Arlen Specter is a FORMER REPUBLICAN, who coincidentally, helped save Clarence Thomas’ nomination to the US Supreme Court and helped assure the confirmations of Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito. The fact is that during the entire time that Frank Scaturro worked with Senator Specter, he was a REPUBLICAN. Does it make sense that Frank Scaturro should be held responsible because Arlen Specter switched over to the Democrats in a pathetic attempt to save his seat in the Senate??? That’s like holding George Washington responsible for Benedict Arnold going from being one of Washington’s most trusted and able Generals, and a hero of several Revolutionary War battles (see Capture of Fort Ticonderoga, Battle of Ridgefield and Battles of Saratoga), to being a traitor who switched sides to the British!!! How asinine!!!
