OK I need your help: I am looking for a band name. The band is formed we just don't have a name. So far the best idea has been The Wire. The band is a contemporary rock band, think Foo Fighters, Stereophonics, Jimmy Eat World, Black Eyed Peas, Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The Killers, Pulp, Kasabian, Marron 5, The Strokes, KOL, Muse etc. Your ideas would be really appreciated. This is serious people! Need a name! Also on a separate note, if we call ourselves The Wire for example, does that inhibit our results on a google search or benefit them?! Do we get lost in the TV show search results or would we come up because of them?! Thanks in advance!

Incubus radio is my favorite because it always plays Black Keys, Paolo Nutini, Foo Fighters, & Arctic Monkeys.
random observation I jsut had to repost this. From a Guardian article on "Is guitar music dead". "Ed Sheeran is most definitely guitar music and he's massive. His lyrical content is too immature for me (because I'm an old git) but the way he integrates snatches of singing styles from more contemporary music forms is a good example of how there is always something new to do in songwriting. Adele is also guitar music (she has stopped playing the guitar live, but still wrote all her megahit songs on guitar) and she sells more than everyone else put together. Keeping the blues thing going in the mainstream is Jack White, and then for scratchy sort of adolescent guitar bands with George Formby on vocals, we the Arctic Monkeys. What cannot be tolerated any more is the kind of guitar music like Foo Fighters, and all heavy metal/hard rock, where the lack of musical imagination is camouflaged by a surface layer of faux-rebellious noisiness and a kind of athlete-style approach to playing drums and guitar as fast as ...
Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Radiohead, Slipknot, Muse, ACDC and Foo Fighters are my favourite bands and music. What about you?

Sao Paulo - you have done me proud in concerts over the past 2 years, but it is nearly time for Richard to leave the building.
