I have a collection of nearly 5000 cover songs in my mp3 collection. 1. Dolly Parton - Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin) Yes, I know it sounds weird, but it is really a good cover 2. Sheryl Crow - Behind Blue Eyes (The Who) I actually think her version is better than the original!! 3. Bill Parsons - She Blinded Me With Science (Thomas Dolby) - This is a folky acoustic version of the great electronica song from the 1980s 4. Prozak for Lovers - Aqualung (Jethro Tull) - This is a Lounge Version of the great classic rock tune. Prozak for Lovers has a number of fabulous cover songs on their album 5. Band I was given The Who Very popular band in the era I grew up in late 60's and 70's Unfortunately I never have seen them in concert Drummer Keith Moon died way too early they continued with another drummer but just wasn't the same in my opinion Favorite album - Who's Next Favorite song - Squeez Box - Behind Blue Eyes - Magic Bus
Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine [-] Much of Who's Next derives from Lifehouse, an ambitious sci-fi rock opera Pete Townshend abandoned after suffering a nervous breakdown, caused in part from working on the sequel to Tommy. There's no discernable theme behind these songs, yet this album is stronger than Tommy, falling just behind Who Sell Out as the finest record the Who ever cut. Townshend developed an infatuation with synthesizers during the recording of the album, and they're all over this album, adding texture where needed and amplifying the force, which is already at a fever pitch. Apart from Live at Leeds, the Who have never sounded as LOUD and unhinged as they do here, yet that's balanced by ballads, both lovely ("The Song Is Over") and scathing ("Behind Blue Eyes"). That's the key to Who's Next -- there's anger and sorrow, humor and regret, passion and tumult, all wrapped up in a blistering package where the rage is as affecting as the heartbreak. This is a retreat from the '60s, as Townshend d ...

Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit is one of my favorite songs of all time
Thank you Gil Mendez for telling me about the classic albums: the Who, Who's Next. I just finished watching it. I had seen it before on VH1 classic but since it wasn't DVR'd I wasn't able to pause and rewind to see pieces again that went by too fast. Being that it's on Netflix, that wasn't a problem this time. I posted lyrics of the songs as they came up in the film, but only the "other songs" lol. Since this album has three of their biggest hits, I didn't post the lyrics for Behind Blue Eyes, Baba O'Riley or Won't Get Fooled Again, as I'm sure that anyone over 35 and a FB friend of mine has undoubtedly heard those songs a couple of times lol Once again, thank you Gil, good lookin' out.
Pete Townsend's new biography is really good...such an insight, and completely different to "Behind Blue Eyes"...there's a man that has mellowed and less cynical about the world..interesting to read an honest insight from a true Genius..

The Who concert was great last night! They performed Quadraphenia in its entirety, from beginning to end! Next, they finished the night with some of their hits, like Behind Blue Eyes, Who Are You, Baba O Riley (Teenage Wasteland), Pinball Wizard, We Won't Get Fooled Again and others. A fun night!
I'm still in shock. The Who concert was beyond amazing. Hard to believe they're still rocking after all these years! They we're just so fantastic live I can't even find the words. They played the entirety of Quadrophenia (straight through!!) and then four of my favorite songs, Who Are You, Behind Blue Eyes, Baba O'Riley, and ended with Won't Get Fooled Again. Hopefully I will recover sometime this week.
Pinball Wizard, Behind Blue Eyes, Won't Get Fooled Again, Pure & Easy are my favorites. The Who are so good!
They did all of Quadrophenia and then the biggest hits. (Pinball Wizard, Behind Blue Eyes, etc).
"Wow! I wanted to tell you how how much I enjoyed your staff during the Camp. Top notch in every way and very helpful. Everyone was always asking what they could do to help. An incredible experience! This was my fourth Camp! Our band clicked! Friends for life!! I frickin' sang "Behind Blue Eyes" with Roger Daltrey! Dream fulfilled! Thank you again for your professionalism and kindness. I can't wait to return!" MP
I haven't heard Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit in forever!!!
Pandora gets it really right sometimes. Behind Blue Eyes makes a lot of sense on Screaming Trees channel. Too much Soundgarden though
They delivered unbelievably! I know every word of Quadrophenia-Then they did most of greatest hits-Won't get Fooled Again,Behind Blue Eyes,Pinball Wizard,Baba O'Riley, etc And Zak Starkey, Ringo's son driving The Who engine & Pete's Bro, Simon--Rock royalty The Who and a Beatles son He is great-easily could have chosen an easier gig but had to play with the best, like dad Ringo-Right Joyce Rose?
man Larry Lovejoy is trying to say Limp Bizkit cover The Who's Behind Blue Eyes is better... I beg to differ The Who all the way... Opinions please.
On the next Acoustic Storm, we'll focus on Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Genesis in the eye of the storm... The Who were great. Pete and Roger can still rock. Interestingly, Zac Starkey was on drums and Simon Townsend was on guitar and sang. A good time was had by all. You could hear the whole place singing along on a few songs, like Behind Blue Eyes.
Can't stand Limp Bizkit, and yet I love the song "Behind Blue Eyes" at the end of Gothika, which is totally Fred Durst. Man I make no sense

Imagine for Ariel: You have been friends with One Direction for two years now. You met them back at the X-Factor where they first perfomed in 2010 and became good friends almost instantly: always getting into some trouble, long nights at the local clubs, movie nights, and races to get to the food before Niall ate it all. It was now Christmas Eve 2012 and you were at Harry's flat getting ready with the lads and girls for Louis' birthday party. Eleanor was in the loo doing her hair, Liam, who was partially dressed, was chasing Niall down beacause he had stolen his trousers, Zayn was gelling his hair and Harry was fiddling with his tie in the mirror. Noticing he was probably going to choke himself from several failed attempts, you got up and made your way over to him, "Here, lemme help." you say, removing his hands and fixing it yoursel; his chocolate brown curls hung in front of his eyes as he watched you work. When you finished, you patted him on the chest, "All done." you declared cheerfully. He smiled at ...

;;Runes Roach;; Runes walked through the grassy grounds of the school, wrapped up in an extra large hoodie, the emerald hood pulled up over her hair. She had decided to skip her last class that day, feigning a headache that just wouldn't go away. Rather than try to heal her, knowing that look in her eyes, the nurse had just sent her to her dorms. The Dungeons had only kept her content for so long before she suddenly needed to go outside. The fresh air would help her clear her mind, right? She tucked her hands into the central pocket and stared at the ground, feet carrying her off towards the Quidditch pitch... The only place where she always felt free, always felt happy, always felt comfortable. She reached out, her sleeve falling down her arm a bit. A Brush of Greatness Ronald Reagan was Just a candidate for the Republican nomination back when he came by the US House of Representatives for meet and greets with members, and having some photo opportunities. They were not called Photo Ops back when people still used short hand. I was just a Cloakroom Page and high school kid with hair issues. I liked Reagan and wanted to meet him and shake hands. So, I left my post and headed over to Statuary Hall. He was standing in the middle of his advisers and security as I came smiling in. I know it seems odd that I would like Reagan, but I did. I preferred him to Gerald Ford in 76. Not because I remembered Reagan from his Death Valley Days TV Show, but because Ford was on the Warren Commission, which I had real problems with, and he pardoned Nixon for the Good of the Country, which I also had problems with. Ford of course beat Reagan in the end, and Jimmy Carter fortunately beat Ford. If I could have I would have voted for Carter, but I was to young at the time. A ...
Scorpius cleaned himself up after his rough night with his falling out with Rose and then babbling to Nora. He'd set up his projector in an abandoned classroom with a wide choice of movies to pick from. He had popcorn and butterbeer and he'd also transfigured a few desks into a couch and some pillows on the floor. He'd brought his blankets from star gazing as he set everything up. He wore a white tshirt with black jeans and his beloved green chucks. He drew a map to the room on some parchment along with a single sentence, "Meet me here? -Scorpius" he folded the parchment and flicked his wand as it zoomed off to find Runes. He was excited to see her. He knew once she was here, he'd feel so much better again.

-It was a calm, warm morning, and the mountainside that Tenrai was living in was abnormally bright. Hovering in the sky above the North-Western part of the mountain was a large ball of unstable white Ki, giving off amazing amounts of light to the surrounding area. Underneath the ball of Ki was Tenrai in his Great Ape form, sitting on the ground seemingly exhausted. He had spent the last day and a half training in his Great Ape form, attempting to push himself farther and attain a new power. So slowly Tenrai's ape frame stood up, slightly hunched over for a second before rearing back and a immense Ki erupted from his body, shaking the mountainside around him as he began to take to the sky.- "I will get stronger!!" -Tenrai's deeply altered voice howled this at the sky, as if declaring it as a promise to God himself, that he would grow from what he currently was and attain a new power. Slowly the brown fur that covered Tenrai's ape body began to stand on end, while sparks of electricity started to dance acr ...

Ezekiel Chapter 23 The Adultery of Two Sisters 1 This message came to me from the LORD: 2 “Son of man, once there were two sisters who were daughters of the same mother. 3 They became prostitutes in Egypt. Even as young girls, they allowed men to fondle their breasts. 4 The older girl was named Oholah, and her sister was Oholibah. I married them, and they bore me sons and daughters. I am speaking of Samaria and Jerusalem, for Oholah is Samaria and Oholibah is Jerusalem. 5 “Then Oholah lusted after other lovers instead of me, and she gave her love to the Assyrian officers. 6 They were all attractive young men, captains and commanders dressed in handsome blue, charioteers driving their horses. 7 And so she prostituted herself with the most desirable men of Assyria, worshiping their idols and defiling herself. 8 For when she left Egypt, she did not leave her spirit of prostitution behind. Eze 23:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Eze 23:2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother: Eze 23:3 And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity. Eze 23:4 And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah. Eze 23:5 And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours, Eze 23:6 Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses. Eze 23:7 Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself. Eze 23:8 Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay wi ...

(writing this afternoon. this one is a pain in the *** I'll get it...) Stone understood belief - at least, as far as most understood it. Belief was sort of like a wish, right? A hope for things to come. People believed in things all the time. Sure. They believed the sun would rise tomorrow. They believed mountains would fall, crumble to dust one day, into the sea maybe. Even civilizations would fade, eventually, into the dim, grayness of time. They also believed, hoped, they wouldn’t be around to see it, of course. This came with the territory, too. But was this belief or was it understanding they felt? A certain kind of knowledge and surety that came with hard living. Change was a constant. Stone understood change too well. Maybe belief was something different than this, huh? If this were case, Stone didn’t know and didn’t bother to question it. Save impossible beliefs for people who believed in impossible things, he thought, if there ever was a difference between the two. *** i ...

The words have been drained from this pencil, Sweet words that I want to give you, And I can't sleep, I need to tell you goodnight! When we're together I feel perfect When I'm pulled away from you I fall apart All that you say is sacred to me Your eyes are so blue, I can't look away As we lay in the stillness You whisper to me, amy marry me, Promise you'll stay with me.. Oh you don't have to ask me, you know you're all that I live for You know I die just to hold you, stay with you Somehow I'll show you, that you're my night sky I've always been right behind you Now I'll always be right beside you So many nights, i’ve cried myself to sleep Now that you love I love myself I never thought I would say this I never thought there'd be you

Anyone seeing anything odd underneath the Sun in the southern sky? I got a call about it, went and looked, but didn't see anything.
Limp Bizkits cover of Behind Blue Eyes is atrocious.
Salvador Late or Early by Sandra Cisneros Salvador with eyes the color of caterpillar, Salvador of the crooked hair and crooked teeth, Salvador whose name the teacher cannot remember, is a boy who is no one’s friend, runs along somewhere in that vague direction where homes are the color of bad weather, lives behind a raw wood doorway, shakes the sleepy brothers awake, ties their shoes, combs their hair with water, feeds them milk and cornflakes from a tin cup in the dim dark of the morning. Salvador, late or early, sooner or later arrives with the string of younger brothers ready. Helps his mama, who is busy with the business of the baby. Tugs the arms of Cecilio, Arturito, makes them hurry, because today, like yesterday, Arturito has dropped the cigar box of crayons, has let go the hundred little fingers of red, green, yellow, blue, and nub of black sticks that tumble and spill over and beyond the asphalt puddles until the crossing-guard lady holds back the blur of traffic for Salvador to collect them ...
Chapter Sixteen Battle of Yiro, part three "We need a miracle. Cleaning up this mess!" said a Hope soldier, carrying a dead droid. "Relax soldier, we'll get it cleaned up in no time!" said Gator. Gator and the Hope soldier were in a large area near the wall of the city; the houses in the area were nearly destroyed but still stood. They were piling bodies of droids up on each other. Only one Cyclone ship remained in the sky, but it was quickly destroyed by the Hope ships. "Oh yes! Now all we have to do is destroy the droids, and the city is ours again!" cheered the soldier. "Keep focused on-" said Gator, but as he was about to finish... The ground shook violently, which nearly made both of them fall over. "What the *** was that?" asked the Hope soldier. "An Earthquake?" suggested Gator. "Yiro doesn't have earthquakes..." said the Hope soldier, nervously. "GATOR!" shouted an angry voice. Gator looked up and saw Reptilian standing one of the houses, his eyes were still twitching. Reptilian jumped down an ...

A Dream In visions of the dark night I have dreamed of joy departed- But a waking dream of life and light Hath left me broken-hearted. Ah! what is not a dream by day To him whose eyes are cast On things around him with a ray Turned back upon the past? That holy dream- that holy dream, While all the world were chiding, Hath cheered me as a lovely beam A lonely spirit guiding. What though that light, thro' storm and night, So trembled from afar- What could there be more purely bright In Truth's day-star? - A PÆan How shall the burial rite be read? The solemn song be sung ? The requiem for the loveliest dead, That ever died so young? II. Her friends are gazing on her, And on her gaudy bier, And weep ! - oh! to dishonor Dead beauty with a tear! III. They loved her for her wealth -And they hated her for her pride - But she grew in feeble health, And they love her - that she died. IV. They tell me (while they speak Of her 'costly broider'd pall') That my voice is growing weak ...
His hands cupped Aqua's breasts, carving into his senses how her skin felt like against his hands, the kiss turning now more savage than before, as he nipped her nipples, eliciting a weak pained whimper from Aqua. The taste of her lips was incredibly intoxicating, not compared to the other girls he had ravished, who to him, would taste dully. He broke the kiss, and took the first nipple at his reach between his lips, sucking harshly from the nub, groaning in approval at the new sweet flavor that invaded his tongue. Aqua bit down her lower lip, not really used to pleasure but enjoying wholly the moment, loving how Vanitas' tongue kissed, licked and savored her skin. She could feel the blood gather in her cheeks (1) and every single drop of sweat slide down her skin. Feeling his erection forming, Vanitas' hands wandered to Aqua's legs, stroking rather savagely her thighs, then forcing his way to her mound with one hand, caressing her *** through her panties, not surprised in the least that she was already . ...
It was a quiet morning on Pinewood Street, the quiet of an early summer morning. Rowan was reading the sports section of the newspaper. His favorite team, the Falmouth Falcons, had won last night against their rivals. His father hadn’t let him go to the game even though he’d begged and pleaded. Even worse, his house didn’t have a TV so he couldn’t watch the game. Although, it wouldn’t have been on TV anyway. Thankfully, the Daily Prophet supplied a play-by-play analysis of the game. The Falcons had gotten an early lead and the Wanderers weren’t able to get the lead back. When Chippings caught the snitch, the Wanderers had slouched all the way back to Wigtown while Falmouth was filled with celebration. Of course, Rowan wasn’t allowed to participate in any of it. His father thought that eleven year olds were too young to do just about anything. Especially since it was the night before Rowan’s last day of school. His father’s job took up a lot of time, working as head of Department of Secur ...
So just something I wrote real quickly, hope you like :)... A silver bell rang as the shop's door opened. A young girl stood at the doorway, warily looking around the bakery. Her eyes fell on a raven haired girl behind the counter, who seemed to be enjoying an afternoon nap. The young girl entered, slowly making her way towards the napping girl. Before she could make it all the way to the counter the other awoke from her sleep. "Welcome," she smiled, "How may I help you?" The young one became hypnotized by the other's vibriant blue eyes, but managed to say, "I'm lost." Before the raven haired girl could reply a browned haired came from the back, "A costumer?" She looked around but was only met by the smile of the raven haired girl, "Are you talking to yourself again, Miyako?" Miyako turned back to the young girl, "Not really."
Here's my head cannon!:D "Mommy!" I heard my little girl yell to me. I told Peeta that I'd be right back. We were in the middle of watching The Capitol Games. I walked into the hallway and saw the ladder was down leading up to the attic. "Prim! What are you doing up there!" I climbed up the ladder franticly and lifted myself up onto the surface. There she was, in the corner of the room with her face buried in a dusty cardboard box. My box.. My Hunger Games box. "Prim, did I give you permission to be up here?" She faced me with her eyes wide open. She stood up when I noticed what she was wearing. She had on my sister Prim's reaping outfit. Her dark brown hair was braided to the side just like mine. Her hands were full of glittering things she had found in the box. “You’re beautiful… just… tuck your tail in, little duck.” I said, starting to cry. I should've seen this coming; I knew I'd have to tell my children of my haunted past. “Prim, darling... You can’t…” Tears overflowed the banks of ...

Chapter 9 600 years ago, somewhere near Ponyville… The sun, bold and beautiful, floated peacefully in the expansive ocean of the sky. It was a perfect day. Pinkie Pie began it by opening her window and yelling "GOOD MORNING, PONYVILLE!" at the top of her lungs. Then, eager to have fun with her friends, she bolted down the stairs and, quite literally, bounced out the door, but not without yelling a good morning to Mr and Mrs Cake, the baker couple, and their twins, the Baby Cakes. The pink earth pony continued on her way to her friend Twilight Sparkle's house, firing off rounds of "Hello!"' and "Good Morning!"' to everyone she passed. She wondered what Twilight was doing today, hopefully doing something fun cos she liked fun things, like magic tricks or something, but maybe she's just reading those dusty books of hers, but she couldn't really blame her cos she does live in a library, even so, maybe Rainbow Dash was practicing her Sonic Rainboom and needed somebody to cheer her on, cos Fluttershy isn't ve ...
It's a great day in Washington D.C for all people
For sam: You've just stormed out of Louis's flat, your eyes swollen from all the crying. Not to mention that it's raining. Terribly. You were so hurt that you didn't bother to grab anything, not even your jacket. As you're striding down the sidewalk, you cover your trembling mouth, your eyes beginning to water again. It was intolerable to know that he's extremely mad at you. He's never acted like this before, and- All of a sudden, someone grips onto your other wrist. You're spun around, now face to face with Louis under his umbrella. His eyes are narrowed and darker than usual. LOUIS: "Hold this," he mumbles, his eyes never leaving yours. Without hesitation, you accept the umbrella, wrapping your fingers around the handle. With your jacket in his arms, he opens it. He throws it behind you and over your shoulders. Louis: "I'm still angry with you," he states, his voice deep and rough. He adjusts the jacket, pulling the collars forward to comprise warmth, "But you getting sick is the last thing I'd want to ...
Challenge for today. Name a better harmonizing group than CSN. e.g Suite: Judy blue eyes. Outfield was good too.
For all of us baby boomers out there - those were the days! How did we Survive? Looking back, it's hard to believe that we have lived as long as we have. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pickup truck on a warm day was always a special treat. Our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paint. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors, or cabinets, and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets. We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. Horrors!!! We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then rode down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times we learned to solve the problem. We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. No cell phones. Unthinkable!! We played dodge ball and sometimes the ball would really hurt. We got cut and broke bones and b ...
A young woman lies beneath the out-stretched branches of a weeping willow. The green grass is soft beneath her. Daisies as yellow as the sun bathe themselves in the rays. Puffy white clouds slowly pass by on a gentle blue sky. The girl watches the willows branches as they sway in the warm breeze. Her long, dark, hair caresses her face. Smiling as it tickles her cheek, she tucks her untamed hair behind her ear. Her dark green eyes notice an army of ants scurrying busily on the bark of the willow. Across the field, a small fawn peeks out timidly behind some brush, but quickly retreats into the woods behind it. Sparrows sing in the branches above. Beautifully colored butterflies softly flutter from one flower to another. The girl is still as one easily lands on her long white dress. She studies the brilliant blue on the butterflies wings. After a moment, it flies off to join the others on the flowers petals. The girl takes a deep breath. Mountains surround her. She wiggles her toes in the cool dirt beneath . ...

About with the man behind blue eyes.
I am in the depths of the moat intense prayer session I have ever had, with more practice I will start to levitate several feet from the ground
You remember that maid that had told sun to go home early yesterday? Yeah, she is not a nice person. She told the master of the house about how Sun had left early. Sun was probably in trouble now. Currently, Sun was outside and tending to the garden.
While being positive may be more uplifting, occasionally going negative can be, well...funnier. In that spirit I've decide to start another top ten list: Awkward lyrics from songs from People Who Should Know Better. Love The One You're With. Stephen Stills is a clever lyricist and when writing heartfelt lyrics like Four and Twenty or Suite Judy Blue Eyes can be quite moving, if a touch bathetic. But you can just smell his resistance to the above/love cliche that produced: Well there's a rose and a fisted glove, And the eagle flies with the dove, And if you can't be with the one you love love the one you're with (Do do do do do do do, etc.) OK, I get the "silver lining" idea but, sheesh!
Here hoping that as a nation we can make some progress in the next few years in coming together around our shared American values of inclusion, justice, the common good, individual rights, equality, and stewardship of the land and of our children's future...urban or rural, young or old, red or blue, D or R, rich or poor, white or black or brown or yellow, *** or straight, conservative or liberal. One Light, One Soil...One American Dream. = Inaugural Poem ‘One Today’ Published: January 21, 2013 Following is the text of the poem, “One Today,” delivered by Richard Blanco, the inaugural poet. = One sun rose on us today, kindled over our shores, peeking over the Smokies, greeting the faces of the Great Lakes, spreading a simple truth across the Great Plains, then charging across the Rockies. One light, waking up rooftops, under each one, a story told by our silent gestures moving behind windows. Image for Kaylyn,,! Prom. The most important night in a teenage girls life. I was frantically running around in my room trying to find my bright pink lipstick. I was already wearing my long light green plain prom dress. My hair down in lose girls with a braid at the crown of my head. I was wearing a beige lace high heels with bows on top of it. My makeup was almost complete with light green eye shadow decorating the top of my eyelids, some black eye liner and mascara. It was really simple but it still looked gorgeous. Now all I needed was my pink lipstick to complete the whole look. I currently bend down on the floor looking under my bed for the lipstick “Is this what you’re looking for?” I heard the voice of my mom say behind me. I crawled up from underneath the head hitting my head in the process letting out a quite whimper and rubbing the top of my head. When I got up and turned around to look at my mom she was holding the lipstick in her right hand with a smile on her face. “Ahh thank you mom! ...
I feel like I'm back in high school. I'm in my hometown in Texas, driving my father's car, making plans to go to Avila's and Charcoaler. Then I pulled up behind a truck at a light, a teenager driving, his girlfriend on the bench seat next to him. I can't remember the last time I saw two teens sitting next to each other in a car. Memories . . . Did you ever sit next to a boyfriend in a car?
The downtown McDonald's on Broadway was robbed last night shortly before midnight... The suspects locked the employees in the freezer and left in a blue PT cruiser, supposedly. -- I would describe the type of rifle the suspects had but I don't want to read another 30 irate comments from people who see a grand-conspiracy behind every pile of dog poop. -- Also, other descriptive information has been scrubbed from this post so as not to conflict with popular delusions, as per usual.
So I missed the President's speech. How did you like it?
I loved how i schooled my aunt. She insisted behind blue eyes was MADE by linkin park even though it was made by THE WHO in the 1970's
For Abby: You turn on the PlayStation, he starts looking around your room, and then he finds your guitar. -Hey, babe… You play guitar? – He asks. -No… But I wish I could… - You said while he picks your guitar. -I can teach you babe. – He said and smile for you. -Really? – You smile – That sounds amazing! – You turn off the PlayStation and you sit on the bed. He sits behind you, you hold the guitar and he holds your hands from behind, he kisses gently your neck while he rubs your hands. -I’ll teach you the ‘’One Thing’’ okay? – He asks while you smile. -Sure! He teaches you the notes for the guitar, and finally you learn the chorus, now he’s teaching you the rest of the song. -No babe, put your hand right here. – He said while he rubs your hands and kisses your cheek sweetly. -Here? – You ask. -Yeah… - He said in a deep and sexy voice. 3 hours after your mother knocks your room door. -Come in – You said. -Honey a men is downstairs waiting you guys. -Who? – You ask ra ...
this isnt anything amazing its quite old. well. 4 years to be specific. :) so there will be mistakes Alex pushed her way through trees and bushes as lightning lit up her surroundings. She kept running, running through the forest. She was so angry, so… so upset. She wanted to get away from everything, get away from the life she could not bare. Alex was a girl of powers but could not bare them no more. She had brown hair that was as long as her shoulders and a bit more. She was wearing a white tank top with mud stains, grass stains and rips all over it. Black cargo trousers with mud stains too, but not that noticeable. Her white trainers dripping with mud splattered all over them. She was soaked head to toe but her blue eyes kept glowing and shining. Alex had a rough time back at home. She couldn’t stand how people had treated her, wanting her to be used to talk to spirits. She hated having an open mind, she could see or talk to spirits but the spirits could also talk to people through her. Alex was ...
10...9...8...7... The countdown rang for the 74 hunger games. Jane looked around, quite panicked, several tributes glaring right at her. Jane was one of the smallest of all the volunteers. She was exactly 14, her long black hair in a ponytail all the way down to her back, her eyes an ice blue and her texture pale. Her friend from her district on a plate straight across from her. Nick Valentine, a boy that would be considered fit. He is 16, brunette with natural blond highlights. Grey eyes with blue flecks and tan. 3...2...1... He nodded towards her giving her a wink, reminding her to run for the forest as fast as she could where they would meet up by a river. As soon as the the countdown hit zero she ran as fast as she could, her hair flowing behind her as she grabbed a bag on the way to the forest. Her Agility and stamina would make up for her lack of strength as she climbed up trees, jumping from branch to branch. She would keep going until she found a river, climbing up higher in the tree. Jane watches ...

This is a continuation of Jake's story: In June 2003, my friend Angie Mendum Poore was visiting from Germany. We agreed to meet down in Fort Benning, GA and then she and her kids would come home to TN with us and stay a while. We had stopped outside of Nashville to visit some family while on the way to Fort Benning. I was a little uneasy visiting them because they were heavy smokers and it really terrified me to have Jacob in that enviroment. So, we didn't stay long. I had contacted another friend, Angela Edwards Smith, and planned to stay with them while at Fort Benning to get the other Angie. We arrived at the Smith's and had a nice visit. We went to bed. Julianna & Justin were alseep in one bed, and Jacob was in his bassinet at the foot of the bed I was in. Around 1 a.m. "something" woke me up...I awoke in a panic.I laid there for a few seconds, then jumped up to check on Jacob. I will never forget the look on his face: his eyes were wide open, and he was terrified! He was blue and not breathing! I gr ...
There's a law in Maryland thats been on the books for a few years now, saying if you are on parole and you happen to get shot or become a victim of a violent crime, your parole will be violated and you will go back to prison. Believe me, I seen it happen with my own two eyes a few times. Now lets do the knowledge on that...Any where you go in Maryland, from a city like B-More to a county like Frederick, majority of the gun shot victims is young black males. I'll say about 95% black, 4% hispanic, & we all know who that little 1% is. So I guess it's safe to say that this law targets young black males. But you won't hear your politicians that you break your neck to vote for speak on anything like that. Peace to Obama & his family..But to me, it really doesn't matter who they draft to be president when there's a "shadow govnerment" calling the shoots behind your blue blood, celebrity politians. Do the knowledge oon that... If I could vote it would be for Sharpton, or my man Farrakhan..They scared to death of ...
Imagine Chapter One Short info: You've just finished high school, and now you're studying law in London. No boyfriend, no duties apart from having fun and being good at the university. You're name is Ann, you're a good student and you're turning 19 this summer. So let the show begin. It was one of these Fridays I just had to go out and have fun. I had been reading books about Law and Politics the whole day, and I was tired of stupid, big books. I would have actually learned till deep in the night, as ambitious as I am, if my roommate hadn't animated me to go out dancing a bit. Here name was Audrey, a beautiful, funny, and intelligent young women. Cheeky and flirty, just like me. She got my best friend since I got here a year ago, and I'm so lucky about having her. I heard her opening the door. “An?”, she yelled. “Audreyy!”, I yelled back. “Oh babe, your still studying these boring books?!” “As you can see.”, I answered. “You've gotta stop now, I'm really sorry love.”, she said as she . ...
kaylee and niall Imagine you were sitting at home on a Friday night, eating a huge bowl of ice cream and watching some rubbish programme on the television. Niall and the boys were on tour and you were really missing him. You hadn't seen him since he left for the first show which was a few weeks ago. You needed to see him, but he was so busy. There was a knock on the back door, which was strange as you needed a key to get through the gate to get to the back door. You put down your bowl of ice cream on the little table in the middle of your living room and walked to the back door. You grabbed your keys of the kitchen counter and unlocked the door. It was summer time, so it wasn't too dark, but the sun was beginning to creep further and further down the sky. You pulled the door back and saw Niall standing there. 'Heya babe,' he whispered, standing there awkwardly. You stepped out of your house and flung your arms around Niall's neck. He placed his hand's on your waist gripping you tightly. You could feel his ...
*a group of angels was gathered in a room furnished in mellow whites and holds, the majority of them seated around a large table that held several maps and scrolls. The small group held 3 female angels and 4 males, none appearing to be above 19, except for a woman with curling blonde hair cropped neatly to her chin level and a pair of sharp blue eyes. Her armor had been replaced with a business suit and she sat stiffly in the chair at the head of the table, expression emotionless. Her head snapped up as a door appeared in the wall across from her and a young angel walked in through it before the door faded back into cream colored wallpaper. Standing up with a sudden movement that overturned the chair she had been sitting at, the older of the angels stalked around the table and up to the new arrival, her eyes narrowing in a business like fashion* Well, you're not the leader, so where are they? *she snapped, tone brisk* *the younger angel shook her head, the feather wings that sprouted from her back shrinki ...
Taylor Swift RED Big Machine Records: BMR10400A * Sixteen-song, fourth release from country music’s sweetheart Excitedly revealed by Taylor herself through a late night live YouTube chat with her fans back in August, the explosive RED—released worldwide October 22, 2012 seems to mark a distinct leap into musical (and songwriting) maturity for the talented twenty-two year old. And I have to say, she does it remarkably well. After all, Taylor hasn’t won a colossal amount of awards and accolades, plus more chart and record sale success than you could shake a stick at, for just sitting pretty. Oh no; beneath the blond curls and behind the majestic grey-blue eyes, there’s a very clever young woman with a wealth of talent, drive and passion for what she does best and this is certainly the record to take the world by storm yet again. Reassuringly, the country-pop element is still there—I Almost Do; All Too Well and Begin Again are stunning examples of this, besides undercurrents of it existing in the . ...

The Dining Philosophers problem is a classic case study in the synchronization of concurrent processes. It will be familiar to many students of Computer Science, but is applicable to many situations in which several independent processes must coordinate the use of shared resources.
Spirit Music - The First Story of SPIRITS OF JEROME Somebody, somewhere once said something about your life flashing before your eyes when you die: about your entire life playing out in public like a movie before Saint Peter and all of your doings in that mortal coil are known. There was supposed to be a reckoning. At least then you would know exactly where you stood with the Almighty and exactly why you were being judged the way that you were. Turns out none of that was true. I still don’t even know if there is an Almighty: or a Saint Peter for that matter. I don’t know anything outside of this constant drizzle, the deep, penetrating, brutally cold rain that moved like silent icy fingers, easily ignored for just long enough to be deadly. But it wasn’t deadly. Nobody could die that way anymore. It wasn’t even really cold anymore. It was more like …. the memory of being cold. From that time before, that time that was just out of recollection: like the fleeting wisps of a dream that is almo ...
Potty training is so not what I thought it would be. Munchkin is 3 and 1/2 and fighting us tooth and nail on this. She has been sitting on the potty for 45 mins and still has not gone. Blue eyes asked to go and was on and off in 10 mins. Our goal, by May, is to have the older two 100% out of diapers. Blue eyes, I can see by March, but munchkin may push it to June. We know w/ her that it is pure and simple control and at some point, she will, but until then who knows?
My interview with MLK's attorney/speech writer and his precious love, Lyn: The Wind Beneath his Wings Heather McKeown Inflight He was wearing a leather jacket and matching western hat when I met him sitting at the boarding gate at SFO. There was a brace on his right hand and wrist to help his newly injected-with-cortisone carpal tunnel syndrome. I could tell he was tall and handsome even as he sat, laptop busily being worked on his lap. There was a genuine warmth about him and I sat down to his right when I found out he was on my flight to JFK, just to know him a bit more. I took his forearm and hand to check out that horrible condition and asked if he was a writer. “Yes. I had to write a lot last year to finish a book.” In answer to further questioning I learned that the gentle fellow was a professor with a PhD in history. Stanford being the institution he told me about. He spoke of the average education turning out graduates whose only discernable goal was to earn enormous amounts of money. A ...
Today is another chapter that everyone will see or be remembered about, and it kills a lot of you to the core! My grandfather and grandmother grew up in the raciest mess and had every chance to raise their kids to only see 1 color. My grandmother and mother chose not to guide me that direction, I was taught to treat everyone equal and see no color as GOD has asked us to do. We all have or own opinions about whats right and whats wrong, We are quick to play the blame game when taxes go up, Like every president has not done that before. But it really hurts when you take a step back and see the big picture it was never about what side of the fence they are on, But when you see it's because it the color of his or her skin. It hurts when it's friends from years back and hurts when it with people you work with. Today marks a day that these words from a great man has/is being ignored. "In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent wor . ...
My mother, dead now these past eighteen months – may God rest her soul – was a fanatically superstitious woman. Her ancestry, a combination of strict Catholicism and Irish folklore, had resulted in a potent blend which caused her to view life as a series of potential transgression (some valid, some merely fanciful) which might culminate in any one of a million unwanted outcomes should she step over some mystical line. It was a matter of good fortune for me that my father, although a virtuous man, was totally lacking the imaginative capacity to believe very much in either religion or superstition. He would acquiesce to my mother’s demand that spilled salt be thrown over his shoulder where, she firmly assured us, it would hit the Devil square in the eye. Keys, errantly placed on the table, would be removed by him and the underside of ladders were always avoided. All these sanctions were borne well by him and he always played along with a look of mild amusement, total disbelief or loving indulgence, ac ...

4 of 5 stars to Behind Blue Eyes by Anne-Marie Klein
10 songs are done for the acoustic collection that I'm putting together. When I reach 20 songs, I'll choose a full CD's worth of tunes and the collection will be available only directly from me (and possibly only at shows). It might be a series of CD's. If I do that, when I make the next one, I will likely make the earlier one(s) unavailable. So far, it's half and half covers, which is basically unheard of for me, but I am not second guessing. Whatever songs present themselves to me when I pick up the guitar are the ones I'm recording. The songs (so far) for volume 1 are: 1. "Flying Down Juniper" (Lindsey Buckingham), 2. "Fragile" (The Caulfields), 3. "Save It For Another Day" (Original), 4. "Working Class Hero" (John Lennon), 5. "An Uncertain Flight" (Original), 6. "Behind Blue Eyes" (The Who), 7. "Liar's Dance" (Robert Plant), 8. "You Belong To Me" (Original), 9. "Hold On" (Original), 10. "I Know Too Much (For My Own Good)" (Original). I think an obscure Willie Nelson song, a Leon Russell song, and a f ...

I will sing Behind Blue Eyes to you and we will be best friends.
Brief review of the Who concert: Brilliant! Seriously, these guys can still rock ... performed Quadrophenia in its entirety, then went on to great versions of Behind Blue Eyes, Who Are You, Won't Get Fooled Again, Baba O'Reilly, Pinball Wizard and ended with Tea and Theatre. There were guest appearances via video from Keith Moon and John Entwhistle (integrated into the live music very well) ... and Ringo's kid Zak Starkey shows he can drum better than the old man! Played well over 2 hours without a break. Whew!
OK, the Who concert was incredibly good. Awesome seats, great company. The band can still bring it. Pete can still play and Daltrey still has his voice. "Behind Blue Eyes" & "Baba O'Reilly" were epic. Zak Starkey (Ringo's kid) is the best drummer I've seen this side of John Bonham. Very touching video tributes to John Entwhiste & Keith Moon. nice evening.
What a show. Pete Townshend must have lubed up his shoulder because he was windmilling like a madman. Thanks to modern technology there was a cameo performance by John Entwistle on 5:15 doing a magnificent bass solo on the big screen, and also one by Keith Moon who did some of the vocals on Bell Boy. Roger Daltrey sounded excellent, you could tell they changed some of the keys so he didn't have to reach all the high notes, and he acknowledged as much, joking about his senior moments. After they finished Quadrophenia, they took a breather while Pete introduced the band. Btw they had a great horn section! They continued on with Baba O'Riley, Pinball Wizard (more windmilling by Pete), Behind Blue Eyes, Who Are You and a rousing version of Won't Get Fooled Again. After that was finished, all the band left the stage except Roger and Pete, and they finished with a beautiful acoustic version of Tea And Theatre from the Endless Wire album. The only negatives from the entire experience was $11 beers and when the W ...

Article: One Common Ancestor Behind Blue Eyes Jeanna BrynerDate: 31 January 2008 Time: 03:34 AM ET People with blue eyes have a single, common ancestor, according to new research. A team of scientists has tracked down a genetic mutation that leads to blue eyes. The mutation occurred between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. Before then, there were no blue eyes. "Originally, we all had brown eyes," said Hans Eiberg from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Copenhagen.
"Behind Blue Eyes" is such a great tune! The best song Limp Bizkit ever wrote, by far
