Let me make it clear that I'll vote for Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders or even Jerry Brown before Hillary.

My idol. Tough little Brooklyn Jewish girl, and the last true liberal (except Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren) in Congress. Sigh. How I'll miss her.
that will be a interesting primary if Joe jumps in but I'm waiting to see if Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders decided to run
I fear that my generation is going to be remembered by history as the forgotten generation. Despite having lived during the Barack Obama and Bill Clinton presidencies, my generation has not breathed a breath of liberal air in our lifetimes. Take for example the list of Democratic people who are seen as *potential* candidates for the nomination in 2016: Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Jerry Brown, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, John Kerry, and my personal favorite, Al Gore. What do all of these people have in common? They were all born before 1950. They all had lived through great Democratic eras, under FDR, JFK, and LBJ. They came of age in times when change and progress weren't stifled by a conservative congress, a Catholic Supreme Court, or a group of *** with teabags dropping from their hats. The Democratic leaders of tomorrow all are ironically past the retirement age of 65. Each of them were lucky to grow up in a world where hope outweighed fear. And what did my generation get? We got Ro ...

Dear friends it's another election year I'd like to ask you to look up and see about two candidates you've probably never heard of. Check out Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren when you have time I think you'll like them.
That's it I'm letting the politics out of the bag . I'm calling them out ... Please run for President ... Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Marco Rubio, Canadian Ted Cruz, Paul Ryan, Chris Christie, & Rick "Frothy Load" Santorum. You made my news so awesome in 2012 I can't wait for a repeat! Serious candidates AKA Rand Paul, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Jeb Bush, & Hillary Clinton . Who cares the most about the American People and who cares the most about Campaign Funds? I bet Campaign Funds trump the American People every time.
Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders are no different than "our" other elected officials in the federal government... traitorous "Israel First" Rothschild Zionist warmongers and bankster-gangster stooges one and all. At this time, approximately ninety percent (90%) of Americans eligible to vote are too dumbed down, intellectually challenged, and ethically degenerate to consider refusing to vote for such candidates.
Obama, Boehner and McConnell and actually eager to work together to pass something-- the Big Business/Wall Street free trade agreement progressives are opposing. The TPP, the Trans-Pacific Trade agreement will come up early this year-- as soon as Boehner feels sure he's lines up enough votes between Republicans who hate working families and conservative Democrats who are just Republicans anyway. The Congressional Progressive Caucus is leading the fight against "fast track authority" in the House and Sherrod Brown, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are rallying Democrats in the Senate. - See more at:
Same here. Clinton could be bad for the democratic ticket. If anything, Elizabeth Warren or even Bernie Sanders should run.
We need the Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Alan Grayson wing of the Democratic Party to actually stand for our principals. We need to replace the spinless dems who ran from the president and ignored their base last election. Democrats need to learn the only way to handle the teabagger *** is to stand & fight!
It’s not even 2015 yet and no candidate has declared that he or she is running, but the pollsters are already asking about who you’ll vote for in the November 2016 Presidential election. In this CNN poll, the choices for a Republican are Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Mike Pence, Rick Perry, Rob Portman, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, or Scott Walker. The choices for a Democrat are Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Andrew Cuomo, Martin O’Malley, Deval Patrick, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren or Jim Webb. How many of these candidates could you envision being a successful President?
Bernie Sanders for President. Elizabeth Warren his VP!!! Would accept the reverse. They get if we don't all make it, no one makes it.
I don't give a *** if people call me an opportunist. These people are aren't doing anything, but sitting around in their tower throwing vitriol because their lives are empty and meaningless. I know what I do. I know I'm a good guy and a caring human being. I'll be at The Evergreen State College on January 5th. I'll do my charitable deed for no reason other than wanting to do it and they say get out there if you really want to meet a woman, so that's what I do. Every 5th of the month. I've actually met some decent folks from Evergreen. I get a kick out the fact that some of these blokes think I'm in my early 20's. I put my snacks at the college. I get out there for a minute. I come home and I do like Hitch by pointing out the foibles of religion and the political system being unfair for the little guy. I laud Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders a lot these days. I do my thing. I ought to be getting the bone marrow application testing kit in the mail any day now. I'm really looking forward to that. I'd be . ...
If we could only get a ticket with Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren they would kick butts and take names !!
I am tired. Tired of the recessive stop everything congress. Tired of the police provoking violence in peaceful protests. Tired of Wall Street bankers running free after gambling with our economy. Tired of there being a minimum wage but no maximum. Tired of our nation torturing. Anyone. Tired of my other-colored-brothers and sisters being lessened. Tired of my LBGT brother and sister also being lessened. Tired of my own bigotries, that I am trying to unwind and acknowledge. Tired of schools that teach... what? Where are the classes that will give the next generation their humanity? --- But there is change. I am not tired of the new Pope. Finally what a man of the cloth should be. Nor of Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. I am tired of lists and of posting only on problems and not the solutions. done now.
You know how sometimes you see that question about what famous people you'd like to sit down with? My current dream team for an amazing dinner would be: Jon Stewart, Dave Grohl, Stephen King, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Gilbert. Now that really would be inspiring.
‘Tis the season for new emails from politicians such as Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders (his 12-point program). If the Dems want my vote, they will need a program, and Sanders seems willing to oblige. After the disaster of election 2014, more Democrats have come to realize that elections are not won by giving only lip service to middle- and working-class desires for a real economic recovery. If I had a fiver for every time the past three weeks I've read or heard something like, "The Democrats don't stand for anything". You want a program? A couple of months ago I promised to post a plan. How about this: to stop global climate change and switch the world economy from its dependence on burning fossil fuels, to totally sustainable renewable energies, we need a crash program of $100 trillion in new construction of: 3.8 million 5-Mega-Watt wind turbines;49,000 300-Mega-Watt concentrated solar plants;40,000 300-Mega-Watt solar power plants;1.7 billion 3-kilo-Watt rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems; ...
So far, it seems that Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are leading the progressive side of the Democratic Party closer to being a party of the people and not a party of corporations and big business.

Robert Reich, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and, to an unfortunately much lesser extent, Barack Obama... there aren't many other influential Americans speaking out on behalf of our country's promise and of fair and moral treatment of ALL of our citizens. I'm going to have to hold my nose if I have to vote for Hilary Clinton.
Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren over Hilary Clinton. These two have championed Average Americans this whole time.
I think Democrats need to start thinking about who they will support in 2016. We need a populist nominee. Hillary Clinton is not a populist. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are populists. If we don't nominate one, we risk splitting the Democratic vote and giving the White House to the GOP.
Be more like *Badass* Bernie Sanders, more like *Kick Wall St. *** Elizabeth Warren, stop being the jellyfish party (No Backbone Repug Lite)! Wake up be Progressive not Defensive!

Elizabeth Warren is a Liberals DREAM & a Conservatives NIGHTMARE! . Liz Warren/Bernie Sanders That's the ticket.RT if you agree

I'd prefer Elizabeth Warren or Wendy Davis. Or Bernie Sanders if he wasn't Independent.
Warning! Hillary Clinton is OWNED by Wall Street! Make no mistake about it! She is Wall Street's "mistress!" We need to get behind Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren! It is imperative that Hillary Clinton not win the presidency!
Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders get off Israel bandwagon, for once
Teddy! Do we ever need such leadership now! Please support Alan Grayson, Wendy Davis, Alison Lundergan Grimes, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Michelle Nunn and Jason Carter with your "Lincoln Ballots" of $5 (or more). I would prefer Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, so I'm in a holding pattern. I would also prefer Joe Biden over Hillary but will support the democratic nominee.
How many Americans will support a Sanders-Warren presidential bid in 2016? Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren would be the perfect remedy for our ailing and dying country.
These are companies that even a top cheerleader for the corporate class can’t bring itself to defend. What’s more, the list is accompanied by a blistering article by columnist Allan Sloan that makes the progressive case against corporate tax evasion as forcefully as anything Sens. Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren might say on the Senate floor.
I think Gov. Martin O'Malley would be one. I don't think Sens. Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren would run.
Can we get a Bernie Sanders or an Elizabeth Warren please? If we don't get an actual liberal candidate soon, I'll run myself.
I know that a lot of people think Hillary Clinton is a slam-dunk for 2016. I'm not so sure. In 2008, still suffering from Clinton fatigue, and still annoyed as *** about DADT and DOMA, I voted for Obama in the primaries. It was February and everyone still expected Clinton to win the nomination, but I had a hunch it was going to be Obama. In 2016, I would vote for Hillary for president, because she is clearly the one democrat with the most experience in foreign and domestic policy -- an understanding of how the Senate works, as well as the workings of the White House. Nevertheless, when the primaries happen, I will vote for Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, or Joe Biden (in that order), if they are on the primary ballot. It is my hope that Hillary chooses not to run and that the democrats run Elizabeth Warren instead. Or Bernie Sanders. I like the fact that they speak in plain English. Oh, and don't dismiss Joe Biden too easily. The man has a great soul coupled with insight and intelligence. He's worthy o ...
I’d like to make it clear that, although I’m a registered Democrat, this is not a Democratic Party forum, otherwise the name of the group would be Liberal Democrats Taking Our Country Back. Liberals can be Democrats but Democrats are not always liberals. We have Green Party members in this group as well as independent liberals. If members of the Peace & Freedom Party or any other liberal political party requested to join, they would be welcome here. I am a registered Democrat only because at this time there is no other political party which I feel can run electable candidates for office. Yes, by not voting for those candidates it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, but, if Democrats like Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Alan Grayson, Sherrod Brown, Howard Dean, Raúl Grijalva, Barbara Lee and Keith Ellison (arguably among the farthest to the Left in the Democratic Party but there are also a quite a few others) would break off and form their own political party, I’d join them in a heartbeat. The ...
If someone better arrives on the scene a la Barack Obama in 2008, I will vote for them for the Democratic nomination, but until someone better comes along, I'm supporting Hillary Clinton. That's right, I'm all in. That does not preclude my support for someone with more experience and more passion who arrives on the scene, but right now that person is not evident. I love Elizabeth Warren, but she is a political neophyte with absolutely no foreign policy experience and limited legislative experience. Though she is impressive, she needs to stay in the Senate for a while. Bernie Sanders is an independent, and truthfully, that would be killer for him in a White House run. Andrew Cuomo, Kirsten Gillibrand, and others, while attractive do not come close to Hillary's experience. We need someone to be willing and able to fight with a recalcitrant congress, even if they are able to turn it Democratic in 2016. Someone prepared to deal with the rapidly evolving world scene. We need someone with Hillary's unmatchable ...
I am a old Hippie and people like Elizabeth Warren were at all the campus's around the country . Now her and a few in the Progressive Caucus are the only ones talking of meaningful legislation . Sen. Bernie Sanders home state of Vermont became the 1ST State in the Union to put forth a ballet Initiative to get Money Out of Politics . It past the state Senate and Congress with overwhelming support from both sides . The Super Pac that help put this up for a vote has but one purpose . To end Super Pac all together even itself . It is the brain child of Cenk Uygur and an online New Network called " The Young Turks " or " TYT " for short . The name of the Super Pac is WOLF-PAC.com and is all being done by people like you and me . Just trying to spare and idea for Mass . to be the 2nd State in the Nation to pass such a Initiative like this in light of what is going on in Washington DC. Massachusetts and Senator Warren could throw down the gauntlet to the top 1% that it isn't going to be easy to buy all of our De ...
Here is another reason why I say Elizabeth Warren is a massive hypocrite and an *** like Bernie Sanders...I am so sorry if you are fooled by her character. Anyways and I quote and please read the full thing "Warren's stock portfolio from her 2012 Financial Disclosure reports doesn't list much in her disclosure form. But in 2013, after just being in the Senate for one year, her portfolio lists 19 individual TIAA funds, with one TIAA traditional fund totaling up to $1 million, and another TIAA traditional fund totaling up to $5 million. Financial Disclosure Search Portal a former professor, why wasn't she contributing to the TIAA-CREF fund before 2013, unless she hid those investments in her 2012 financial disclosure. What's so ironic is that TIAA-CREF, or Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association – College Retirement Equities Fund, an investment fund for people in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields, and a financial giant who says they aren't traded on Wall Street, yet maintain offices . ...
Dear Red States: We're ticked off at your Neanderthal attitudes and politics and we've decided we're leaving. We Progressives intend to form our own country and we're taking the other Blue States with us. In case you aren't aware that includes California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and the rest of the Northeast. We believe this split will be beneficial to the nation and especially to the people of the new country of The Enlightened States of America (E.S.A.) To sum up briefly: - You get Texas, Oklahoma and all the slave states - We get stem cell research and the best beaches. - We get Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. You get Ole' Miss. - We get 85 percent of America's venture capital and entrepreneurs - You get dirt roads - We get 2/3 of the tax revenue. You get to make the red states pay their fair share. - Sin ...
I think we're playing with fire to demand a constitutional convention to vote on things we're having trouble getting through Congress. With the possibility that EVERYTHING could be up for grabs at such a convention, we could find ourselves is quite a pickle -- dominated by big-spending Tea Party types and pushed into altering our constitution beyond all recognition. That scares me more than going along the way we are and struggling to win our government back from big money, frankly. I don't think we have the kind of statesmanly minds enjoying enough influence in public life right now to shepherd a decent constitution through the process. If people respected Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and their like more than they do, I wouldn't be so scared. But if we have the likes of Mitch Mcconnell and Darrell Issa, the Koch Brothers and some of the crazies on the Supreme Court influencing changes in our constitution --- Eeeek.

I'm thinking Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders would make one *** of a team as President and Vice President of the United States!!
Truly. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are the ones standing up for Americans.
We need an Elizabeth Warren and a Bernie Sanders representing every state. I am VERY glad they are both New Englanders! The only down side is that she ran off Scott Brown and he has moved to my state (New Hampshire) , declared residency and with the Kochs money backing him is campaigning hard against Jeanne Shaheen. He refuses to sign the Citizens' Pledge that Jeanne signed refusing to use PAC money. ALL our top elected officials are women in NH! The ONLY state to do so! I hope Jeanne runs Brown out od NH like Elizabeth did in Massachusetts!
Elizabeth Warren & Bernie Sanders are two of my favorite folks.. Oh and Warren Buffet. They talk the talk and walk the walk.
In my humble opinion, in terms of law makers, we have only three I still trust and a few others I generally trust who will stand up and speak the truth. My first line consists of Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Alan Grayson.
Just saw Elizabeth Warren on Morning Joe ... what an absolutely wonderful human being ... and she has that burning desire it takes to get good things done ... I would vote for her and Bernie Sanders ~ Co-Presidents for life to take us to that promised land our founding patriots had in mind that winter at Valley Forge ..
I'd love to see a Democrat primary debate between Hillary, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley and Joe Manchin.
there are only two elected officials i know of who do not seem to be owned lock stock and barrel by special interests, at the expense of our society, at the expense of the American People: Elizabeth Warren , and Bernie Sanders . if we could vote well enough to launch them into the White House, it might even turn the tide of who we get in office in general.
It is a great response. One quibble: Jack Conway may not be Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren but he is a liberal
It used to be that we were a nation of laws and not men or women. Today we are a nation of men and women with laws that are applied unequally. Why is it that it seems only Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are speaking out against the way things are today? Because the other members of Congress have special interest that dictate their activities. Anyone disagree?
Senators who now support making Security more generous include Merkley, Begich, Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, and Bernie Sanders.
Draft Bernie - Bernie Sanders to run with Elizabeth Warren 2016.They both see exactly what is happening. college kids are being turned into life-long servants via high interest college loans... money the banks pay almost zero interest to loan.

Why does the media keep pushing Hillary and not Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren? I hope people start to notice and to think for themselves.
When I do not include Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren, the combined IQ score of the remaining 98 senators is 78 (yes, thats right, 78)
Will someone please tell Organizing for America that I have zero desire to meet Barack Obama? To be honest; I'd rather meet Elizabeth Warren or Wendy Davis or Keith Ellison or Bernie Sanders. Always wanted to shake hands with Henry Waxman but I think I've missed the boat on that.
I love Hilary Clinton but I hope she doesn't run for President in 2016. It's all team Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, or maybe even Cory Booker.
Does Elizabeth Warren have enough foreign relations experience? How about Bernie Sanders?
There's not a person in this pic I would trust in a public outhouse with a muzzle on... not even the two Democrats, and certainly not the rest of them. Elizabeth Warren... Bernie Sanders... y'all need to team up.
Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders... much rather see them than Hilary. Sorry Hil, but I think your time passed in 2008, and someone else will be the first woman president.
I bless the Vice President and Sec. of State; John Kerry, Attorney General Eric Holder, U.S Senators; Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders
Bill de Blasio in NYC, Elizabeth Warren & Bernie Sanders in the Senate, Alan Grayson in Congress the Country is moving Left Finally

john -- I know we're all busy with the holidays, but did you see Charlie's email from Saturday? I shared it below. With Democrats controlling the Senate, progressive heroes like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have real influence inside Washington. But if Republicans take over the Senate by winning just six seats in November, Warren and Sanders will be marginalized -- substantially setting back the progressive movement. In 2014, DFA won't let that happen. But we need your support to mobilize our members across America to maintain progressive power in the Senate. With just hours left before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, we’re extremely close to hitting our $100,000 end-of-year goal. Will you contribute $3 to get us over the top? Thanks for your support. We deeply appreciate it. -Eden Eden James, Political Director Democracy for America - Forwarded message - From: Charles Chamberlain, Democracy for America Date: Sat, Dec 28, 2013 at 7:05 AM Subject: Six seats john -- Six seats. Robert, Not that long ago, Republicans, the corporate media, and centrist Democrats were locked together in an unholy alliance that was pushing the Wall Street agenda on the entire country. It seemed like we only heard one thing from Washington: that we needed to reduce the deficit, and that hardworking Americans would have to pay the price. My how things have changed. Now the United States Senate is talking about the need for real banking reform and the need to expand Social Security. And it didn't happen by accident -- progressives made it happen. We elected Elizabeth Warren, Tammy Baldwin, and Chris Murphy to the United States Senate. And we reelected Bernie Sanders and Sherrod Brown. Now it's time to start building our next electoral victories. Today, we are uniting to support three terrific candidates up in 2014: Alison Lundergan Grimes, Al Franken, and Jeff Merkley. Our goal is to raise 1,000 grassroots contributions before their campaigns' reporting deadlines, and we're already 80% of the way the ...
My 2 senators signed this. Elizabeth Warren signed this. Sherrod Brown signed this. Sen. Bernie Sanders did not. And President Obama will sign it just to stop the sabotage of the Iran talks. But we know that the Military/Pentagon/Intelligence runs the Government along side of Corporate American. Our elected Congress members are just window dressing. Either get busy cleaning house or get busy bowing down.
Disgusting. Also, did you catch CBS Sunday morning show this AM, featuring Bill (I think) koch??? He was lamenting the fact that he had been defrauded of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of wines from 2 unscrupulous purveyors, and had the audacity to spend $25 MILLION DOLLARS to bring these fraudsters to justice, because it made him, "feel good." His house, this house, is more of a museum than anything else since he insists on the very best of everything, and to see all those Picassos, Monet's water lily pond painting, and more was unbelievable. I know Sec. Reich, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Sherrod Brown et al are trying to make a dent in all this income inequality, but it sure is rough and slow going . . .
Today's news from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.): Food Safety: A bipartisan coalition of 75 lawmakers is fighting for changes to new federal Food Safety rules, saying the proposed requirements could be “severely detrimental” to farmers of produce and even force some out of business. The issue has shattered traditional party lines, with conservatives such as Sen. Roy Blunt “joined by liberals such as Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders,” the Springfield, Mo., News-Leader reported. Budget Set for Tighter Vote in Senate: Supporters of a budget agreement worked over the weekend to secure the necessary votes in the Senate to approve the two-year deal, which they expect will pass—but by a much narrower margin than it won in the House last week. Sen. Richard Durbin said on Sunday he feels there will be strong Democratic support for the bill, but hasn't yet secured the Republican votes needed to clear a key procedural hurdle this week. Some Democrats have reservations about the bill and could vo ...
Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and a host of reasonable and progressive voices in politics and media are now leading the charge for sanity in government and putting a stop to predatory corporate power and wealth abuse.
FOX News First: Dec. 13 By Chris Stirewalt Buzz Cut: • Will Warren Wing scuttle budget deal? • Walker offers ObamaCare bypass • It pays to play with Podesta • Huckabee tuning out before jumping in? • Please don’t tell Jeff Bezos about these drones… WILL WARREN WING SCUTTLE BUDGET DEAL? Speaker John Boehner delivered on his promise to pass a bipartisan budget bill through the House, and he’s taking plenty of blowback from conservatives for it. But the real test for the two year can-kick seems to be whether Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid can tame an increasingly unruly liberal wing of his own party. Far-left senators like Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Al Franken, D-Minn., Tom Udall, D-N.M. and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., can’t be happy about maintaining more than half of the spending caps from the 2011 debt-limit deal and making no provisions for extended welfare benefits. Given that so many Democrats are secretly rooting for a shutdown, it might even seem like the strat ...
Bernie Sanders for Presiden and Elizabeth Warren for Vice President in 2016.
Elizabeth Warren... A fact based politician. One of two... the other is Bernie Sanders
I once saw Elizabeth Warren talking in person. She was bright-eyed, articulate, smart, persuasive and very much sincere sounding with all the right things to say. She gave me the same great impression the President Obama had in 2008. But now I know that those people are like cult leaders. And ultimately they will pave ways for the powerful few to structure our world into a corporate cage to safely domesticate the people in serving the masters. I should also add people like Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders to the list. If you don't know what I am talking about please be patient and read the following articles. We might not agree with everything, but they will certainly open our eyes. More on Bernie Sanders: on Elizabeth Warren: on Hilary Clinton: of us might be disappointed to hear such a blanket statement about those people wiping out all the hope we could have at least for someone. If so, I am glad that we feel that way. Because I am convinced that we can not depend on anyo ...
I just watched Elizabeth Warren, on The Rachel Maddow Show. She didn't say so. But I really got the feeling that she is open to running in 2016! Hip, Hip Hooray! We need her and Bernie Sanders! It's possible!

Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren 2016 After All They are the only ones Forcefully speaking for the people that I see. Where are the rest?.
I think Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders should be the standard we judge our congresspeople against. They care.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY COUNTRY, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? . Part 1. What has happened to me? . I probably should start by discussing what has happened to me. I have seen something in myself that I do not like; a disappointing image in the mirror. It took the death of my brother-in-law to clear the fog from the glass that prevented me from seeing more clearly what I have become. . I love politics and have observed and studied it for years. For the last few years, I have been very disappointed by the outcome of several elections and primaries including the election of President Obama, Bill Clinton, Duval Patrick, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Bernie Sanders, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Gabriel Gomez (primary), Ed Markey, John Mccain(primary), Harry Reid, Patrick Leahey, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Henry Waxman, Lindsey Graham, Jeanne Shaheen, Charles Rangel, John Tierney, Niki Tsongas, Joe Kennedy, Claire Mccaskill, Mary Landrieu, Tom Harkin, John Conyers, Charles E. ...
I ADORE SEN. BERNIE SANDERS!! . Banks profiting on Student Loan debt to the tune of $50B. Must stop! Support him & Elizabeth Warren!!
If you aren't thinking like Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower, please don't call yourself a Republican. Call yourself a Tea Partier, Christian Right Party, or some other party where you actually have to take some personal responsibility and honesty. I feel the same way about the Democrats. The only real Dems. that I see in the government and public are Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.and he's an Independent!
I'm hoping Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders will get on that. Not sure Obama will do it willingly sad to say.
I am going to support Hillary Clinton and or Elizabeth Warren for President in 2016 but Bernie Sanders would make a great President.
Thursday all those Republicans who obstruct every Obama nomination were stumbling all over each other to vote to confirm the conservative American jobs killer Obama named as U.S. Trade Rep, Michael Froman. Corporate America was popping the champagne bottles. The nomination passed 93-4-1, only Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Joe Manchin and Carl Levin voting against one of Obama's worst picks for anything ever. (Barbara Boxer voted "present.")
U.S. Rep. Ed Markey is one of the most impressive, hard-working and no-nonsense members of Congress I've seen in a long time. He doesn't "apologize" to the corporate scum polluting our waterways, keeping working peoples' wages in the basement and allowing special interests to ruin our once-great country. We need people like Ed, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Sherrod of Ohio and others to protect the interests of everyday people.
We need more Democrats in congress like Elizabeth Warren, Ron Wyden, Bernie Sanders, Sherrod Brown and Alan Grayson and less like Carl Levin, Charles Rangel, and Dianne Feinstein. The old guard is just as out of touch as many of the Republicans, and have become corrupt and have become part of the status quo.
As has been suggested today, "We constantly complain about Congress - justifiably - but it is easy to lose sight of the good people in office, who are struggling to do right by us all. I want to make a list of people in Congress whom we trust and admire. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Tammy Duckworth, Maria Cantwell, Patty Murray, Mark /Tom Udall, Tom Harkin, Al Franken, Kirsten Gillibrand, Sherrod Brown, Ron Wyden, Jeff Merkley, Patrick Leahy, Joe Kennedy, Ed Markey, Keith Ellison, Alan Grayson, Adam Smith, Jim Mcdermott (yeah, he is crazy but his votes are good.) Anybody should be taken off this list or added to it?"
Would you vote for Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton?
By continuing to work within the parameters of our current political system we’re electing the officials who are selling us out to Wall Street over and over again. Different names, different faces….same results. At this point, I believe in one politician and that’s Bernie Sanders of Vermont. He speaks for the people on most of the major issues. As for Elizabeth Warren and her proposal to cut Interest Rates for students, it’s a betrayal of the work force of tomorrow that works tirelessly to make the rich richer. Education in this country and the world should be completely free of charge. Why shouldn’t students go into massive debt to operate the mechanisms of production that make the elites obscenely wealthy? All the tuition and fees that are being paid at schools like Arizona State University and other schools are just taxes levied against students that wind up in the pockets of the fat cats running the show behind the scenes and forcing the students into massive debt and, hence, conformity and ...
Its time to start kicking several republicans: Stop Wall Street Speculation The average price for a gallon of gas has gone up by more than 41 cents in the past five months. Supply and demand? Hardly. The price hikes come at a time when U.S. oil inventories reached a three-decade high while demand for gasoline is lower than four years ago when prices averaged only $2.30 a gallon. So Bernie is pushing for an investigation into oil price manipulation like one already underway in Europe. He also would set a 30-day deadline for federal regulators to use emergency powers to curb excessive speculation in crude oil markets. Both ideas were offered as amendments to a bill now before the full Senate. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren will get to the bottom of this!
Today's news from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.): Student Loans: With Student Loan rates set to double on July 1 to 6.8 percent, Sen. Sanders endorsed “excellent” legislation by Sen. Elizabeth Warren to set student Interest Rates at the same low 0.75 percent level that the Federal Reserve charges big banks. “The only thing wrong with this bill is that Elizabeth thought of it and I didn’t,” Sanders joked on The Thom Hartmann Program. FCC Nominee: President Obama’s nominee to head up the Federal Communications Commission will sell hundreds of thousands in AT&T and Verizon shares in order to avoid future conflicts of interest. Sen. Sanders and others previously expressed concern about Tom Wheeler’s close ties to the industry as a former lobbyist, The Hill reported. Pope on Poverty: Sen. Sanders applauded Pope Francis for condemning a “cult of money” that the pontiff said was oppressing the poor, WAMC-FM and The Huffington Post reported. Sanders “may have a like-minded activist in the Vatican ...
Week in Review: Headlines all week blared the latest developments in an IRS scandal, the seizure of Associated Press phone logs and hearings staged by House Republicans on last year’s deadly U.S. consulate attack in Libya. Sen. Bernie Sanders criticized the IRS as “dead wrong.” He faulted the Justice Department for sweeping up reporters’ phone records. He dismissed the Benghazi hearings as Republicans trying to turn a tragedy to their political advantage. But where, he asked, were the news stories about the collapsing middle class, chronic unemployment and poverty in America? Bernie welcomed a Tuesday report that the deficit is shrinking. He called again on Thursday for filibuster reform to stop Republicans from using parliamentary tactics to stiff arm President Obama’s nominees. And he joked on Friday about one small problem he has with an otherwise “excellent” Student Loan bill by Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
(B) Elizabeth Warren is right as usual! We need MORE like her and Bernie Sanders! Do YOU agree??
GANGSTER BANKERS This is the government admitting to being afraid to prosecute the very powerful – something it never did even in the heydays of Al Capone or Pablo Escobar, something it didn't do even with Richard Nixon. And when you admit that some people are too important to prosecute, it's just a few short steps to the obvious corollary – that everybody else is unimportant enough to jail. Our GOVERNMENT did not just bail out Wall Street, but also lied on the financial sector’s behalf, calling unhealthy banks healthy and helping banks cover up how much aid they were getting... ~ “It has been almost five years since the financial crisis, but the big banks are still too big to fail. That means they are subsidized by $83 BILLION a year by American taxpayers and are still not being held accountable for breaking the law.” --Elizabeth Warren (Sen. Bernie Sanders, economist Joseph Stiglitz and US citizens) ~ Bankers Dodge Taxes : Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs take ta .. ...
My beliefs lean more towards the Independent party. I love Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders as they can't be bought.
there's maybe Bernie Sanders, Sherrod Brown, and Elizabeth Warren who have earned any kind of trust
I`m a huge fan of Bernie Sanders and I think Elizabeth Warren would be a Fantastic President looking ahead to 2016
Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, & Sherrod Brown seem to be only Liberals left pushing Liberal economic issues. Dem's are losing the base.
Elizabeth Warren: Ms. Smith Goes to Washington and Doesn't Give an Inch, After Years of Failed Promises from Politicians. I am hopeful. What a desert it has been for those who are concerned about justice, democracy, income fairness and the Constitution. So many hopes have soared on the wings of politicians promising change and an end-to-business as usual in DC, only to have expectations dashed as the candidates are elected, take office and conform to the status quo rather than change it. It has been a dismaying and enervating slog, sinking in the quagmire of political moral corruption to be limply reassured by the begrudging outlook "that it could be worse." The danger is that dismay can lead to hopelessness and withdrawal from the great struggle for summoning our better angels. For years, we have seen with few exceptions (Bernie Sanders, Paul Wellstone, etc.) political figures head to the seat of the US government only to become compromised by corporate control through campaign contributions, the media . ...
I think Elizabeth Warren is awesome!!! (and Bernie Sanders too!!). Doing what they know is right!!!
This is what America needs most; people in politics who have the clarity to see the hypocrisy of a 'justice' system that is systematically unjust. How about a new party with Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders at the top of the ticket?
There must be intelligent, relevant people in Congress other than Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, but we don't get to hear much of what they think and say. The media keeps our focus on dimwitted corporate toadies like McCain and Bachmann and Ryan. I want the media to stop glorifying the dimwits who were elected by dimwits and start reporting on what the educated, intelligent representatives have to say. That could go a long way toward encouraging the public to think.
Today's news from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.): 113th Congress: Vice President Joe Biden administered the Senate Oath to Sen. Bernard Sanders during a swearing-in ceremony Thursday on Capitol Hill in Washington, The Associated Press and WPTZ-TV reported. Senate Progressives: The progressive movement sees the 2013 class of liberal senators as a historic opportunity to shift the Democratic Party to the left. Four progressive incoming senators join Sherrod Brown, Sheldon Whitehouse, Sanders, Jeff Merkley and Al Franken, CBS News reported online. Elizabeth Warren is “left of Bernie Sanders on some issues,” Politico’s Jonathan Allen said on MSNBC. Fiscal Fallout: Sen. Bernie Sanders was critical of the compromise despite voting in favor of it. “It’s not a good piece of legislation by any means,” he said. “I gave some thought to voting against it, but upon reflection, it’s clear to me that the alternative would have been a lot worse.” At the very least, Sanders said, the compromise spared middl ...
If you had to make a list of politicians whom you consider honest individuals, who would you include? My list: Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Walter Jones, Mike Gravel, Bernie Sanders, Justin Amash, Russell Feingold, Gary Johnson, Jill Stein, Rocky Anderson, Virgil Goode, Rand Paul, and perhaps even Elizabeth Warren. Feel free to criticize my list if you wish, or include your own below. -SA
Yesterday someone asked me if Blue America is cracking the whip on the candidates we raised money for during the election cycle to make them oppose cuts to Medicare and Social Security. Cracking the whip? On who? Bernie Sanders? Tammy Baldwin? Elizabeth Warren? Alan Grayson? We didn't back candidates who need whips cracked to get them to fight to protect working families. We backed candidates who were running so they could protect working families. Let me start with our old friend, Matt Cartwright, who ran against corrupt corporate shill and Blue Dog Tim Holden and whipped his *** in the primary. Matt is now the Congressman-elect from PA-17. Matt is the quintessential example of why Blue America doesn't have to remind any of the candidates we backed to stand up for working families. This is why we backed him when others hung back and when Steny Hoyer was hysterical about "party loyalty." 2014 is a long way off, right? Not really-- and not far enough away for Blue America to start figuring out who we'll b ...
Does anyone know if there's an app that would allow me to automatically sign any petition put forward by Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren?
I would like to thank Al Gore, Ed Schultze, Bruce Springsteen, Nate Silver, Chenk Uynger, Bernie Sanders, Matt Damon, Bill Clinton, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, NPR, Elizabeth Warren, the People of Ohio, the People of Pennsylvania, Tom Morello and every strong, intelligent woman who saw the writing on the wall and voted down oppression in favor of progress! I would also like to thank President Obama and his Family for tolerating and rising above the offensive and insulting, derogatory and racially motivated vitriol with a class and poise befitting a First Family!
I would be overjoyed to see a presidential ticket of Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders for 2016. :)
Pagan Liberal via CounterPunch (official) The Tea Party is now clearly a distinctly minority faction. It’s prospects for obtaining future majority rule are small. The most radical (Todd Aiken) and shallow (Scott Brown) Senators lost. Reformers like Elizabeth Warren and Tammy Baldwin won. We now have powerful voices for progressive reform that can join figures like Bernie Sanders in pursuit of curbing the “finance gone wild” that has put our economy in the doldrums for the past four years. To be clear, these same Senators will have to also take on their own President to achieve these reforms.
My favorite election winners: Obama (Yes we can overcome voter suppression and bully billionaires), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), everybody's favourite communist; Elizabeth Warren, who took back Ted Kennedy's Senate seat in Massachusetts; Joe Kennedy III, who won Barney Frank's Congressional seat in Massachusetts; Tammy Baldwin (D-wI), the first openly *** US senator ever elected; Jon Tester (D-Montana), the Indiana and Missouri Senate races (where the two 'rape' Republicans went down to defeat), Maine and Maryland for approving *** marriage, and probably Washington State too; Colorado and Washington for moving toward legalization of marijuana; California for modifying (at least slightly) its 'three strikes' life imprisonment law and Michigan for opening the door to. a second Windsor-Detroit bridge.
A Senate with Tammy Baldwin and Elizabeth Warren joining reelected Sherrod Brown and Bernie Sanders is a better place.
Way to go President Obama. Way to go Elizabeth Warren and Joe Kennedy and my dearest Massachusetts (may I find my way back to you someday). Way to go Chris Murphy (for the nice figure four leg lock on Linda McMahon). Way to go Bernie Sanders. Way to go Maine (to allow same-sex marriage). Way to go Tim Kaine. Way to go Dianne Feinstein. Way to go Sherrod Brown. Way to go Maria Cantwell and Washington State (for voting to allow same-sex marriage and to legalize marijuana for all uses). Way to go Claire Mccaskill (for shutting that whole Todd Akin thing down).
Obama just won Pennsylvania. He is winning in Colorado and Florida. Elizabeth Warren just won a new seat and Richard Murdock just lost in Indiana. Only bad news is Andy Barr took the 6th KY district. Bernie Sanders was reelected happily.
Congrats Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Sharrod Brown on your election and re-election to the Senate Great for women Richard Mourdock loses!
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders delivers a fiery endorsement of Elizabeth Warren for U.S. Senate on Sunday morning at the annual Labor-Legislative breakfast in Pittsfield. Eagle reporter Derek Gentile will have the details in tomorrow's paper.
We should thank Massachusetts if they elect Elizabeth Warren for Senate. She'll immediately rival Bernie Sanders for most honest Senator.
Bernie Sanders is coming to Greenfield this Sunday at 1:30. Canvassing for Elizabeth Warren to follow (but not required).
Not one talks to the American People directly, its all politician talk. Talking points. Nothing real. Its not like Dennis Kucinch, Alan Grayson, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Ron Paul, talk like. They talk like real people, not plastic cardboard cut outs. Nobody talks about Wall Street, the crimes of derivatives, GMO, the corruption in washington, democrats and republicans stealing from food stamp funds, the new deal, oh I dont know WAR, predator drones, civil liberties.
For America to be on a different path in 2016 from that of 2012, progressive movements will have to “occupy” all the levers of power—in Washington, in the states and in the streets. Most immediately, that means strengthening the progressive coalition in Congress that includes Senators Sherrod Brown and Bernie Sanders, who are up for re-election, and adding crusaders like Tammy Baldwin and Elizabeth Warren to the mix. The Nation Magazine: The Editors | October 3, 2012

The New Year begins Sunday at sundown and I feel the energy slowly building. I finally began classes yesterday and am so excited by the heightened consciousness and the ongoing state of correction; it has moved me out of stasis, emotional paralysis, etc..I see old friends, loving family, new friends and I feel your love and warmth radiating the Light. The Democratic Convention replenished my soul and reminded me how much I love my country. Elizabeth Warren, Bill Clinton, Bernie Sanders, (who was not at the convention because he's an Independent), etc., simply radiate good will and common sense. It is clear that their energy is strong and focused because their actions are well-intended; they flow forcefully outward as though those who skim stones along the surface of a brook, will change the pattern of movement in nature. Sometimes our decisions are less than, but if our intentions are to bestow, we're halfway home. I wish everyone in Anaheim, including my teacher, Hagai and all the wonderful mentors ...
It probably won't happen, but I would love to see Elizabeth Warren for President in 2016 with Bernie Sanders as her running mate. Since he's an independent, though, the changes of that are very slim.
I believe Elizabeth Warren could be the first female President! (But I want Bernie Sanders, first!.in 2016)
Franklin D. Roosevelt, who stood up to the banksters unlike any of today's leaders excepting Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, battled daily with the would be plutocrats of his day and beat them back with a constant salvo of verbiage buffered with pro-people legislation. He held them at bay. He knew that given the chance, powerful businessmen would take control of our government. He called it fascism. And that is where we are today. The Supreme Court's decision by its right wing majority in the case of Citizens United has opened the floodgates to a tsunami of corporate contributions without precedent in our dying democracy. America needs a new FDR to stand steadfast with the people or fascism is just around the corner.
The only politcians i left that i really like: Chuck Schumer (Democratic Senator-New York), Kirsten Gillibrand (Democratic Senator-New York), Andrew Cuomo (democratic governor-New York), Bernie Sanders (independent senator-vermont), Rick Lazio (former republican house rep-New York), Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (democratic house rep-florida), And i like both Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren (Mass. senate race) but i like Warren better, Lisa Murkowski (independant governor-Alaska) and John Huntsman (former republican governor-utah and former US embassador to china)
I’m all about Elizabeth Warren; she’s my favorite Senate candidate this cycle and someone whom I think will have the kind of integrity to do “the right thing” for Americans like a Bernie Sanders out of Vermont. It’s pretty amazing
