anyone else see this? Belleville News Democrat reported this today. WHAT A SHAME! "Fraud charges are expected Wednesday against a Belleville woman who police said fraudulently claimed to have terminal cancer and then accepted money from fundraisers to help pay non-existent medical bills and to support her family. "The community rallied around this woman, holding several fundraisers to support her and her family," Belleville Police Department Detective Sgt. Mark Heffernan said. "Belleville police continue their criminal investigation and have presented some preliminary information to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office." The woman is not being named because she has not been charged. Heffernan said the suspect was in custody and being interviewed by detectives Tuesday. He said he expects the warrant review process to be completed within 24 hours. Police were approached a month ago by people who helped organize fundraisers for cancer victims, including for the supposedly terminally ill woman, acco ...

Please pray for my friends. also the parents, friends and family! Career as a great lawyer, at the early age of 52, had unexpected and massive heart attack and died. As appeared in Sunday's Belleville News Democrat letters written by Leon Anderson (whom I do not know, but applaud) "Well. if Obama is going to take credit for the success of businesses then he must also take the blame for the high crime rates. Bonnie and Clyde, Dillinger, and Al Capone used the roads in their crime sprees, and we know Ted Bundy did. I'm sure every crook in America who ever robbed a bank used the highways to elude the police. Both arguments are equally stupid."

DEEP THOUGHT OF THE NIGHT: I think that even if everybody in the 618 made 40 thousand dollars a year and up, it would still be a lot of violent crimes. Simply because stupidy is more common than poverty yall. And notice how I said 618, because it's not just East St. Louis. They just get all of the headlines in the Belleville News Democrat. And that's exactly the reason I'm not sure if the area can be saved because HOW DO U FIX STUPIDITY? I'm still hopeful a change will come but the violence has been building up since the 90's.
