Funny how Craig Bellamy gets an fa charge and Andy Carroll doesn't get his 3 game ban overturned yet Yaya Toure gets let off. Big clubs always get the benefits in situations like that
So Man City's Yaya Toure has been let off a violent conduct charge whilst Cardiff's Craig Bellamy has been charged and West Ham's Andy Carroll serves a 3 game ban. Sums up the pathetic FA who are proving yet again that they won't act against the bigger clubs. Toure clearly kicked out therefore violent conduct and automatic 3 game ban. Yet another reason why I will not watch the premiership. The sooner the Football League get a separate deal with a different broadcaster the sooner I can cancel Sky.

Gerrard: Henderson "Only Going to Become Better and Better" From makeweight in a failed transfer deal last August to a regular in the starting eleven by season's end, Jordan Henderson's had an impressive campaign, one upon which his captain thinks he can continue to build. It's easy to forget the amount of overhaul Liverpool experienced last summer; Kenny Dalglish was gone, Brendan Rodgers was on his way in, and four of the five signings from the past year seemed set for exits. Craig Bellamy's heart (and family) were in Wales, Charlie Adam clearly didn't fit in Rodgers' plans, Andy Carroll would suffer a similar fate, and both Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson were set to depart. The latter came closest, shopped relentlessly in the final days of the transfer window, most notably as a makeweight in the failed approach to Fulham for Clint Dempsey. And now, less than ten months later, his Liverpool future appears far more secure, solidified by a string of performances that saw him become Liverpool's most ...
Good to see a Newcastle team full of REAL Professionals... gone are the days of Lee Boyer, Craig Bellamy, Kieron Dyer, Andy Carroll etc.NUFC's recruitment policy is getting a lot better. Just need to get Perchiniho on a 20 year contract now! ;)
So looks like Brendan Rodgers is passing on the chance to sign Wesley Sneijder. Doesn't fit our age & financial standards. Exactly the reason why we are where we are! Replacing Dirk Kuyt, Maxi Rodriguez, Craig Bellamy, Charlie Adam(among our best players last season) & Andy Carroll(who had just started to look good) with Fabio Borini, Daniel Sturridge & Joe "The Welsh Xavi" Allen & signing a player of Nuri Sahin's caliber & then letting him go within 6 months is not death by football but death of football.

Liverpool Chasing Highly-Rated English Trio in January Transfer Window – Report Brendan Rodgers is planning a major overhaul in January as he plans to convince Thomas Ince, Daniel Sturridge and Jack Butland to make the move to Liverpool in the transfer window. The Daily Mail has reported that the Liverpool boss is keen to complete a trio of signings in the New Year as he bids to add some depth to a squad that has been severely stretched this season. The Reds allowed the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Craig Bellamy and Maxi Rodriguez to leave on a permanent basis, while Andy Carroll was also shipped off to West Ham on a season-long loan. That has left Rodgers remarkably short of options in attack, forcing his hand to give a number of young players their debuts for the club. With Fabio Borini out injured and Stewart Downing out-of-favour, Rodgers has promoted Raheem Sterling and Suso to the first team, leaving little in reserve. The Mail believes that the former Swansea boss will attempt to address the issue by comp ...
Andy Carroll, Maxi Rodriguez, Dirk Kuyt, Craig Bellamy, Fabio Aurellio should have never left.
Fa Cup Final, Liverpool v Chelsea, Ramires; Juan Mata Didier Drogba scored a record- breaking fourth FA Cup Final goal to seal glory for Chelsea who won 2-1 despite an Andy Carroll -inspired Liverpool coming within millimetres of a comeback. A quality-starved first half was punctured only after 11 minutes when Ramires capitalised on a series of Liverpool errors to burst down the right and slot into the net. Drogba’s historic finish soon after half-time looked to have Chelsea comfortable, but Carroll came off the bench to slam home an emphatic finish shortly past the hour. He thought he had pulled off an astonishing comeback in the 82nd minute when he powered a header at the far post, but somehow Petr Cech was able to claw it back before crossing the whole of the line, those few millimetres securing the Blues' triumph as they held off a furious final assault. Kenny Dalglish opted to leave Carroll on the bench, Luis Suarez playing alone up front with the likes of Steven Gerrard and Craig Bellamy forward i ...
Kenny from what I saw you picked the wrong team! Dirk Kuyt and Andy Carroll should have started. Craig Bellamy what a waste of time.
What a feckin great save, didn't realise I despised Liverpool and more importantly Andy Carroll and Craig Bellamy so much! Come on Chelski!
I'd try my luck with Chelsea. I'm betting on Didier Drogba (I hope Juan Mata and Daniel Sturridge score some goals! Fernando Torres? A miracle perhaps? When pigs fly! I want to see some goals from Frank Lampard and John Terry. But I believe Luis Suarez will score! Andy Carroll? Hmm... A bit doubtful. Perhaps Charlie Adam, Craig Bellamy or Stewart Downing could? I'd like to see either Dirk Kuyt or Steven Gerrard score a goal or two.
FA Cup Final: There is no Andy Carroll in the starting line-up for Liverpool. Craig Bellamy starts. Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger form the centre of the Reds defence. Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique, Gerrard, Spearing, Henderson, Downing, Bellamy, Suarez.
Liverpool select Luis Suarez on his own up front with Craig Bellamy to play wide on the left in a similar 4-2-3-1 formation to Chelsea. Andy Carroll is on the bench.
why not sign Kieron Dyer, lee bowyer, Craig Bellamy, Andy Carroll, greame le saux and David batty!
Liverpool need to improve in the second half. Andy Carroll should be withdrawn and replaced with Craig Bellamy. Dalglish should also consider replacing the pedestrian Carragher with Jose Enrique.
