New York Giants QB Eli Manning defended his head coach on Monday, saying Tom Coughlin is not the reason for Big Blue's failures this season and that their struggles rest on the shoulders of the players.
The G-Men won their third game in a row with a 30-20 victory over the Atlanta Falcons! QB Eli Manning threw for exactly 200 yards and 2 TDs with a second consecutive game with no interceptions. Rookie WR Odell Beckham Jr made his NFL debut today, grabbing 4 passes for 44 yards and the go-ahead-for-good TD pass in the fourth quarter, which was the 14th of 20 unanswered points after the Falcons took a 20-10 lead. The Giant defense forced another interception, their 8th in the last 3 weeks, on QB Matt Ryan. After averaging just 14 PPG in their first 2 games (both losses) and allowing about 30 PPG, Big Blue has averaged a very solid 35 PPG and allowed 17 PPG in their last 3 games (all wins). The Giants have improved to 3-2, and appear to be entering a 3 way battle for the NFC East division with the Dallas Cowboys and their next opponent, LeSean McCoy and the high flying offense of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football!

Great way to end a great weekend. Being at the Giants game tonight and watching Eli Manning throw his 200th career touchdown pass to now surpass Phil Sims was amazing. The stadium was electrifying, the energy from all the fans helped Big Blue bring a huge win to its fans tonight. The 50/50 raffle at the tailgate that I won for $140 also helped make tonight that much more exciting! Goodnight everyone!
Big Blue all day! hmm I believe that Romo should take some classes from Eli Manning! LETS GO GIANTS!
For nearly the entirety of Tom Coughlin's time as head coach of the New York Giants, the second-half collapse has been a yearly tradition. Twice the Giants made up for it by getting their collective act together by late December and going on a Super Bowl run. But they also missed the playoffs in both 2009 and 2010. So Giants fans could be excused if their "midseason slump" senses started tingling when Eli Manning managed only 192 yards against the Dallas Cowboys, even though the Giants escaped with a 29-24 win thanks to five Lawrence Tynes field goals. The next week, the Giants lost 24-20 to Pittsburgh at the Meadowlands, which officially kicked off Big Blue's case of ultra-repetitive deja vu. That feeling only got stronger the following week, when the Giants got pummeled 31-13 by a very mediocre Cincinnati Bengals team. When the Giants return to the field Sunday against the Packers, will their usual second-half slump continue?

Guest Blog: Jay-Z’s Newly Renovated 40/40 Club From our friends at Nitetables So I Could only imagine what there going to do when he comes to London. Can't wait Last week Jay-Z made headlines when daughter Blue Ivy — his first child with wife Beyoncé — came into the world. Now the music mogul is hours away from another newsworthy event: the rebirth of his upscale sports lounge, The 40/40 Club, following a reported $10 million makeover. The reopening of the West 25th Street hotspot, which now features twice the amount of TVs it did before (including an eye-popping, nine-panel video wall), couldn’t come at a better time, with New York sports fans still celebrating the Giants’ playoffs victory over the Packers. With 40/40 opening its doors to the public on January 19, the coming weekend promises to be a busy one for the club, when Eli Manning and Big Blue takes on the San Francisco 49ers in the battle for the NFC title.
