READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL: COMMENDED TO THE WORD. FRIDAY,SEPT 5TH,2014. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32). The Apostle Paul couldn’t think of a better way to bless the brethren at Ephesus than to commend them to the Word of God. As Christians, we’re born of the Word (1 Peter 2:23); the Word gave birth to us; therefore, our lives can only be built and sustained by the Word. From the moment you made Jesus the Lord of your life, the building process began; the Word builds you spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, and in all areas of life. Furthermore, the Word is able to “give” you an inheritance among all those that are sanctified. This is quite an interesting thought. The Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul, wrote this to the Church. Why would He say this to Christians who already have an inheritance in Christ Jesus? ...
I love Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke for his passion and focus to lost souls just like Apostle Paul. God bless you Sir.
One SECRET TRUTH I located in NIV is this: The Bible reads in Colossians 1:14 (KJV), In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. The NIV reads, "In whom We have redemption, the forgiveness of sins". The NIV leaves out the phrase "THROUGH HIS BLOOD". Some people justify the NIV as simply a Bible that "update the Old English words of the King James Bible, " but is not True, as is seen here. What is not understandable about the wore BLOOD? The only cure, there is for sin is through the pure, holy, sinless BLOOD of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says "without shedding of blood is no remission".(Hebrews 9:22). Users of the NIV says, that is only one drop of the word BLOOD, so just leave the translators alone. Hmm will bring my Secret Truth of NIV Which causes HIV to the church of Jesus Christ. Thank you. Apostle Paul said in 2 Tim 2:15 " rightly dividing the word of truth". Thank you All To be continue. Let All stand for Truth about God Word.
WORK FOR A GIVING NOT A LIVING. If you defined by the salary you earn, where then is the evidence of the supernatural in your LIFE Son of God? There are too many people who see their Job as the source of their prosperity. This is opposed to God's idea. In Ephesians 4:28, the Apostle Paul showed us the reason for working: it is so we can have to give. It's as simple as that. So declare to yourself, " I WILL NOT LIVE FROM PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK." The change begins with that simple statement. The Apostle Paul said, " I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). Again he shows us the mentality we must have as God's children. THAT JOB YOU'RE DOING IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO HAVE MONEY TO GIVE. Someone might be asking Sister Carolyn, my salary is not even enough for me; how will I survive if I give out of it?" Well that's the reason you should sow for a harve . ...

ALWAYS VOLUNTEER TO INTERCEDE IN PRAYERS FOR YOUR NATION AND ANY OTHER NATION IN CRISIS, LIKE EBOLA OUTBREAK. MAIN TEXT: Romans 9:3 AMP. ‘’For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off and banished from Christ for the sake of my brethren and instead of them, my natural kinsmen and my fellow countrymen.’’ Apostle Paul loved his country Israel so much that loved to even lay his life for his nation. Does the crisis situation of your country affect you? Do you feel the need to fast and pray for your nation, and that of all nations in serious Ebola outbreaks? What you intercede for in prayers, you prevent it from coming into your life. Let us learn to daily intercede for African countries in Ebola outbreaks, and it shall not come to our nation.

1500 Year Old Bible Claims Jesus Was Never Crucified A Bible which is reported to be at least 1500 years old was discovered in Turkey and inside it there is a Gospel of Barnabas. The book was moved by Turkish government to one of their museums by way of police escort. Barnabas was one of the disciples of Jesus Christ, and in the Gospel of Barnabas, it states that Christ was never crucified. It reads instead that he rose to heaven while alive and Judas was the one crucified instead. Additionally, this ancient Bible declares that Jesus was not the Son of God, but only a prophet who spoke the word of God. The book also calls the Apostle Paul “The Impostor”. In a press release that was sent out by the Turkish government, it said that the Bible was snatched from a mob of smugglers in a Mediterranean region operation. The report explained that the group was accused of trafficking antique relics, performing illegal archaeological digs, and being in the possession of explosives. The book itself is believed to ...
FAITH IN ACTION Hearing My country Ghana is considered in the comity of nations as the gateway to West Africa. Meaning, we have been rated amongst the nations found in the sub-region as high. It also means that investors would prefer setting their business operations here before expanding to our neighbouring countries. Friends, your ears, like my country, are key gateway to your frame of faith. Indeed, prolific writer, the Apostle Paul, wrote in the Bible that faith comes by hearing. Mark the same way, fear comes by hearing too. What you hear determines how you act. When Peter saw Jesus walking on water, he wanted to do same too. But he didn't want to mistake Him for a magician. He clarified who he wanted to hear from. He said, 'if it is You, ask me to come'. In other words, if it is not Him, he would not have risked his life at all. What have you been hearing concerning your dream or your future? Are you listening to men who speak hopelessly or you are inclining your ear to God who speaks hopefully? The ...
I saw a picture this week that I cannot get out of my mind. In the midst of all the raging violence in the Middle East and partisan talking heads debating the finer points of foreign policy, I saw an image of a father holding the body of his dead - and mutilated - daughter. My soul churned within me, touching only the smallest fraction of this man's grief as my mind went unwillingly to the place of picturing my own son, lifeless on my arms, terrorized and tortured before death. I feel as though my world would end. And this is what thousands upon thousands of fathers and mothers and brothers and sisters are facing everyday. And we talk politics. It brings into sharp focus the words of the Apostle Paul to one of his young protégés: "God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God ... But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, an ...

SEVEN GREAT TRAGEDIES THAT CAN BEFALL A MAN: In an age bedeviled with depression, regrets and the likes it is possible to live a fulfilled life. Gods thoughts towards us are always thoughts of peace and not of evil. However most times men fall into some challenges because of their choices. Below are seven great tragedies that can befall a man on the journey of life. 1. REFUSAL TO BE BORN AGAIN : If you are not saved you are not safe. Any man outside God's kingdom is heading for a disaster in this world and in the world to come. 2. LACK OF VISION/PURPOSE: When purpose is not known, Myles Munroe says,'' Abuse is inevitable''. Scripture says ''Where there is no vision the people perish''. 3. WRONG MARRIAGE: It is better to remain unmarried like Apostle Paul than to marry the wrong Person. Wrong marriages has succeeded in capsizing the ship of so many. 4: SEXUAL IMMORALITY: This has more grave consequences beyond your imagination. It is not cheap. By means of a whorish woman, a man is reduced to a loaf of bre ...

Luke 2v28 Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath. Isaiah 66v22-23 We shall gather and worship God in the new world on the same day. Genesis 2 God made the Sabbath day blessed and hallowed on the seventh day. Saturday is the seventh day of the week. Sunday worship of man and hate was began in 321 AD by a Roman ruler named Constantine. Notice the church, government and systems of this religion are all based on saying peace peace but their is no peace only hate and more hate for their demon practises of idol and worship of god's which are all man made up religions. Their is a way that seems right to man but the end thereof is destruction. Choose whom you will serve this day says Joshua the General and prophet of God, as for me and my house we shall serve the LORD. Their is no longer Jew or Gential but once we come to faith we are all of Christ says the Apostle Paul. Not Chris-tianity which is Christ Cringle Santa Clause a made up idol but of Jesus Christ the Lord of the Sabbath. In him we are sons and heirs of ...

Jesus Came to Save Sinners John 3:17, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” The Bible teaches that Jesus DIDN'T come into the world to condemn anyone; but rather, to save sinners. What a precious truth! It is the Law of God that condemns all mankind. Many people mistakenly believe that the Ten Commandments are a plan of salvation, but they are not. God's Law condemns all of us as miserable failures and guilty sinners (Romans 3:10-23). I certainly don't condemn anyone, for the Bible condemns all of us as guilty, dirty, rotten, *** deserving sinners. My salvation solely rests in Christ's righteousness, because of the precious blood that He gave for our sins. When the rich young man came to Jesus in Mark10:17-22, he was self-righteous. The young man thought that keeping God's Law could save him. He bragged to Jesus that he had kept all the commandments. Jesus pointed out to him that he was covetous, and had not kept the Law perfect ...

SEEK DAILY Sunday, July 20 1 Corinthians 10:9-13 GOD’S FAITHFULNESS IN OUR TEST …God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear…1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV Life’s journey is full of valley and mountain experiences. These, sometimes, paint God as unjust or unfaithful. However, it does not dispute the fact that God is a loving and caring Father. God allows certain things to happen in our journey in life to see how faithful we are to Him; to check our stability and dependency on Him. The Israelites failed to acknowledge the faithfulness of God in their distress and His acts of deliverance, provisions, miracles, even in the wilderness. They thus frustrated His grace and election over them and were destroyed by fiery serpents (Exodus 17:1-7; Numbers 20:1-13, 21:4-8). Apostle Paul wants you to consider the mistakes of this people and learn from them. Do not provoke God because of what you are passing through. Do not look at your problem but focus on God who has the authority to so ...
7/20 at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church we'll be exploring Romans 8:12-17 and looking at one of the Apostle Paul's favorite concepts for describing our inclusion into the life of God via grace...that concept is ADOPTION. Romans 14 Explained By Chris Barr Rav Shaul (Apostle Paul) was a MASTER of Torah. He often quotes or alludes to Old Testament Scriptures without ever mentioning the Scripture that he is quoting or to which he is alluding. Romans 14 is one of those very common instances. Yes, it is about "personal convictions" and "personal scruples" but it is in the context of Old Testament Scripture. It is more specifically about "traditions of men" that as The Saviour noted "Makes The Word of none effect". Oh, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with vegetarianism. What then was Paul talking about? He was talking about fast days. The whole 14th chapter of Romans is about food and how people's beliefs about fasting should not be interfered with. The fast days could be observed according to each believer's conscience. A man could eat or not eat, keep the day or not keep it. Each man could observe FAST DAYS, or not observe them, according to his own convictions. He that does not eat, regards the day. He that eats, does ...
Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? If NOT.WHY NOT! What are you waiting for ...since the promise is unto you and to your children and to those that are afar off and that includes us Gentiles.even as many as the Lord our God shall call... I hear him calling...YOU! Paul said, I speak with tongues more than ye all...If the Holy Ghost evidenced by Speaking with other tongues wasn't for everyone than this could only be an arrogant and prideful man speaking but NO this was the compassionate Apostle Paul who could wish himself accursed so that all Israel could be saved. This man named Paul was a man on a mission to reach every man, woman and child with the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus. Who when unmercifully whipped for breaking no law but simply casting out a devil, and with no pain meds in his body and with blood splattered all over his body having not had his wounds yet cleansed and dressed would speak to the jailer who was much like the police officers which you just witnessed in the ...
The best decision u can make in life is u telling urself u want to live d life of God. Apostle Paul said daily I die and the life I live not my own. That's a starting point if u r asking ow to go abt ur life.

Lightening the Load When we get into the storms of life, it is often difficult to know what to do. It can feel like the noise of our troubles drowns out everything else. In Acts 27 we find the apostle Paul caught in the midst of a horrible storm. The ship was being tossed all over the place, and the situation was becoming quite serious. Embedded in this story is a spiritual truth that can guide you and me when we get caught in the storms of life. It is found in verses 18-19, And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. On the third day we threw the ship's tackle overboard with our own hands. Notice that when the storm got bad and threatened to capsize the ship, they lightened the load. Sometimes in a storm you need to throw some things overboard. In fact, it is a great time to evaluate any baggage that you are carrying in your life. There are some things that may not be a sin to you, but they are a weight to you.

Always Try And Benchmark Yourself, Against The Best...In The World With the World Cup, still fresh in our minds, I am reminded of one of my earliest memories, in following this tournament: - the tournament of 1974! I was still a little boy, but I followed the progress of the African teams, as they tried to qualify for the few places, available in those days. My family lived in exile, in Zambia, at the time, and together with my friends, we followed Zambia's progress, until it was knocked out, by the mighty "Zaire" (now Democratic Republic of Congo): We were all in absolute awe of the Zairian team, as they conquered one team after another, in Africa, on their way to the finals... Surely, this team could go all the way! I heard people arguing passionately that Zaire, would probably beat Brazil... After all Pele had just retired. None of us, had ever seen Brazil play, or Pele, or any other team for that matter... There was no live television. I read in the newspaper that Zaire used "black magic", and a lion ...
I love the apostle paul's writings no matter what stood firm in his faith.
At some point in our lives, every one of us has missed out on God-given opportunities. Maybe you can think of a few right now. If so, I want to encourage you: Don’t live in regret. Don’t let lost opportunities make you feel disappointed and discouraged. God is bigger than your lost opportunities. No matter what has happened in your past, He can still get your life back on track! It’s sort of like using one of those GPS systems in your car. You set the location to where you want to go, and the GPS calculates the best route. You can be driving along and get distracted and completely miss the street where the GPS instructed you to turn, but that doesn’t mean you’ll never reach your destination. You wouldn’t just pull off to the side of the road crying and say, “Now I’m stuck here. I’ll never get where I need to go all because I missed my turn!” No, there’s always another way to get there. In fact, that GPS system will instantly recalculate the route to your destination based on your pre ...

Evening Devotion Kodi pakati pa Apostle Paul ndi ma health-wealth-prosperity angawa, wokamba zoona zondipulutsa ndi ndani..?: 1 Timothy 6:5-11. 5) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6) But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11) But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

One truth many folks dont get to understand is that even the most committed believer has those days and times when fear and worry can kick in. Anxiety can becloud and overwhelm us. It may be we are so anxiously concerned about our future. Maybe we are discouraged or afraid. If that is the case, you might be surprised to know that even the great apostle Paul experienced emotions like this. Paul had gone to Jerusalem, and the next thing he knew, he was locked up in a cold, damp & dark prison. All of this happened as a result of his bold proclamation of the gospel. Acts 23:11 tells us, "The following night the Lord stood by him and said, 'Be of good cheer, Paul.' That phrase be of good cheer could be better explained "be of good courage." Whenever we read in Scripture that an angel of the Lord appeared and said, "Fear not," it was usually because someone was afraid. So I conclude that when the Lord himself stood by Paul and said, "Be of good courage," the apostle needed that special word of encouragement at t ...
LOVE, PAIN AND THE MYSTERY OF SEPARATION Love is beautiful but it can also ravage and destroy. It brings pleasure and it brings pain. It brings joy and it brings sorrow. It brings light and it brings darkness. It brings laughter and it brings tears. It brings peace and it brings turmoil. It brings tranquility and it brings turbulence. It brings serenity and it brings rage. It brings passivity and it brings aggression. It brings selflessness, kindness and generosity and it brings cruelty, sadism and masochism. It brings restraint and balance and it brings wild passion and extreme emotions. It brings the promise of a new dawn and it brings the testimony of a tragic sunset. It is indeed the greatest paradox that has existed since the beginning of time. God IS love yet He created satan, the harbinger and apostle of hate, death and destruction. The songwriter wrote ''love hurts, love scars, love wounds''. Another wrote ''sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead''. How true this is. How poigna ...

In a day when runners seem to be dropping out on every hand, there are times when it is easy to be discouraged about your own race. To Win Souls, Forgo Personal Gain I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:12, 13, NKJV. In every age Satan has sought to impair the efforts of God’s servants by introducing into the church a spirit of fanaticism. Thus it was in Paul’s day, and thus it was in later centuries during the time of the Reformation. Wycliffe, Luther, and many others who blessed the world by their influence and their faith encountered the wiles by which the enemy seeks to lead into fanaticism overzealous, unbalanced, and unsanctified minds. Misguided souls have taught that the attainment of true holiness carries the mind above all earthly thoughts and leads men and women to refrain wholly from labor. Others, taking extreme views of certain texts of Scripture, have taught that it is a sin to work—that Christians should take no thought ...

Over 2000 years ago, the early church supported the work of the Lord by providing relief to the Apostle Paul and fellow brethren during their missionary trips. In like manner, a team of believers largely from The Cornerstone Church of the Open Bible, Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago will embark on a missionary trip to Tucupita, Venezuela from July 10th to 14th. This team will be led by Rev. Frank Johnetty, host Pastor of The Cornerstone: Church of the Open Bible Church. The aim is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ as we follow the example of our Lord who also ministered to people in both a spiritual and a tangible way. He prayed for the sick and he fed the poor. The word of God will be preached each night while Children’s Ministry will take place in t ...

Rhapsody Of Realities Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Theme: Maintaining The Glow: A Continual Experience! Date: Wednesday June 25th, 2014 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame…(Romans 12:11 MSG). Many Christians often seek to know what more they could do to be continually filled with the anointing. It brings to mind an interesting question from a dear viewer during one of our Live TV programmes. He asked, “Pastor Chris, when I’m in fellowship meetings, I feel the anointing so strong, but the moment I leave, it’s like it reduces. What do I do to maintain this glorious presence that enraptured me during those meetings?” Ephesians 5:18 gives us a clear answer; it says, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” The literal meaning of this verse is “be being filled with the Spirit,” which means it’ll be an unending experience. You’ve got a responsibility in this; and in verses nineteen to twenty-one, the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, explai ...
Pastor Mike's Daily Devotion Friday June 20, 2014 (all church prayer tonight at 7 PM) Acts 13:10, and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? Yesterday we saw the Apostle Paul's example of a calling, and today we will see his example of those who will go. As Paul and Barnabas went out on the mission field there were a variety of experiences that they encountered. There were those who did want to hear what they had to offer. We see this in a man named Sergious Paulus, who wanted to hear the word of God and became born again when he believed. However as there are those who are receptive of the preaching of the word, there are also those who withstand the preaching of the word of God. We saw this in a certain Jew named Bar-Jesus. He is described as a false prophet or someone who perverts the word of God. His name (maybe a title) means son of Jesus and it is possible that he was presenting h ...
June 18th ABRAHAM'S CHILDREN John 8:37 "I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you." JOHN 8:33-38 The Jewish people were direct descendants of Abraham. However, as with so many biblical truths, there was much more to the Abrahamic covenant than what a casual glimpse would reveal. In truth, these Jews were not actually a part of the spiritual children of Abraham. The Holy Spirit revealed through the Apostle Paul in Galatians 3:16 and 29 that God's covenant was to Abraham and his singular "seed" or descendant, which was Christ. No one ever became an heir of God's promises through his natural birth. Before Jesus gave Himself as an offering for our sin, the Old Testament saints were justified by faith in God's promises concerning the Messiah who was yet to come. After Jesus' death and resurrection, New Testament saints are justified by faith in what Jesus has already accomplished. No one has ever been saved because of who his parents are. Those who have bee ...

Tomorrow, June 11 at 6:45pm, we will celebrate the feast day for our patron Saint, the Apostle, St. Barnabas, with a Vesperal Divine Liturgy. The holy, glorious and all-laudable Apostle Barnabas was one of the Seventy Apostles and the companion of the Apostle Paul on some of his missionary voyages. He is referenced in Acts and in two of St. Paul’s epistles, Galatians and I Corinthians. Barnabas was born to a wealthy family in the tribe of Levi. Later becoming one of the Seventy Apostles, he studied with Saul (later St. Paul) under Gamaliel. From birth his given name was Joseph, but the Apostles called him Barnabas (“son of consolation”) because he was gifted at comforting people’s souls. It was St. Barnabas who introduced Paul to the other apostles after his conversion. St. Barnabas was likely the first to preach in Rome and Milan. He was martyred by the Jews on the island of Cyprus and was buried by St. Mark. Many receive healing at his grave, which place was unknown for hundreds of years until t ...
GRACE AND LAW ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE by Deirdre June 10, 2014 One of the MANY reasons that I say Paul the Apostle is a false teacher is because he taught that grace and law are mutually exclusive when they are NOT! "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace." - (Apostle Paul - Romans 6:14) Paul states that you are either under the law or under grace, but NOT both, this means that law and grace (according to Paul) ARE mutually exclusive. "Two events are mutually exclusive if they cannot occur at the same time. An example is tossing a coin once, which can result in either heads or tails, but not both." - Wikipedia BUT THE LORD TEACHES US THAT GRACE AND LAW ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE BECAUSE THEY CAN INDEED OCCUR AT THE SAME TIME, YOU CAN INDEED RECEIVE GRACE WHILE UNDER GOD'S LAW ... AS THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO MOSES. "So Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped. Then he said, “If now I have found GRACE in Your sight, ...
Godly leaders are not above criticism. Alistair Begg explains steps the Apostle Paul took to stop rumors:
Today is Andrew Watts's birthday. He's 34 - A Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force currently serving in north Las Vegas at Nellis Air Force Base. He's a carpenter, a very talented marksman and one of the best listeners I've ever met. He's got the patience of Apostle Paul, and a shear talent in the game of golf. He's also my only sibling. That is his curse, and my blessing :) I'm lucky to have him, and even though he's across the country, that's better than being across the world. I hope you enjoy your day, big brother. p.s. I can still kick your butt at ping-pong.
Thirteen Reasons Why I Believe In A Pre Tribulation Rapture: 1 – The Blessed Hope The first reason we believe the Rapture takes place before the Tribulation is because it’s called the Blessed Hope in Titus 2:13. … looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, In 1 Thess. 4:18 the Apostle Paul writes this regarding the imminence of the Rapture … Therefore comfort one another with these words. If the Rapture doesn’t occur until the middle or end of the Tribulation, where’s the comfort in that? Pretend you’d never heard of the Rapture and I was telling you all about the Last Days. I tell you about the horrors of the Tribulation, all the death and destruction that will take place as foretold in the Book of Revelation; the plagues, pestilence, famine, drought, economic and social upheaval on a scale never seen in history. A third of the earth’s population will be wiped out, then later another fourth! I briefly chronicle the rise of the antichrist ...

SEARCH THE WORD OF GOD John 5:31-40 Rev. Dr. Samuel P. Fernandez To search is to look through in trying to find something, to seek, to study and to probe. Followers of the faith are admonished to search the Word of God. The Word of God is a lamp and a light to illumine our hearts and minds. As Frank W. Moyle would have it: “The question of authority of the Bible need not trouble the humblest reader. It is not ‘a code which fell from the sky, guaranteed by an ecclesiastical imprimatur,’ but a collection of writing which breathes upon us the only authority that is worth regarding – the authority of the power of the Spirit.” (Watchman – Examiner) Cardinal John Henry Newman wrote: “I read my Bible to know what people ought to do, and my newspaper to know what they are doing.” Apostle Paul wrote his spiritual son, Timothy, thus: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (II Tim 3:16) L ...
How do we use the Word of God to attack Satan? a. Let's imagine that you are being tempted to say something unkind to someone. (1) Before you commit the sin, defeat Satan by quoting (Eph. 4:29) to yourself or out loud “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs.” (a) When you quote a Scripture, it disarms the desire and the temptation. b. We need to memorize Scripture so we can defeat Satan. The Bible says in (Ps. 119:11), that we need to hide the Word of God in our hearts, so that we will not sin against Him. Whatever sin you are tempted to commit, memorize a specific verse and use it's power to defeat Satan. 4. I believer that not only are we to quote Scripture to defeat Satan, but we are to use the power of Jesus' name. There is power in the name of Jesus. a. Believers are baptized into His name (Acts 2:38). b. Believers are forgiven in His name (1 Jn. 2:12). c. Believers pray through His name (Col. 3:17). d. ...

The Apostle Paul said the churches in Macedonia were being tested by many troubles and were very poor, BUT they were FILLED with ABUNDANT JOY. The overflow of that joy was RICH GENEROSITY! (2 Corinthians 8) So, generosity is NOT the fruit of an abundant bank account, but an abundance of JOY! You may be blessed with wealth, yet lack in JOY, and ultimately lack in being a blessing to others!
"Servants, respectfully obey your earthly masters but always with an eye to obeying the real master, Christ. Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God. Good work will get you good pay from the Master, regardless of whether you are slave or free." Apostle Paul

you ought to congratulate yourself like the apostle Paul said!
Let the recording angels write the history of the holy struggles and conflicts of the people of God; let them record their prayers and tears; but let not God be dishonored by the declaration from human lips, “I am sinless; I am holy.” Sanctified lips will never give utterance to such presumptuous words. {AA 561.3} The apostle Paul had been caught up to the third heaven and had seen and heard things that could not be uttered, and yet his unassuming statement is: “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after.” Philippians 3:12. Let the angels of heaven write of Paul’s victories in fighting the good fight of faith. Let heaven rejoice in his steadfast tread heavenward, and that, keeping the prize in view, he counts every other consideration dross. Angels rejoice to tell his triumphs, but Paul makes no boast of his attainments. The attitude of Paul is the attitude that every follower of Christ should take as he urges his way onward in the strife for the immort ...

Praying for others is somthing I try to do often. In my life right now I cannot help others in any other way. So I pray often for God to bring someone into the life of whom I'm praying for. But I was looking for more information on this and found this sermon which will help me in my prayer life. Little Giant Ladders
The Apostle Paul had it spot on, if we are citizens of heaven, then that is where our focus should be. "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory." (Colossians 3:1-4 NASB)
I think we should. How Paul the Apostle Was A G, lesson one.
"Ye Are Sanctified" I Corinthians 6:11 The hodgepodge theology of those who teach progressive sanctification (progressive, increasing holiness and decreasing sin in the believer's nature) is so inconsistent with the gospel of God's free grace salvation in Christ and with my personal experience that I long ago gave up trying to understand them. IF, AS ALL AFFIRM, SANCTIFICATION IS ESSENTIAL TO SALVATION, THEN WORKS HAVE NO PART IN IT. IT IS ALL OF GRACE! If one means, by the term progressive sanctification, that believers grow in grace we have no quarrel at all. But if their meaning is that believers gradually attain higher degrees of holiness by something they do, or are enabled of God to do, we do have a quarrel. Nowhere in the Word of God are men admonished to sanctify themselves, except in a ceremonial sense, under the symbolism of legal worship. SANCTIFICATION IS GOD'S WORK OF GRACE IN MAKING COMMON, SINFUL MEN AND WOMEN HOLY. When holiness can be looked upon as a progressive thing, then may sanctific ...

We can not deal with the sin of homosexuality any different than they dealt with it in the scripture. The Apostle Paul first let it be known that those who were homosexual would not have any part in the Kingdom of God and he made no exceptions to it. In fact when he wrote the Corinthian church he made it clear that we were not to fellowship or even eat with a person who is called a brother and is immoral. This of course has to do with individuals who rejected God’s word and embraced these sins as a lifestyle. Its interesting that Paul never treated this as a mental illness but as a sin which means it has to be over come the same way we over come all sin through death, resurrection and by the renewing of the mind. It’s amazing to me that we believe the scripture has the answers to every problem except this. Paul said consider the members of your earthly body as being dead to immorality, passions, evil desires and greed which amounts to Idolatry for it is on account of these things that the wrath of G . ...
A Devotional for such a time as this(3): - from: Read.Pray.Worship.Live.: Teaching the Fundamentals _ The Elements of Worship What is Worship? In doing a study on the topic of worship, there are many angles from which we could approach the subject and a great number of passages from which we can choose. For this particular study, there is one Bible passage in particular that we want to focus the majority of our attention on: Romans 12:1-2. It is here that we find the Apostle Paul giving us a very clear and life altering description of what true worship is, along with instructions for how we are to worship. Let us begin by reading the passage: Romans 12:1-2 (NASB) - 1Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and p ...
THE TRUE REASONS BEHIND WHY GOD GAVE MORTALS ON EARTH THE TORAH, THE HOLY BIBLE and HIS SON Jesus Christ. IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD. FOR GOD SEND NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMNED THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED. The name of Jesus Christ and the purpose of the MISSION of the SON of GOD to the Earth have all been destiny by GOD to happen on earth even before your GENERATION, so mortals please stop judging the things of GOD on earth, accept it as it is because the HOLY BIBLE and the NAME of Jesus Christ are all properties of JUDAISM and have been with the WORLD for a PURPOSE. Jesus Christ and his mission on earth came to transformed JUDAISM in to the NEW COVENANT of the JEWS and GENTILE living together in PEACE forever on EARTH under the grace of HEAVEN; that is why the third JEWISH TEMPLE on earth is for the JEWS and GENTILES (Rev 11: 1-3). Jesus Christ and his MISSION on earth did not FORMED CHRISTAINITY, his disciple didn ...

The Old Testament is full of prophecies of Jesus. Here's just one found in Ezekiel. This should help you Muslims understand why Christians are free to eat pork and don't need to follow the rituals of Judaism. The Apostle Paul taught what Jesus revealed to him through the Comforter A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart (the Law of Moses) out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh (the crucifixion of Jesus and the New Testament). And I will put my spirit (the Holy Ghost) within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.(Ezekiel 36:26-27) God knows man can not do it alone so he imparts his spirit into those who believe in Jesus to help us become more like him.

A Christians Secret- Many times we get to thinking we’d be so much happier if we had more, or if we were somewhere else. Maybe even doing what someone else is doing. We think all our problems would be solved and everything would just disappear. A lot of people have found an escape route and simply found out they didn’t gain the long awaited relief they wanted and the same problems followed them in their new found environment. Some even realized the solution was not running away, but to just tolerate, and put up with it. They soon discover, that which they can’t change, they shouldn’t fret and worry and there are things that they just have to live with it like it is. And, this is a process which has to be learned. Our contentment lies inside of us. The apostle Paul told, He had to learn it too. He learned how to be self contained whether he was humbled or lifted up, whether he was hungry or had plenty to eat. He stressed that the secret to being happy was the indwelling of the strength of Christ J ...
I have taken time to read various posts on Dr. Maya Angelou. She was indeed phenomenal. The thought came to me though that the world did not always see this Black woman as phenomenal. In my discipleship training class last night we briefly talked about the fact that in order for someone to be birthed, someone must die. Stephen died and through his death the apostle Paul was conceived. Who died to give birth to this phenomenal woman who: laid on her back as a prostitute with a man on top of her to one day having the most powerful men in the world sit at her feet during a presidential inauguration--who struggled through divorces looking for love until she found the man who could cast out the demons and give her the peace she desired. Yes, Dr. Angelou was phenomenal. But before the world saw her as phenomenal, she had to see herself that way. If I am correct, her death is intended to mark the beginning of life for someone. Someone who is not known to the world as phenomenal--maybe a single mother clawing and ...

Sherry Pikes wrote: Father, thank You for everything. The throne of grace is where all wants of those who come to it will be supplied. Come then, you who are poor as poverty itself, come you who have no merits and are destitute of virtues, come you who are reduced to a beggarly by Adam's fall and by your own transgressions. Come you, now, and receive the wine and milk, which are freely given. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. All the petitioner's wants shall be supplied, because it is a throne of grace. The one upon this throne is my salvation. When I approach His throne, He holds out a welcoming hand and says, "Come to Me." The Apostle Paul, reminds me tonight that, My God shall supply all my needs." THE MANTLE OF HEALING The mantle of healing has been given to Hilarion. A mantle is a cloak of light, a grid or a forcefield of light that is given to an individual who is sponsored by the Great White Brotherhood or by an ascended master. Worn at inner levels, the mantle contains specific keys that are a formula of light, hieroglyphs of the Spirit—a quality of light necessary to fulfill the office. Hilarion is desirous of working with us for the action of healing, saying: “I come in the fullness of my presence as the apostle Paul and as the fourth-century healer Hilarion, who I was in my final incarnation. It was in that incarnation, beloved, that I balanced all my karma by applying the flame of healing. “Wherever I went, I was called upon to heal, even to heal the wind and the wave and the conditions of the sea. Yes, beloved, there was nowhere that I could go, even out in the desert, where many would not follow me and pursue me and beg for healing. “Blessed hearts, if you would have the mantle of ...
Reach, Teach & Multiply: Good Morning Church, I was talking with a brother from SWCC this morning while driving to work. He was sharing a story of how he was sharing the Gospel with two men, but didn’t feel that it was received well. I want to encourage you as I encouraged him that, to “Reach, Teach & Multiply”, one is very rarely comfortable, it will come with some sort of cost and it will not always be received. So we must remind ourselves that we are only the planters not the giver of life. To “Reach, Teach and multiply” must also not just be something we slap on a t-shirt because it sounds good, it must not just be something we do when it’s comfortable or convenient. It must become our priority; it must become a way of life. A good example of this is the apostle Paul, when we look at his ministry throughout acts and the Pauline letters, we see it was very rarely if ever easy or comfortable. He poured his life into them. He toiled and struggled and labored to see the Church matured and the ...

THE 3 STEP PLAN BY THE LGBT MAFIA TO DESTROY THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH NTEB News Desk | May 28, 2014 THE COMING OF A NEW DARK AGE “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposed and exalted himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 When the Christian church was hit by a hostile takeover in 325AD by Constantine of Rome, it disappeared for the next 1,200+ years into the shroud of pagan Roman Catholicism. We call that period of time the Dark Ages. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20 The Church that Jesus Christ died for and was entrusted to the Apostle Paul did not reemerge until the time of John Wycliffe and the Reformation. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." Today, twenty-nine years ago, I was experiencing one of the greatest moments in my life; I was giving birth to a little girl, named Melissa Noel Gallaher. Although, I was the channel God used to give her life, She was his, before, during and after conception, she was his plan and design, uniquely made in his image. I the mother was given a duty to protect her from all evil, to cherish her and Love her unconditionally. God the Father held Melissa in his hands, and his eyes were always on her, she could not escape the Love of God. She was his from the beginning and to everlasting. Nothing takes God by surprise, he is always on alert, and watchful over his creation and children. He is the Great Shepherd, I know in my heart, that God, the Father was present with Melissa as she departed from this earth. One thing I have learned is the shadow of death can only befall the unborn again person, Melissa was born again. For all of us who are born again, we have walked in the shadow of death, we died with Chr ...
The apostle Paul tells us that God chose us before the foundations of the world...
'DECENCY' Too many Ladies want attention, to the extent that they can do anything to get it. You see some of them parading themselves on the street with revealing clothes like what they call 'show me your front' all in the name of fashion. I am not saying fashion is bad, neither have I say you should steer clear all hints of fashion, because I am a lady, I love fashion, as well as shopping, but I simply limit what I fashions... That is to say I have my own 'Fashion Abormination'...(clothes I can never wear) Too many fashion promotes sex. You need not dress half-naked before you can look good and smart. To be sincere with you, you are only making yourself look so cheap and desperate for attention when you start putting on clothes that reveals all your body parts! It is often said that 'The way you dress is the same way you will be addressed'... How would you feel when you are walking on the road and some guys start harrassing you? I pray that such thing doesn't happen to you! Most ladies has turned Faceboo ...
The debate will continue for many years to the idea that "the pen is mightier than the sword" but as I learned of the graduation of Maya Angelou to the Writers Room of the original Author and Poet the news was as stunning as a sword through my gut and yet, the words from her pen comforted every thought of grief.  Her contagious smile, her words of wisdom, her calm steady voice has been such a part of our culture and heritage that it seemed she was too large to die.  Mayo Angelou is and was so much more than a poet but oh the power of poetry when penned by character and experience.  She had both.            It was in the year 2000 by what seemed to be chance that I was in Washington D C for a gathering of leaders discussing ways to bring conservative and liberals together concerning the plight of the inner city.  At the reception that followed I found myself mesmerized by the hand shake and greeting of this beautiful lady who said, "I am Mayo Angelou and who might you be?" I was blown away ...
"Don't use the Law as basis for your salvation" -- Apostle Paul :D oww !
"Breakfast " Father I thank you so much for the encouraging words the apostle Paul wrote about the Love you have for us . We can all rest assured that even when we are not at our best, and have turned our back on God, he still loves us! The apostle tells it like this And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of *** can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38 NLT) Praise God , and thank you !! In Jesus name amen
As a Christian/ Pastor/ Evangelist I have studied the Bible for over 45 years and may be considered unlearned and old fashioned but I believe there is one thing that is clear , Christ commanded us to take the Gospel to the world everyday! But I am burdened that many of "His followers" want to continue to debate and criticize one another's beliefs. Christ called us to be fishers of men and not learned theologians. I may be wrong but I believe the Apostle Paul agrees!.Just saying as I fish for men!

The beginning of summer always takes me back in time. Those first days after school ended were filled with promise, the promise of baseball games, fireworks, and staying up late. I can remember having a sense of impending adventure. My sister and I would walk through the woods in our neighborhood, searching for any sign of buried or long lost treasure (Usually we would only find broken bottles and long lost candy wrappers). We would bike around our relatively small hometown, exploring different streets for cool-looking houses or stores we had never seen (“Hey, look! A new greeting card store!”) What would each day bring? That’s the feeling I had when I woke up every morning. I can still remember that today, even if those “adventures” seem much smaller now. I’ve been having that “summer” feeling about the Bible that way lately. I know that sounds a little weird, but I’ll explain. Our Three Year Bible reading for today is John 19. As I was writing a blog post on it, I was struck again by t ...
Scofield, consistent in his Antinomian inconsistencies, didn't know how to handle the Book of James either. This comes from his commentary on the Book of James: He describes the writer of James as: "He seems to have been, as a religious man, austere, legal, ceremonial" His description of the book itself: "...his epistle shows no trace of the larger revelations concerning the church and the distinctive doctrine of grace made through the Apostle Paul..." When confronted with an opportunity to repent of false doctrine and prejudicial attitude, to conform to the consistently revealed themes of sound Biblical interpretation, the lawless theologian makes himself the filter against inconvenient truth, deeming his own revelation superior to the inspired writer, he falls back on his own rebellious nature: "throw the book out!"
1. A third of the Psalms are laments. All of the Old Testament prophets except one include a lament. The Bible doesn’t avoid suffering. You won’t avoid suffering. 2. Don’t believe false teaching that says you won’t suffer if you really love Jesus. Jesus will end all suffering eventually, but on earth he suffered more than anyone. 3. When it comes to suffering, don’t ask “Why” ask “Who am I in Christ?” Your affliction doesn’t establish your identity, but your identity can get you through your affliction, if your identity is in Christ. 4. Suffering will cost you a lot of time and energy, so I encourage you to invest it. If you’ve suffered, you have powerful credibility to lead others to the genuine hope found in Jesus. 5. It’s not wonderful that suffering happens, but it’s wonderful that God can use it to help, bless, and encourage others. 6. How are you suffering? What is God teaching you? How can you use it to bless others? 7. If one of the great goals of your life is to be more ...
“The gospel…of which I, Paul, have become a servant.” Col 1:23 NIV Your Mission: To Serve Who am I? What’s my calling? The apostle Paul, who considered himself “not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles” (2Co 11:5 NAS), answers simply: “I am Paul. My role is serving. I am a servant to the gospel and the body of Christ.” Certain folks in the early church tried to determine which of the apostles were the greatest. Some claimed Paul, and others Apollos. But Paul challenged them, “What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe” (1Co 3:5 NIV). Whatever your calling, be it pastor of a megachurch or a lay member, you’re no more—and no less—than a servant. In God’s kingdom class distinctions don’t count. “There is neither Jew nor Greek…slave nor free man…male nor female…you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:28 NAS). We’re servants called to do the will of God wherever He appoints us to serve. And that’s a go ...
THIS ONE THING I DO! Message to everyone at New Life City Church. This is my position and should be the position for all of us who believe the Word of God: The Apostle Paul said, "But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things". Phil.3.13-15. Enough said. Moving forward.
Don't want to do this post but recent private messages has prompted me. Listen up folks... If you are a man or woman, and in a second marriage, don't run off and end your marriage, because some people/preachers are condemning you to *** because they have no knowledge of scriptures or leadership of God's Spirit. I heard a man tell a woman in her second marriage to leave her now Christian husband, and get a divorce. Yes he said, split the family in pieces with out a dad and mom and go back to the first marriage that ended years ago and was abusive! Who made that accusing preacher judge and jury. There is one judge and it is not us! There is a different situation in every child of God's life, that their marriage has ended in divorce. Many have left abusive marriages, some women have been beaten and cheated on, and yes sometimes, it can be the man getting abused. Preacher, are you going to tell your own daughter to stay in a marriage where she is getting hurt daily? Preachers are pushing people to end marria ...
Salvation is a Gift sooo Precious & which no other but God can Offer. But mind u There are wolves all over.U eat & sleep with some of them. They're ur Fbook Frends & whatsapp contacts.Ready to talk your salvation Out of u but don't let them. No wonder apostle Paul said "We shud guard our salvation with fear & trembling" STAND for the Truth. Brother Judas Iscariot was on fire like u & i today untill he let the devil take hold of him & we know how he ended. Don't let them corrupt u. Don't entertain thier Carnal Conversations.Don't flock with them. COME OUT FROM THEM. Pray for them but the prophecy of *** must come to pass.Like it or not ,Some pple must go there. Preach & intercede for them but donot loose ur Salvation- (backslide). I refuse to shut my mouth because if been anointed by God to PREACH the good news and expose the trick s of satan and his advocates.
The “good news” isn’t always that appreciated! In fact, sometimes it is totally rejected – seen as a ridiculous presentation. “Self-sufficiency” and “self-righteousness” always scoff at a “grace truth.” And then sometimes, and in some places – God’s messengers of love suffer with ridicule, harm, imprisonment and even death. The Apostle Paul says this type “suffering” is a sheer gift… So if everyone around you – “doesn’t get it” yet – that is OK! Just continue to live a life that tells them – God loves you COMPLETELY, and we do too!
The third book of John contains perhaps the most famous verse of all scripture (As in John 3:16). But I am afraid that much of the impact of the entire third chapter is lost because of the overwhelming popularity of John 3:16. Take for example John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Pretty plain right there...Spirit and flesh are easily discerned. Or how about John 3:12 " If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?" Or a couple of other Heavy Hitters, John 3:20-21 "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Bear in mind that in this passage, Jesus was talking with Nicodemus...a REAL MAN of flesh and bone, breathing and walking around. This was not some apparition or mystic encounter. This was one ...
Rogation Wednesday (Vigil of the Ascension) + Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son with the glory which I had with thee before the world was, alleluia. [Benedictus antiphon, Rogation Wednesday, Lauds, fifth week after Easter] + Readings from the Fathers during Matins in Paschaltide. Homily by St. Augustine, Bishop Homily 104 on John THE Lord, the Only-begotten and co-eternal with the Father, if, in the form of a servant and from the form of a servant, need were that he should pray, might have prayed in silence: but then it was his will, while exhibiting himself to the Father in the attitude of prayer, to remember that he was our teacher. Accordingly, the prayer which he made for us, he hath also made known to us: because being so great a master, not only what he saith in discoursing to his disciples, but also what he saith to the Father in praying for them, is their edification. And if theirs, who were there to hear these things when they were said, doubtless ours also, who should read them when put ...
A little peek into my next book, "Called Unto Liberty -- Biblical Light on the Corporate Church" ~ What Did the Apostle Paul Teach Concerning Pastoral Salaries? 1 Corinthians 9:13-14: “Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? 14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. 15 But I have used none of these things.” ● Most people seeking to justify pastoral salaries completely miss the fact that verse 13 refers to Temple Priests, NOT New Testament pastors. This goes back to the Tribe of Levi. The Levites did not participate in the land inheritance of the other eleven tribes, "because the Lord the God of Israel Himself is their inheritance" (Deuteronomy 18:2). The Tribe of Levi served particular religious duties for the Israelites and had political responsibilities as well. In return, the landed tribes were expected to give a tithe to the C ...
5 WAYS GOD USES PROBLEMS In Romans 8:35-37, the apostle Paul who was beset by problems on every hand (2 Corinthians 4:8-18) stated: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” The problems we face will either defeat us or develop us – depending on how we respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring. With the above thoughts in mind, the following are five ways God wants to use the problems in our life: 1) God Uses Problems To “Direct” Us Sometimes God must light a fire under us to get us moving. Problems often point us in a new direction a ...
WRATH AND GRACE ch. 38 of the book Risen. Our church is reflecting on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from his death on the cross and burial in the tomb. The apostle Paul said, "For God did not appoint us to SUFFER WRATH but to RECEIVE SALVATION THROUGH OUR Lord Jesus Christ. I Thes. 5;9 The good news is...GOD IS GOOD! He is patient and slow to anger.but he judges evil! Because He is good...He made the world "good". On the cross he JUDGED and displayed his WRATH against sin.my sin and the sin of all who turn to him for forgiveness of their sin. I have turned to Jesus Christ for many reasons. One of the first reasons was."I don't want what I deserve (WRATH), I desire GOD'S GRACE which I don't deserve. Do you want what you deserve or do you desire God's grace? This would be a good time to receive and walk in Grace!
Good Morning FB, "Check yourself before you Wreck yourself " team Jealousy, envy and strife " is a disease that leads to instability, mental illness and a spiritual death. Jas 3:16 "For where envy and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work" the Apostle Paul told the church " don't let it be Named among you" therefore be thankful for such as you have, Be Blessed.

There was a time when family was very important, it was uplifted and encouraged. Even t.v. shows and movies promoted family values. A stay at home mom was once honored and now looked down upon. As the world changes, turns its back on God, working to destroy traditional family values, we as Christians must stand in the way of that. We need to be that light in this world of darkness, forever striving to stand on the side of right and against those things that are wrong, standing on the front lines against anything evil and contrary to the Word of God. Our priorities should be God first, family second and everything after that. Husbands we need to honor our wives, showing love, kindness and tenderness. We need to take time to listen to our kids no matter how busy we are, if we don't give them the proper time and attention, then they will go to someone that will and that someone may be an individual who could easily lead them down the wrong path. Working hard is a good thing, but not if it costs you the preci ...
Amazing Facts in History: "TO AN UNKNOWN GOD" Way back about 593 B.C. a wise man named Epimendes of Crete was summoned to stop a plague in Athens. The city had alters to hundreds of gods, but Epimendes knew there must be a god more powerful than any of those. He suggested an alter and offering be made to "AN UNKNOWN GOD." It was done and the plague was ended. The Apostle Paul knew that story when he went to Athens 600 + years later. He said, "I see that you are very religious people...I noticed an alter to an UNKNOWN GOD as I walked about your city. I want to tell you about that UNKNOWN GOD." (Acts 17:22-25) We are blessed to be know and love that God. May we keep sharing the Good News in our time!
AN OPEN FACE The apostle Paul writes, “We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). The root word for “open face” here has an amazing definition. It means being totally committed to allowing God to expose every hidden thing in your heart—for the purpose of being delivered from it all. This kind of open face cries out, “Try me, Lord; see if there is any wicked way in me. Show me where I’m living contrary to Your Word. I want to be delivered from everything that is unlike you. Away with all my pride, my ambitions, my selfish intellect, my reasoning. I know I can’t think my way out of my situation. Holy Spirit, I need Your power and wisdom. I lay down every hope of solving things my own way.” For many believers, this is a very difficult thing to do. They have survived their whole Christian lives on their wits and wisdom. And now to have to admit to bungling things up and needing to give up control is just too hard. The Lord had to strip me of m ...

Today Father we repent of our worldliness and lack of commitment to you Lord Jesus, Father today touch those who are too busy to pray, too busy to read about you and your wonderful works. Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you. Acts 17:22-23 “I am spiritual, but I’m not religious.” When someone says those words, the meaning is something like this: “I believe in a god, a higher power. I believe that morality is good and goodness is noble. I believe that I should treat others the way I want to be treated. However, I don’t believe any one religious group has sole claim to the truth. I don’t think that anyone can really claim to know god fully…if at all.” Such people are sometimes labeled “agnostics”. They believe there is a god out there somewhere, but he and his ways remain elusively hidden…unknown. They may be indifferent about it. They may be casually or frantically looking, se ...
Excerpts from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians: Beginning in Chapter 4: Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. ONE GOD and FATHER (SOURCE) of ALL, who is over ALL and through ALL, and in ALL. 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the MEASURE of Christ’s gift. 15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the bod ...
The United States of America as repeatedly rejected and rebelled against God, so much so that we are now known as the new Sodom and Gomorra and most of the world do not consider America to be a Super Power anymore. As a nation we have allowed the devil doctrine of this liberal society, liberal politicians and liberal media to creep into our homes and take root which has produce a generation of young people that have little or no moral values at all. Consequently our sins against God grow even more sinful day by day as America continues to thumb it's nose at God and shake the fist of pride in His face. The Apostle Paul addressed this very behavior as he prophesied that our culture would become exactly as it is today. But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treachero ...
We may say that people need to show worthy of respect before we can respect them. But respecting another person is much more about who WE are than about who the other person is. Apostle Paul gave the main reason that believers should excel in respect , so the NAME OF GOD will be lifted up. All of us are to bring honor and glory to the LORD'S NAME. EXCELLING IN RESPECT FOR OTHERS HONORS GOD'!!! gud afternoon fb friends...
SEEING AS GOD SEES We walk in the flesh. Any debate there? You and I are flesh and blood; we're protoplasm and water and salt and albumin. In other words, we're human. But we do not war in the flesh. Our spiritual battles are not fleshly battles. They are fought in another realm. You face a river you cannot cross. A mountain you can't scale or tunnel through. How do you handle it? If you rely on your own ability, your own power, your own skill, you will most certainly fail. When we war in the flesh, we lose. Our human ingenuity, talent, giftedness, education - will not serve us well as weapons in spiritual warfare. We need something else. Something other-worldly. The apostle Paul says that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh. Many of us operate as if they were. When the bottom falls out of life, our first impulse is to say "What can I do? How can I work this out? What solution can I bring to bear on this dilemma?" But that is not how battles are won against the fortresses, the strongholds that ...
ENCOURAGEMENT for OTHERS, GLORY for GOD. Apostle Paul said, For we go through all things on account of you, because the greater the number to whom the grace is given, the greater is the praise to the glory of God. (2CO 4:15) EVERY DIFFICULTY that GOD allow into our lives not only HAS SIGNIFICANCE for US, but it can also have AN IMPACT on those to whom we are ministering. For all things are for your sakes. How important it is to have A PERSPECTIVE on LIFE that includes GOD working in us that He might touch others. Apostle Paul certainly viewed LIFE and MINISTRY in this manner. I now rejoice in my sufferings for you . . . Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all . . . Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. (Read Col 1:24, Phi 2:17, Eph 3:13). As the LORD WORKS HIS GRACE into and through our lives, GRACE can be spreading to many other lives, that grace, having sprea ...
Champions are not immune from making mistakes or failing. Rather, they are exposed to the same or even greater levels of challenge as anyone else. What keeps them going is the prize that awaits them at the finish line. At every point in time, you are torn between two strong and opposing forces; what is gone and that which is yet to come. And the decision lies on you to choose one. No wonder the Apostle Paul said, "This one thing I do: forgetting all that is behind and reaching for what is ahead." Now, that takes a sense of resolve and focus.
OK. I'm going to have to stop getting wound up when I read the news. Even the apostle Paul wrote about not grumbling and complaining while living 'in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation'.
Why Hasn’t My Prophetic Word Happened Yet? Why is it when God speaks, often the opposite happens in our lives. Have you ever received a prophetic word or encouraging dream from God then suddenly life takes a nosedive? This isn’t meant to discourage you. Some really good people give up on their prophetic promises thinking they’ve missed it. In reality, God gave you prophetic revelation as encouragement for a tough time. Opposite world You’ll find this happens throughout the Bible. Samuel anointed David as king but David was hunted down by Saul for years and almost died before finally fulfilling Samuel’s prophecy that he’d be king. Moses received a prophetic word from God to deliver God’s people but it took years for the right circumstances to play out. Everything looked opposite for Moses. Even Jesus received the Holy Spirit at his baptism but then he was led into the wilderness where things looked opposite. And the apostle Paul had a powerful encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, was ...
No matter where we are in our lives, no matter what lessons we've learned, no matter how faithful to God we've been, one thing shows up in every honest self-assessment - we are not perfect. God still has work left to do in us. As we walk with Him we will see God working in our lives changing us to look more and more like Jesus. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. – Apostle Paul Let us discover how God carries into completion His work in the life of our brother Sam Liuson as he shares his story at Binondo Fellowship Fridays. DO NOT MISS this opportunity to listen to our special guest speaker's TESTIMONY! This Friday May 30 at the 10th Floor World Trade Exchange Tower in a night of full of Fun, Food, and Fellowship! Are you ashamed of the Gospel of Christ? Have you decided to to bend the truth about the gospel to please your pastor, priest, government, community or to suit your selfish desires? have you decided not to go public about the Gospel because you don't want to be called names? Breakout today like Apostle Paul lets preach this Gospel for it is the power of God at work saving everyone that believes. (scripture reading; Romans 1:16)
If you are growing in the Lord, as all believers should, you will go through the refining process at some point in your life.  In fact, not even just at one point in your life but multiple times.  Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”  This scripture is very clear that it’s not a matter of if we will go through the fire but when.  As a result, we must understand what this refiners fire is and why it matters. There are several types of fires: forest fires, incinerators fire, and refiners fire. Unlike forest fires and incinerators fire which consume everything in it’s path; the refiners fire only burns away the impurities.  Let’s take a look at how a goldsmith, in ancient history, refined gold. Step 1 The goldsmith finds a rock that has promising gold.  The rock is mined resulting in a rock which is ...
Since God is holy, the people He chooses for Himself must also be holy, a principle that continues under the New Covenant. As God lives by high standards, so must His people keep those same high standards as an example to the rest of the world, God Created us, Chose us, and Called us. Our citizenship is not of this world but of Gods Kingdom. To the members of God's church in Philippi, the Apostle Paul writes, "For our citizenship is in heaven" (Philippians 3:20). While some may spiritualize this fact away, Paul's words comes across as literal and real to those who understand that God has called us out of this world (John 15:19) and transferred us into His Kingdom (Colossians 1:13). Yes encouragement from time to time would be nice - yes? Therefor encourage one another and build each other up. ~ Apostle Paul 1 Thess 5 : 11
My observation of Christendom is that most of us tend to base our relationship with God on our performance instead of on His grace. If we’ve performed well—whatever “well” is in our opin- ion—then we expect God to bless us. If we haven’t done so well, our expectations are reduced accordingly. In this sense, we live by works, rather than by grace. We are saved by grace, but we are living by the “sweat” of our own performance. Moreover, we are always challenging ourselves and one another to “try harder.” We seem to believe success in the Christian life (however we define success) is basically up to us: our commitment, our discipline, and our zeal, with some help from God along the way. We give lip service to the attitude of the Apostle Paul, “But by the grace of God I am what I am (1 Cor. 15:10), but our unspoken motto is, “God helps those who help themselves.” (Jerry Bridges quoted in ONE WAY LOVE)
Believers in Jesus are prone to follow all kinds of spiritual leaders, those who are eloquent, or appear to be blessed because they are wealthy, or successful because they run big churches or because they have spectacular ministries. In Jesus’ day, it was the religious geeks that people followed, those who appeared to be far more “holy” than the common people. There was no shortage of visible religious performance from them, for example, from the Pharisees. However, Jesus questioned their destination. “If you are following them as your teachers, do you know where they are going? What is the end result of what they are teaching you?” He urged people to examine their fruit. Is it good fruit? Jesus called the religious leaders blind. Why? Because they had no idea where their teaching would land them and they were unaware that their destination was “the ditch”. What makes such leaders blind? The Apostle Paul gives us the answer in 2 Corinthians 4:4 – “The god of this age has blinded the mind ...
I've been dealing a lot with finding my true identity in Christ, learning to view myself the way Christ sees me, and not just that, but realizing that the expectations of this world are not the standards that my life is measured by. Any how I read this great article by a woman named Mercy Hope. I snatched a few bits and pieces that stuck out for me. Hope it encourages you the way it did for me! A myriad of problems in our lives stem from the fact that we draw our identity from the wrong source. We don’t know who we are so we work feverishly to “make a name for ourselves” so that we can “be somebody.” The problem is, as long as we are out there representing ourselves, instead of representing the One Who commissioned us to do the work, we will never find rest or fulfillment. If we are wearing the label of “Christ follower” but running around acting like it’s all about us, of course we’re going to have identity crisis! If your identity is in being a stay-at-home mom, what happens when the c ...

YES...I AM EMOTIONAL AGAIN! I have been reading a book " 65 Signs of the Times" by David Ridges.he talks about us becoming discouraged and cynical about the future or even fearful of what is ahead. Yet, we as Christians know we need to turn our thoughts and our attitudes away from the troubles around us and focus instead on OUR BLESSINGS! And great they really are! The Apostle Paul even declared that God had not given us the spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and of love...and of a sound mind if we stay grounded in righteousness, unless there is a physical or some real reason. None of us makes it through this life without problems and often great challenges. and sadly, sometimes serious misfortunes and tragedies do occur in our lives. Yet, I believe we are here to learn and grow from these experiences to prepare us and shape us for the life hereafter. There are times we will grieve, suffer, feel alone, unappreciated and maybe even feel unloved or unloveable. So how do we feel joy in spite of all we ...
A wonderful person, Juli Tomlin, lost her only son on Monday. He was 20. His name is Clayton Martin. He was a fine Christian young man. I know that he is in Heaven today. Please pray for Clayton's family. I don't know Clayton's dad, Andy Martin from Banks County, but I know he is heartbroken also. The Apostle James said in Chapter 4 verse 14, "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." My friends, hug those that you love and tell them everyday that you love them. Life is so fragile and short. In closing, the Apostle Paul states that Jesus spoke to him in II Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." When we are at our lowest point and broken, that is when Jesus can be the strongest in our lives. May God hold Clayton's family in HIS hand and heal their broken hearts.
MARRIED or PLANNING TO BE MARRIED; The Husband's Responsibility to his Wife & the Bible! The position of the husband in the home and his related responsibilities are quite clearly defined in principle in Ephesians 5:22, 28-31. "Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church; and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wife as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it . . . So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church . . . For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shal.1 be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh". It is impossible to completely deal with the responsibilities of the husband in such a short article. I ...
2 Corinthians 11:30 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity. To modern-day followers of Christ, the apostle Paul is held in the highest regard for his tireless work of teaching, church-planting, and writing of biblical letters. This, however, was not the case in the first century. Even atter years of faithful service, Paul had to write the letter of 2 Corinthians to defend his calling and ministry, which was being questioned by people in Corinth.
THE WRATH OF GOD REVISITED The wrath of God. All have heard of it. All have dreaded it. All are taught it at some point in their lives. Disasters are blamed on it. Sickness is blamed on it. Misfortune is blamed on it. Often, God's wrath is personified as the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse-- death, war, pestilence and famine-- all going forth across the planet to execute God's furious judgement on the peoples. God's anger burns toward man, ready to smite their disobedient ways, or so the "wrath mongers" say. But conscience compels us to challenge this assumption. Is the wrath of God consistent with the full revelation of Jesus Christ given through His life, His teachings, and most importantly, His indwelling presence within us? Does the body of Christ have a blind-spot which Satan is hiding behind, lurking unperceived by us in our thoughts and emotions? Is it possible that Satan uses the term "the wrath of God" to incite us to hate our enemies rather than love them, to curse them rather than bless them .. ...
We Are Not A Part Of The Hebraic Roots Movement Also Known As The Sacred Name Movement! By brother dino   The Devil has some of you convinced that we are part of The Hebraic Roots Movement aka The Sacred Name Movement (which is serious error as concerns The Full Counsel of God’s Word) and/or being Messianic Jews (which we are not, I am American of Italian descent, Sicilian on both sides to be exact, but do love the Messianic Jewish Believers in Y'Shua aka Jesus, for as the apostle Paul declares, "All Isreal will be saved" both Phyisical Israel aka The Bloodline of Abraham and Spiritual Israel aka The Church of Jesus Christ of Nazereth) as well as being Religious and Legalistic (rather than Spiritual), like The Judaizers, whom the apostle Paul warned the saints in The Early Church about and battled against in his Epistle (Letter) to The Galatians and this is not even remotely true by any stretch of the imagination Beloved.   And each of the Leaders, Devoted Disciples and Members of our International ...

A LIFESTYLE OF GLORY Every Christian has been called into the Ministry of reconciliation. You are in the job of announcing the good news of Christ's salvation. It's your calling and your personal responsibility, and in this day, more than ever before, you must not be silent about it. However, you can preach the good news in words, but another way to communicate this message of life, is by your life. Your lifestyle must demonstrate the power and ability of God’s Word. This is a higher level of teaching; a most viable strategy. We should always bring to mind the words of the apostle Paul, to the Corinthian Christians, where he said, “and my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power” (1Corinthians 2:4). He didn’t teach them in words only, he also demonstrated the power and love of God through his actions. Let everyone around you see the glory of God in your life, and the reality of the new creation in Christ that you preach. ...
SHOULD WE REBUILD WHAT JESUS DIED TO DEMOLISH? “Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh -- who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands -- 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by on ...
What is the key to effective prayer?" Answer: We all want our prayers to be “effective,” so much so that when we focus on the “results” of our prayers, we lose sight of the incredible privilege we have in prayer. That people like us can speak to the Creator of the universe is itself an amazing thing. Even more astounding is the fact that He hears us and acts on our behalf! The first thing we need to understand about effective prayer is that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ had to suffer and die on the cross to even make it possible for us to approach the throne of grace to worship and pray (Hebrews 10:19-25). Although the Bible offers a great deal of guidance on how we can deepen our communication with the Creator, effective prayer has more to do with the one doing the praying than it does with “how” we are to pray. Indeed, Scripture says, “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16), and that the “eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentiv ...
Friend, may God lift you from glory to glory and may all who wrote you off hear about your testimony, (Genesis 41:14) amen. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" The word for builder in Hebrew is "bo-neh". It is also translated repairer. When our Messiah came 2000 years ago, He came to repair lives — to do a complete restoration of all that is broken in this world. Interestingly, the Hebrew words for son, "ben" and daughter, "baht" both also come from the word "bo-neh". Jesus came to repair lives how come we are destroying each other, stabbing and putting each other down? We are double faced, hypocritical and never grateful, why don't we learn from Christ? He went on doing good (acts 10:38) am tired of some fake Christians all they do is to use others, (including some pastors) where is the heart of Christ? It's time to seek the Lord, read his word and fast we have to change, God is loving and caring waiting fo ...
This week we return to our ongoing study in the Book of Acts. This week the Apostle Paul courageously shares with an angry mob his personal testimony and the commission given him by Jesus Christ to take the gospel to the Gentiles.
The Bible records that Apostle Paul made three missionary journeys. This shows his 2nd journey, during which he brought the Gospel to the European Continent from Asia. Paul visited Athens as part of this 2nd journey. Athens is the capital city of Greece today.   After looking around the city Paul was invited to speak to a group of Athenians at Areopagus. Today’s reading from Acts 17 is known as ‘the Areopagus Sermon’ which has been vigorously studied and referred to because the sermon offers some critical points that are very helpful for those who want to introduce the Gospel to the people who have never heard of Jesus.   Interestingly the sermon also provides some hints that help us understand the people who were listening to Paul. From that understanding  I have found some differences and commonalities between the 1st century Athenians and the 21st century people, which is the theme of today’s sermon.   An Unknown god   Having looked around the city of Athens Apostle Paul said to the audien ...
Unstablness, confusion and insercurity all come from wrong Doctrine! If what your hearing isnt about Who Jesus is and What He came to do on the cross and How it affects your life as for daily living for God then no matter who says it or where it comes from it will not do you one ounce of good. Many of you are still listening to Joyce Meyers, T.D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, Rod Parsley, John Hagee, Creflo Dollar, Kennneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren and many others and you may feel good about yourself for a little while but no matter how good you feel, the root of the problem is sin and sin was addressed at Calvary. You cannot claim to be embracing the Message of the Cross that the Apostle Paul preached and these liars.Gal 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

The Paradox... Pastors call for Repentance. Repentance from what? Sin Sin is defined as breaking YHWHs Law in 1John3:4. Pastors interpret Apostle Paul as stating God's Law is obsolete. When asking a Pastor as to "what" to repent from exactly, they say will give examples of YHWH's Law from the Old Testament. There is either "Living Lawful" or "Living Lawless". The AntiChrist is called The Lawless One. To attempt to reconcile this paradox, some pastors have picked which laws they want to subscribe to... By making "categories" of laws. They call some Moral Laws, Civil, & some Ceremonial Laws. Though this is found nowhere in scripture. Our Messiah observed all that applied to Him...so should we.
I have been asked on my thoughts of judgment. Here it is: The Future Judgment of the Believer The coming of Christ will be an occasion of jubilation for all saints. When the graves are opened and the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living saints shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air, it will be a time such as attends the meeting of a bride with her bridegroom. Believers never need fear a condemnatory judgment for sin. For every Christian this judgment is already past. When Jesus comes again He will have in His body the marks of crucifixion, and this will prove that the penalty for sin has been paid in full. Our Lord reassures us by His own word: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). To this the Apostle Paul adds: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). ...
Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Phd Theme: You're A Lighthouse Date: Tuesday May 20th, 2014 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord (Romans 12:11). Matthew 24:14 says, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." This was an instruction given by the Lord Jesus Christ, not just to pastors and evangelists, but to all who would believe on His Name. According to the Apostle Paul, He's made us able ministers or dispensers of the New Testament. "Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament..."(2 Corinthians 3:6). In other words, you're a minister of the Gospel. You've been commissioned to reach out to those living in darkness with the light of salvation. A blessed Sunday to you my good people. There is an encouraging and strengthening message from Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:10-13 Be strong in the Lord, and having done all, to stand. - Life is unpredictable. - We do face crisis and challenge. - We must be determined that we will stand. - We must do what we can and then stand, expecting God to act! PRAYER: Lord, I stand secure today knowing that You are able to work things out for me. I will be strong in the strength You give me. Amen.

Is homosexuality 'detrimental' to society? You decide (Note I personally don't concur with the authors theological conclusions, however I post this to show the detriment to society with their associated links and studies, the 'facts' that some have asked for) Reasons why Homosexuality is wrong and Hurts Society 1. Homosexuality injures the fabric of society, especially children. A societal acceptance of same sex relationships gives vulnerable children the impression that same sex relationships are good, moral and healthy. Not only does the Bible condemn such behavior, but medical professionals have affirmed that these kinds of sexual relationships are unhealthy. A society that accepts immoral relationships cause children to stumble into immorality. Jesus Christ said that “if anyone causes one of these little one’s to stumble, (sin) it would be better if he put a mill stone around his neck and throw himself into the sea.” Matthew 18:6Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) Acceptance of these unn ...
Acts 16 The Apostle Paul and Silas were thrown in prison. Consider what they had to deal with while in the prison. They didn't react on emotion, they didn't react on negative thoughts, the bible says they created a sanctified sound including prayer and hymns. What patterns are you known to play out when in your prison moments? I would encourage you to make a sanctified sound. Make a sound that honors God regardless of what your faced with and watch him not only Him change your conditions but change the way you think while dealing with your conditions. 7:45 is the shifting main point.

Reading..."The 180 Degree Christian." (Serving Jesus in a Culture of Excess.) The believers in Corinth lost sight of the path God had called then to follow, rendering them almost entirely unable to hear what the Lord was speaking to them through the apostle Paul. The result? Powerlessness. Eventually? Loss of calling. I fear somehow that we find ourselves in a dangerously similar situation today. In much of the Western world, we live in a society of excess that closely resembles ancient Corinth. We, too, are called to an incredible inheritance in Christ as individuals and as a strategic part of His Church. We have been left on this earth for the same purpose as they were - to be a representation of Jesus Christ to a lost generation. And yet, just like the Corinthians, many of us remain completely oblivious to the peril in which we stand. The Lord graciously sent His Word to the Corinthian church through the apostle Paul in hopes of bringing it back to the way of truth. In the same way, I believe ...
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
The Apostle Paul, who started as one of Christianity's most zealous enemies, was hand-picked by Jesus Christ to become the gospel's most ardent messenger. Paul traveled tirelessly through the ancient world, taking the message of salvation to the Gentiles. Paul towers as one of the all-time giants of Christianity. Oh LORD Saul of Tarsus did worst than Abubakar Shekau of Boko Haram in persecuting brethren with government permission to kill YOUR apostles and disciples. For the sake of YOUR blood and blood of the saint meet with Abubakar Shekau and save his soul. Only YOU ALMIGHTY GOD can do what no man can do, do not waste Abubakar Shekau like Osama Bin Laden. Abubakar Shekau is our fellow African we love him with the love of salvation not for him and his followers to go to *** Have mercy on him LORD. OH LORD please, American and world leaders may rescue the Chibok girls and kill Abubakar Shekau and more bred of killers will spring up. But for the sake of the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross Abubak .. ...

The True Pattern It is one thing to be able to discern what is false, but it is of much greater value to know the pattern of the true. Thus the apostle Paul uses chapter 3 of Philippians to reveal his attitude of heart. In so doing, he gives us the pattern of what we should look for in a leader. After presenting his remarkable pedigree in versus 5 and 6 -- an Israelite by birth; as to the Law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness defined in the Law, found blameless -- Paul then renounces the very things he attained, saying: "But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ" (v. 7). For the mature man or woman, no position or esteem among men can replace the "surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus [our] Lord." Even the most amazing of achievements are reduced to "rubbish in order that [we] may gain Christ" (v. 8). Paul separates himself further from the Mosaic Law, revealing that his quest is to "be found in [Christ], n ...

I did not write this, but keep this in mind when you are going through a rough time. Within the Pages of the Bible are the answers to man's most pressing needs. At this moment, you may be very discouraged about life. Life may now appear to you as an endless, tragic treadmill, not really worth living or having. Perhaps you are saying, right now, life holds nothing for me, it is only a bum rap, a lousy trip. Nobody loves me; nobody cares if I live or die. In the midst of your despair, and your doubt, and frustration, and hopelessness, I want you to realize that Jesus Christ offers to you another view of life; a view that is truly beautiful. Jesus has some special words for us: He said, "I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). With these words, Jesus lifts life above the physical realm and assures us that the abundant life has a divine and eternal quality. The Bible tells us that we were created in the very image or likeness of God, and you can be sure that if God made us l ...

What is the most important thing to us? For Jesus it was to do his Father's will. For the Father in heaven - is to save mankind. For the Holy Spirit, is to indwell the believers. For Herod it was his throne. For the apostle Paul, it was to know Christ. For King Ahan, it was Nabot's vineyard. Question, What is the most important thing for you? Let me know, if you need help in making up your mind.
I don't believe in canonized scripture nor do I hold the bible to be God's word. Victor Hugo was as inspired as the apostle Paul.
What do you think of Jews? . As the Apostle Paul (who himself was a Jew) teaches in this verse, the only true Jews are Christians.

How did the apostle Paul never get a book of the Bible named after him? The approach to the naming of the books clearly was not consistent.
The apostle Paul claimed to be the chief of sinners. Why? He was so bad that he had tried to destroy the Christian Church, yet God forgave him and used him to change the lives of many. Your sins can be forgiven by God; in fact, no one is good enough to make it on their own life’s efforts. Only when we place our faith in Jesus’ death on the cross for our sins as being all that God requires will we find God’s forgiveness. God invites you to receive His gift of forgiveness right now.
Apostle Paul knew so much about such deep transformation because he has once lived the life of hate and testified to it. He hated (6/16)

May 17, 2014. You amaze Me. You bring such delight to My heart with your deep hunger for My written Word. What especially delights Me is your hunger for the integrity and excellence of the Scriptures. To some extent you are like the Bereans in the time of the Apostle Paul. They daily opened the Word and took the truth there to be the bedrock against which any current teachings of their day were tested. I want you to be eager for hearing the word followed by examination against the Scriptures. Acts 17:11 (NASB)Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so."
