funniest movies ever made! Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield. CLASSIC!
Geek Trivia - For the movie Ghostbusters, the roles of Peter Venkman and Winston Zeddemore were originally written for John Belushi and Eddie Murphy. John Candy was also initially cast as Louis Tully, the role eventually played by Rick Moranis. After the death of John Belushi, the role of Peter Venkman was at one point offered to Chevy Chase before it was finally accepted by Bill Murray.
Chevy Chase and Bill Murray finished in Caddyshack...not gonna see the heavy stuff for a while.

Watching Caddyshack with Kyleigh. If you ask me, it's never too early to introduce them to the comedic genius of Bill Murray and Chevy Chase.

Fletch is the best Chevy Chase movie ever.. beats Bill Murray at his best
I think there are two distinct types of people in the world. People who think that Chevy Chase is the best character in Caddyshack and people who think Bill Murray is the best character in Caddyshack.
Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, and Chevy Chase are true comedic geniuses
If I were to pick 4 comedians to represent me, they would be Zach Galafianakis, Chevy Chase, Mitch Heaburg, and Jim Gaffigan. I would say Bill Murray rather than Chevy Chase, but I realize I'm not that funny.
Clearing rumours about fistfight (which actually was true) Chevy Chase and Bill Murray sing together "I shot the sheriff".
Chevy Chase and Bill Murray - we thought those guys were funny. We love Bill Murray, but we didn't think they were right for Airplane! because it would step on the joke if there was a known comedian.
Who is everyone's favorite SNL personality? Mine is either Tracy Morgan, or Will Ferrel. Still not as good as Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, or Bill Murray. I miss those old episodes so much.
Bill Murray tells of his "Hollywood fight" with Chevy Chase. Plus: how things have changed at SNL.

I love Caddyshack! Can't get any better then Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, and Bill Murray!!
I love Bill Murray because he'd rather do a small role in a Wes Anderson film than star in GHOSTBUSTERS 3. Also, he punched Chevy Chase.
Bill Murray and Chevy Chase at their best. Top 5 sports movies.
Watching Caddyshack b/c Chevy Chase and Bill Murray were my old man crushes when I was young. Now they're just old. :(

"That's the magic." No Bill, you're the magic. I know it was a bit and all but where can I buy tickets to see Bill Murray's hologram perform? Seriously. Just
It's one of those famous Hollywood fights: Bill Murray vs. Chevy Chase. Although it was more than 30 years ago, it's still a topic of curiosity for fans of the two actors and "Saturday Night Live."

Bill Murray explains his fight with Chevy Chase
He also talked about fighting with Chevy Chase during his “SNL” days.
Well, I learned something tonight. I am too old for Saturday Night Live. I watched it because Wayne wanted to see *** Jagger.I must admit *** looks and moves pretty well for a 69 year-old man. But. I never cared much for the Stones and still don't. The humor in the show went completely over my head. I used to love that show. Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, etc., but this group...Well, ok, I'm old. So is *** Jagger.
Just watch an entire first season of Saturday Night Live, and now the second season which include Steve Martin's first time hosting the show and Chevy Chase's last show from October 23, 1976 ans Bill Murray's first show from January 15 1977, bring back a lot of memories

Can't stop geeking out that I met Bill Murray today. He was great on his obsession with North By Northwest & his SNL spat with Chevy Chase.
Chevy Chase and Bill Murray are great, but are sort of large cameos. Dangerfield, hilarious, is doing his stand-up. Ted Knight is the star.
