Cayce Talbott wrote a new note: REPENTING IS RESTING. Why True Repentance is NOT About Sin. For many years as an Evangelist I preached that you must Repent of your Sins to be Saved in which time I lived a miserable life because I was never able to repent or completely turn away from all of my sins. Every time I turned around the sin in my life that I thought I repented of was starring me in the face and constantly condemning me. Because I believed that there was still Sin in me due to my transgressions that I did every day, I was giving the devil ammunition to shoot me with and giving him access into my life. I lived in condemnation even though I believed in and preached Repentance of Sin to be righteouss with God. How wrong I was! Now let me first say that I hate sin and am completely AGAINST living in sin! Now, in 2005 the Lord began to change my heart about Repentance and sin. It was through listening to Him more than ever in my devotional time and later through the teachings of people like Andrew Womm ...

ABRAHAM'S BOSOM ( by Andrew wommack ) Luke 23:43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." LUKE 23:43 The paradise that Jesus spoke of must have been the same place that Jesus called "Abraham's bosom," when He told the story of the rich man and Lazarus. Jesus descended into the lower parts of the earth after His death, and John 20:17 shows that it was some time after His resurrection before Jesus ascended back to His Father. Therefore, this paradise was "Abraham's bosom" located in "sheol" in the lower parts of the earth. The phrase "led captivity captive" from Ephesians 4:8, refers to Jesus liberating the Old Testament saints. When Old Testament saints died, they went to a place in the center of the earth which is called "sheol" in Hebrew. It is the Hebrew word "sheol" that is translated *** in Psalm 16:10, which prophesies Jesus saying, "For thou wilt not leave my soul in *** neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption" (Acts 2:27-30) ...

Dear Andrew Wommack always says, if you do something with the best of intentions, truly believing it's God's will, and it fails, God will honor your heart in it. So if you were conned by the best of pathological liars, such as a classic textbook narcissist? Remember, you were taken in by faith... it may have failed because the other person has no conscience and literally is not capable of empathy/love but on your side, if you exercised faith, hope and love, you believed all things were possible :)

YOU HAVE IT ALL--IN THE SPIRIT . . . [Expounding on - Matthew 26:41 = "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."...] "The Bible presents salvation as a life transforming experience. Change is one of the distinguishing characteristics of a true believer. Yet, failure to understand that this change takes place in the spirit first, and then is reflected in our outward appearance through our thoughts and actions in direct proportion to the way we renew our minds, causes much confusion. This change has to take place in our born-again spirit first. Why is that? If you were fat before you got saved, you will be fat after you get saved, unless you go on a weight loss program. Your body doesn't instantly change and neither does your soul or mind. It is your spirit that is instantly changed at salvation. It is perfect (Hebrews 12:23). It cannot sin (1st John 3:9). Everything that is true of Jesus is true of our born-again spirit. Your spiritual salvatio ...

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Eph 5:25. Husbands are to follow the example of Christ in the way they love their wives. How did Christ love us? First, the love of Christ was extended to us before we requested it or changed our actions. Ro 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Therefore, men should love their wives independently of whether they deserve it or not. Wives should not have to earn their husbands' love. Second, Jesus took our blame and bore our punishment. Men should protect their wives by taking their shame and sharing their pain. It is never appropriate for men to tell their wives, "That's your problem. You made your bed, now you lie in it." That is not the way Jesus treated us. The Lord also promised us that He would never leave us or forsake us (Heb 13:5). A wife craves the security of knowing that her husband is committed to her "till death do us part." Failure to ...

You need to learn what God's laws are and then cooperate with them. You can't watch television programs that minister depression and then operate in joy. You can't take in all of the (bad) news without strengthening unbelief. If you want a pure heart, you can't watch movies that are full of adultery and fornication. You're going to have to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, praiseworthy, and of good report. (Phil. 4:8.) Yet people misunderstand these laws. Spiritual forces cannot be defeated with human weapons. When we are being attacked for being a part of Christ's kingdom, we must fight with spiritual weapons. Our warfare is not against people, but against the spiritual powers that operate behind the scenes through people. We must realize who the real enemy is and fight with the spiritual weapons the Lord has given us. We often think that anger will put a person in his place. But "the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God" (James 1:20). Anger displayed against people puts us ...
"If you are all wrapped up in your self, you make a very small package." -by Andrew Wommack Ministries When we die to self, as Jesus told us to do and as He was, no temptation and sin can stick to us. Selfishness is the landing-pad for the devil to land and take control in our lives. We have to realize that there is ONLY ONE GOD, and that is NOT US, and there is only ONE LORD who is Jesus Christ! We should not expect any longer from people to do for us what we want them to do, because we are not a god to be worshiped and served, and we should not worship and serve our own self either... it is idolatry. Only GOD is to be worshiped, God the Father -God the Son -God the Holy Spirit!

...well, I am pleased to announce that not everybody is having trouble with their marriages today! The Lord is moving mightily in this area, and regardless of what the rest of the world experiences, Christians can have God's best in their homes. God instituted marriage, so He certainly knows how to make it work properly. What does God say about marriage? From Ephesians 5:22-33, we get quite a bit of instruction. This article doesn't allow us enough space to deal with everything these scriptures minister concerning marriage, but certainly one principle that is interwoven throughout them all is love: God's kind of love. It is important that you realize that God's institution of marriage will only work with God's kind of love. God's kind of love is a choice that you make on the basis of what God said, and then act on it in faith until it becomes a reality in your spirit, soul, and body. If you can receive this basic truth about God's love, then you can begin to be consistent in your love to your mate because ...

But then in reading Andrew Wommack's commentary on 8:33 of Romans, he writes - 'If Almighty God has dropped all charges against us because of our faith in Christ, then why should we let the accusations of others bother us? "Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yes rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us! Finally, looking at I Peter 2:23 - When Jesus was reviled, did not revile in return.. Amen and Amen! "Keeping our Eyes on Jesus" "Grace and Peace be multiplied to all"

A DONE DEAL This truth is not yet widely understood and believed across the body of Christ today, which explains why so few people are walking in it. Most Christians think that God could certainly heal if He wanted to, but they don't see that He has already redeemed us from sickness and disease. They view healing as something the Lord can do, but they don't know for sure that it is His will. If you recognize that healing is part of the atonement (which took place two thousand years ago), then you'll comprehend that the Lord has already healed us. He's already purchased that blessing. That power has already been generated. Healing is a done deal, and is available to us now exactly the same as forgiveness of sins-( Excerpt from God wants you well- Andrew Wommack)
FROM ANDREW WOMMACK PILATE CONDEMNS JESUS Matthew 27:24 "When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it." This washing of the hands was not only a symbolic custom of the day that showed innocence, but was also a ritual prescribed in the Jewish law (Dt. 21:6-7; Ps. 26:6). Matthew is the only writer to record Pilate washing his hands of guilt, just as he was the only writer to record Pilate's wife coming to him with the details of the dream she had about Jesus. Secular accounts record her name as Claudia. She is the only one who spoke for, instead of against Jesus' life during the trial. This dream, no doubt came from God, since Claudia would have had to dreamt it before she knew of Jesus being brought to Pilate. Not only did the Lord bare witness in Pilate's heart to the innocence of Jesus, but He also gave Pilate's wife a very clear message throu ...

"There are a number of keys to seeing the miraculous power of God manifest on a consistent basis. One of the least understood, and therefore seldom practiced, is the fact that healing is under the authority of the believer. God has already provided His healing power and placed it on the inside of every born-again believer. It is up to us to release it. Understanding and using our authority is the key to seeing miracles happen."- Andrew Wommack

Listening to Andrew Wommack and he made a very good point. Most people see God as "THE GODFATHER" and not "God the Father"! He is not a God that takes takes takes from us like many believe. GOD morning - Happy Wednesday Pastor Andrew Wommack taught on Luke 2:14."Glory to GOD in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." So often this verse has been misunderstood. It does not state, peace among men---no it reads.peace toward men. This is talking about the peace of GOD toward mankind. When Adam & Eve sinned, they fell away from GOD spiritually. JESUS (YAHSHUA) came to earth to get that relationship back. GOD loves you no matter what the circumstance. This is where your faith comes into play. No matter what the circumstances or situations, GOD loves you. GOD'S love does not mean you will not face perceived problems. You live on planet earth. When perceived problems come, know that GOD is with you. And you will go through some things. You will not stay stuck in temporary situations. Your attitude will determine how long this process takes. You will go through to the other side. And GOD is with you all the way through. Holy Ghost TEACHER - by Pastor Andrew Wommack John 7:15 "And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?" JOHN 7:14-15 Jesus received His wisdom and knowledge by direct revelation from the Spirit of God rather than by the teachings of man. Jesus had been learning, but not through man. The Holy Ghost was His teacher. Jesus had to be taught the things of God. This looks contrary to Colossians 2:3, which says that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus. If Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, why would He have to learn or be taught? The harmony between these apparently opposite statements is that Jesus' spirit man was 100% God and had all of the wisdom and understanding of God in it, but it was manifest in natural flesh. It wasn't sinful flesh but it was flesh, nonetheless, and had to be educated. Jesus was not taught by man, but He was taught by the direct revelation of the Holy Spirit. The knowledge was within Him but it had to be drawn out. At the ...

ONE IN SPIRIT "Many problems arise from envy. James said, "For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work" (Jas. 3:16). Envy and strife go hand in hand and open the door to the devil to do anything he desires, in our life. Some people would never give place to the devil through confessing the wrong things, yet through envy, they give the enemy freedom to do his worst. God's kind of love is not envious or jealous because it doesn't seek it's own, but seeks the welfare of others. Envy is an indication of self-centeredness. ... The Lord has united every born-again Christian by baptizing us all into the body of Christ. This is already a reality. Like it or not, want it or not, every Christian is completely one in spirit with every other Christian. Failure to function as one, in our relationships with other believers means someone is not flowing in the Spirit. Our flesh is the part of us that gets in strife with other believers. As we operate in the Spirit more and more, we will come m ...
RELIGIOUS PRIDE BRINGS DISSENSION . . . [Expounding on - Mark 15:10 = "For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy."...] "The Jews were God's chosen people and therefore, God's representatives on earth. Yet, they lied and condemned an innocent man to death. Pilate could see that their real motivation for wanting Jesus dead was envy. They were doing all their religious works to be seen of men, and were upset that Jesus was getting more recognition than they were. If these Jews would have thought about what type of witness they were giving, even they would have known that their actions were not inspired by God. We should remember that we are God's witnesses on earth, or as Paul said, "We are epistles... known and read of all men" (2nd Corinthians 3:2). Judging our actions in the light of, "What kind of witness will this give to others?" will help us discern whether or not we are being led of God. The chief priests had deceived themselves and other religious people into believing that they ...

JESUS - THE NAME ABOVE NAMES by Andrew Wommack Ministries Luke 23:9 "Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing." LUKE 23:9 Not only does Jesus' refusal to defend Himself show His humility, but His refraining from venting His wrath against the man who senselessly killed His friend who was the greatest of the Old Testament prophets (Mt. 11:11), also displays His humble nature. Because of Christ's humility and obedience to the Father, God gave Him a name that is above every name in heaven, earth and under the earth. There is no exemption for anyone or anything from coming under the Lordship of Jesus. He is Lord of ALL. Jesus has not only been exalted above every "being" that has a name, but He is also highly exalted above anything else that can be named. If you can put a name on it, Jesus is above it. Sickness, poverty, depression, anger - everything has to bow its knee to the Lordship of Jesus. Every knee of men, angels, and demons will bow and confess that Jesus is Lord. Those ...

"Religion is the number 1 source of misinformation about the true nature of God." -by Andrew Wommack Ministries I totally agree, cause I've been deceived by religion as well, and I know what I this means! Religion is a tool in the hands of the devil to deceive people and to keep them away and separated from God, to present God in a distorted way filtered through the limited-human mind and understanding! Religion is OPPOSED to God, to the Truth of Jesus and to the leading of the Holy Spirit of God!
Grace by definition, the word grace means unmerited, unearned, undeserved favour. Therefore, the good news is, grace has nothing to do with you. Grace existed before you ever came to be. Another way of saying it is, grace is God’s part. Faith is defined as being a positive response to what God has already provided by grace. In other words, faith is your positive response to God’s grace, or faith only appropriates what God has already provided for you. Therefore, faith is your part. Grace and faith work together, and they must be in balance. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Sometimes we read a passage from Scripture that is so familiar, we don’t stop to think about what it is really saying. In this verse, a profound truth is being declared. It says we are saved by grace through faith, not one or the other. Think of it this way—grace is what God does; faith is what we do. I ...

WHAT IS A MIRACLE? ~by Andrew Wommack Luke 23:8 "And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him." "Herod desired to see Jesus perform some kind of miracle, and some of the questions he asked Jesus made this desire obvious. However, Jesus did not use His faith to do any miracles for Herod. Miracles are God's way of meeting the needs of those who seek Him in faith. Miracles will sometimes be used to demonstrate God's ability so that people may believe (Mk. 2:10-11), but they will not happen to skeptics who are tempting God (Lk. 4:9-12). A miracle is a supernatural intervention of God's power over natural law. Healings occur within the boundaries of natural law while miracles are not limited to natural law. A person with a high fever who receives prayer and then begins to recover is experiencing a healing. The Lord intervened but in natural ways. The virus, infection, ...
Awesome Words! SEEK GREATER REVELATION ~by Andrew Wommack John 18:20 "Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing." The truths of God are hidden for His children, not from them. The Holy Spirit has been instructed to teach us all things (Jn. 14:26) and has given us an unction so that we will know all things (1 Jn. 2:20). We only have to appropriate what is ours. What God desires His New Testament saints to know, that the Old Testament saints could not know, is "Christ in you the hope of glory." The coming of the Messiah was predicted in the Old Testament, but the idea that He would actually dwell in us was beyond anyone's imagination. However, the New Testament is clear that Christ, by the Holy Spirit, takes up permanent residence in all believers. This is a wonderful truth that some fail to fully appreciate. Solomon said at the dedication of the temple, "But will God indeed dwell on t ...

Never ASSUME that You Know A Person Because they Have ONE FLAW Bc I know Many People that Are Brilliant and I see their Flaws as Thorns in their Flesh! (Bishop Glenda Coleman on Thanksgiving Day in USA in 2013) Read this: By Andrew Wommack this "thorn" came because of the abundance of revelations Paul had received. Until a person has an abundance of revelations, similar to what Paul had, he is not going to have a "thorn." Then, verse 7 says it came lest Paul should be exalted above measure. Traditionally, that has been interpreted to say the thorn was to keep Paul humble. Therefore, God had to be the author of it, because only God would want Paul to be humble. Paul was not speaking of exalting himself above measure through pride, but rather, the thorn came from Satan to keep Paul from being exalted by God in the eyes of the people. Many more people would have received what Paul preached if everything was always "rosy" for him "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelat ...

I've just learned that I'm mentioned over a dozen times in Michael Brown's new book, *Hyper-Grace: Exposing the Dangers of the Modern Grace Message* Seeing the others who are on his list is an encouragement to me. Some of them are Francois Du Toit, Joseph Prince, Andre Rabe, Andrew Wommack, John Crowder, Andrew Farley, and Jeff Turner. Squanto! A gift from God!! How shocked the pilgrims were when Squanto spoke English!! He saved the pilgrims during the first winter. It was a brutal time for the pilgrims. They'd lost half of their family members. It came to the fall and they wanted to thank God! How many of us would thank God after losing half of our family members? We have so much to be grateful for! The next year it was really bad for the pilgrims. But let's talk a minute about Abraham Lincoln. In 1863 Abraham Lincoln wrote a Thanksgiving Day proclamation, but this was to be a national day of fasting, and thanking God for all His blessings! What? The union were big time losers at that point in the civil war, only winning 2 of the major battles! The confederates had won 14 or so. Why did Abraham Lincoln do this? Because the scriptures say to give thanks to God in everything. "We've been blessed beyond belief but we've forgotten God." Guess what happened? After this day of fasting and prayer and thanksgiving, the union only lost two batt ...

One of my favorite passages: 2 Cor. 5:14 (KJV) "For the love of Christ constraineth us" I don't share it very often because I think it is difficult to understand. Andrew Wommack says it best when he says the Grace and Love of God will cause us to "live holier on accident than we ever could on purpose." God doesn't constrain us, we constrain ourselves because of a revelation of His Love that causes us to live healthy, fulfilling, and fruitful lives.

Note 2 at Joh 18:14: Josephus, a first-century historian, wrote that Caiaphas was deposed from being high priest by the Roman governor Vitellius (The Antiquities of the Jews, Book 18, Chapter 4, Section 3) shortly after the crucifixion of Jesus.
We may sincerely desire to never deny our Lord, but it takes more than desire; it takes preparation. We all have been taught how to rely on ourselves, but we have to learn anew how to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Eph. 6:10). Just as in the physical realm, where muscles have to be exercised to become strong, so we have to exercise ourselves unto godliness (1 Tim. 4:7). ~ Andrew Wommack

Testimony: Putting God First I met a guy a couple weeks ago. This guy had an offer from the NY Yankees and a few other teams to play baseball. He turned it down. He turned it down because he is involved in a ministry at his church. He chose that over pro baseball and a big check. Awesome testimony. I have never done exactly that, but I did choose God over a marriage. I was engaged one time. The Lord was teaching me things in His word at the time. Her family didn’t like that too much and one thing lead to another. I didn’t stop getting into the Word and listening to sermons from Kenneth Copeland and Andrew Wommak. Suddenly, they changed their mind and wanted me to move to PA and get married. I didn’t do that either. I just couldn’t compromise the Lord. It didn’t take long and the engagement was broken because of my choices. I had the choice of not listening to Kenneth Copeland, and Andrew Wommack, and leaving NC for her. I chose God instead of her. When you look at these testimonies you will find ...

God And Country By Andrew Wommack Just as surely as the Lord told the pastor of the church at Ephesus that he had left his first love (Rev. 2:4), America has left its first love; i.e., God. The United States was founded by people who loved God. In 1620, the Pilgrims landed near what is today Plymouth, Massachusetts, erected a cross, and prayed for the Lord’s guidance and protection. From the very beginning, this nation was dedicated to God. Regardless of what revisionists to our history try to say, that’s the truth. How did the Lord tell the pastor in Ephesus to remedy his situation Revelation 2:5a says, Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works. To remember, repent, and return is what it means to do the first works. This is how the Lord told the pastor at Ephesus to get back what he had lost. This will also work for us as individuals, and it will work on the national level too. We need to remember how this nation started, repent for the way that it is, and ...
Being filled with the Holy Spirit is an absolute necessity for overcoming temptation. There are many Christians who received the Holy Spirit years ago and haven’t been full of the Holy Spirit a day since. It’s not about what happened to us long ago; we have to stay full of the Holy Spirit. One way of doing that is to speak in tongues on a regular basis. (Andrew Wommack) Jude 1:20-21 says, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”

David Barton and Andrew Wommack talk about the history of Thanksgiving. That first Thanksgiving, they thanked God that only half of their population had died of starvation. It was only after they decided to thank God, that God provided more than enough for the feast and to carry them through the next winter. Many years later, Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving, after almost losing the war, having won only 2 battles and losing 18, because the Bible says to be thankful IN ALL situations. After celebrating Thanksgiving, the Union only lost two battles. They thanked their way to victory.
In a rather unusual turn of events, we have learned that Andrew Wommack does not believe in OSAS -- 'Once Saved, Always Saved'. I guess it explains how the Dean could believe that way, and remain the Dean. Please understand that I am not against Andrew Wommack, as he is one of the best Gospel of Grace preachers to whom Genelyn and I have ever taken the time to listen. We are currently taking his course on Righteousness, and in it, Andrew very masterfully gives revelation as to who we are in Christ. But the problem with Andrew's viewpoint on OSAS (and it is a bit fluffy), is that it is based on a highly faulty interpretation of Hebrews 6 (most notably Hebrews 6: 4-6), where he assumes the writer (Paul), is referring to some believers who lost or walked away from their salvation, never to be able to have a change of heart again. However, when reading Hebrews 6, you have to take all of it in context and know to whom and of whom the writer (Paul), is speaking or referring. Joseph Prince has a great teaching o ...

Satan isn’t using a superhuman, angelic power and authority. He’s using mankind’s God-given power and authority that we yielded to him when we obeyed him and disobeyed God. A foremost authority on the founding of our nation is being interviewed last week and this week on Andrew Wommack ministry found on the website awmi.net David Barton has the largest collection of original documents before 1812 and is sharing some interesting facts about our nation's history. For example, did you know that an Indian named Squanto spoke English and helped educate the Pilgrims on how to hunt and fish and how to survive the harsh climate in Massachusetts. He had been educated in England when taken as a slave. The Pilgrims considered him to be God sent to help them survive. The Pilgrims set up the first Thanksgiving festival which incorporated inviting friends to a feast, praising and worshipping God giving thanks, athletic competitions with the Indians etc. Today we still do these things, the big dinner, thanking God, and football! The Pilgrims barely had enough food for themselves to last the winter but they invited their Indian friends and prayed to God to provide. Three days before ...
Andrew Wommack Ministries Bible Commentary John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Note 111 at Joh 17:23: God loves us the same as He loves Jesus. A true revelation of this will quicken our faith (Ga 5:6) to walk in the fullness of God (Eph 3:19). See note 4 at Lu 11:11.
Andrew Wommack Ministries Bible Commentary John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Note 107 at Joh 17:20: All these things that Jesus was praying for His disciples also apply to every believer throughout the whole church age. This prayer is for us!
Andrew Wommack Ministries Bible Commentary John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Note 106 at Joh 17:19: Jesus totally separated Himself unto God so that He could totally separate us unto God. Because Jesus became a man, He knows what it is like to be tempted (Heb 4:15), and He knows how to help us overcome every temptation (Heb 2:18).
Andrew Wommack Ministries Bible Commentary John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Note 97 at Joh 17:9: Jesus was not praying for the unbelievers. This was not because He doesn't love them. He sacrificed His life for them. There is no greater love than that (Joh 15:13). He has done everything for them that He can or will do until they receive His gift of salvation. Jesus' ministry, now that He is back with the Father, is to appear in the presence of God, making intercession for us (Heb 7:25 and 9:24).

Likewise, if we were not so dominated by considering the natural, we would not be surprised by the supernatural. We should expect to see the miraculous power of God manifest in our lives all the time. But the truth is, our hearts have become hardened toward God and His supernatural power because of our failure to stay focused on spiritual things. One of the benefits of understanding what causes hardheartedness is that you can reverse this process and use it to become hardened against the devil. That is absolutely true. You have the power to determine what your heart accepts or rejects. --- Andrew Wommack

HIS FATHOMLESS PAIN By Andrew Wommack "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." - Luke 22:44 LUKE 22:43-44 It is interesting that Luke is the only one of the gospel writers to mention that Jesus' sweat was as great drops of blood. This is probably because Luke was a physician (Col. 4:14), and therefore, this had special significance to him. There have been documented cases of people actually sweating drops of blood under extreme emotional pressure. This might explain why Luke is the only writer to mention the angel strengthening Jesus. Just as when Jesus encountered Satan during His forty days of fasting and temptation in the wilderness and the angels ministered unto Him (Mk. 1:13), so here, He needed supernatural strength to endure His sufferings. The use of the words "as it were" might also mean that the sweat of Jesus was only comparable to blood in consistency or size, but it certainly underscores the effect Jesus' a ...

Andrew wommack MARK 14:36 Although God was referred to as our Father in the Old Testament, Jesus' frequent use of this title brought a whole new understanding of our relationship with God. Jesus referred to God as His Father, and He spoke of God as being our Father as well. This infuriated the religious Jews of Jesus' day who considered it blasphemy to call God their Father, because they understood that to mean they were equal with God. We are instructed to call God our Father, revealing the kind, gentle, loving nature of our God. The term "Abba" is an affectionate term that a young child calls his father, which corresponds to our term "daddy." It is a term used to express intimacy and affectionate fondness. It removes the idea of God as a strict judge and carries the image of Him as a loving Father who cares, understands, and is our best friend. "Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God" (1 Jn. 3:1). We are sons of God by adoption. Jesus was th ...

God's Man, Plan, And Timing By Andrew Wommack Many years ago, the Lord dealt with me strongly using the life of Moses about His timing for His will. We can't speed up His timing, but we can slow it down. When Moses killed the Egyptian who was oppressing one of his Jewish brethren, he was trying to fulfill God's call on his life. I know that this is not the way the movie The Ten Commandments portrayed it, but that's the way the Bible portrays it. Acts 7:25 reveals that Moses supposed that the Jews would recognize him as God's deliverer, but they didn't. Moses knew he was a Jew, and he was aware of God's call on his life to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, but it's not enough to know what God wants you to do. You have to know God's plan and timing for accomplishing His will. Moses missed it on both of these counts. In Genesis 15:13, the Lord told Abram that his descendants would be in a strange land as servants for 400 years. Then Exodus 12:40-41 says, "Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, ...

SEEK THE WILL OF GOD Luke 22:42 "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." LUKE 22:41-42 Jesus knew it was the Father's will for Him to be made an offering for the sins of the world. This is true because He prophesied His death and resurrection many times before. However, because of His unique relationship with God, Jesus was asking God to accomplish His will some other way, but at the same time affirming His commitment to do His Father's will and not His own. He was not at a loss to know God's will and therefore, left this time of prayer trusting that whatever the Father deemed best for Him would happen. He knew, when He began praying what the Father's will was and He knew at the close of His prayer, that God's will could not be accomplished any other way. For us to pray, "Lord, if it be thy will" in response to a promise that God has given us is nothing but unbelief and is not even remotely related to what Jesus did in the Garden of Geths ...

Great nugget by Andrew Wommack! Praying, "if it be thy will" takes us out of the active position of believing and puts us in the passive position of waiting and letting circumstances rule our lives. If we are seeking direction in an area where God's will is not already expressed through His Word, then we should pray James 1:5, and ask for wisdom. Then we can believe that we receive when we pray, and with that knowledge continue our prayer in faith!
HIS WILL IS IN THE WORD . . . [Expounding on - John 17:17 = "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."...] "In this prayer, Jesus prayed twice that the Father would keep His disciples from evil. Then He reveals the way that God will accomplish this - through His Word, the holy scriptures. Anyone who desires to live for God, reject the devil, and reject the world's system, must know God's Word. We must study the scriptures, for they reveal the will of God for our actions and attitudes. To be filled with the knowledge of God's will, we must be filled with God's Word. God's Word is His will! Those who are ignorant of God's Word will be ignorant of God's will. Knowledge of God's will is foundational in developing Christian conduct and character. There is no way we can fulfill God's will if we don't know what it is. The starting point for any Christian is understanding God's will for his life. How can a person obtain such knowledge? The first step is to desire it. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "And ye shall ...

I'm just going through a series by Andrew Wommack which I'd encourage all to listen to. this is not a bunch if religious jargon. Most Christians believe God CAN do anything, but they don't believe that He HAS done very much. They live their whole Christian lives seeking, trying to get the Lord to heal, deliver, bless, and prosper them; but He's already done it. The true key to the Christian life is to quit asking and start believing and commanding. This series will challenge your beliefs, and if accepted, it will change your life. The series is called "You've Already Got It"
It's difficult to give Gods UNCONDITIONAL love, if you have never received it. - Andrew Wommack.
“Just like a lost person’s good actions cannot change their sin nature, neither can a born-again believer’s sinful actions change their righteous nature. Many Christians have accepted one side of this truth, but not the other… Your nature doesn’t become corrupted every time you sin any more than your nature became righteous every time you did something holy before you were born again.” — Andrew Wommack
I lay here in my bed laughing to myself on myself. I thought I was a good person all I saw I was not like the others I only have one boyfriend am not sleeping around, but little did I know that sin was and is sin. I was far from the truth satan blind our eyes, don't be blinded there in no better sin. As Andrew Wommack will say "who wants to be the best sinner that goes to *** ". Let us not think our sin is better than the other, I've been living that lie all my life. What makes us think our small sin is better than hitlers great one. Thou shall not kill, but I only lie I didn't kill millions like that man. No u didn't but you lie, you steal, you commit fornication, adultery, covet your neighbor things and the list goes on. Let us humble ourselves and ask God for mercy, forgiveness, deliverance, restoration and salvation in Jesus name. Good day all
To be spiritually minded is to be Word minded! John 6:63 says, "The Words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life." GOD's Word is spirit and life. So when you're thinking GOD's Word, you're spiritually (thinking) minded. -Andrew Wommack
Paul said he was not ashamed of the Gospel. Why? “For it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The Gospel is the power of God, and that’s talking about grace. Acts 20:24 and Galatians 1:6 both use the terms “gospel” and “grace” interchangeably. It’s saying that when you understand the Gospel, or the grace of God, it’ll release the power of God into your life. That’s huge! ~Andrew Wommack
The book of Romans was written to explain the Gospel so that anybody could understand it. Paul, the writer, made it so simple that you’d have to have somebody help you to misunderstand it. And, unfortunately, we’ve had a lot of help! Andrew Wommack (ma)

OVERCOME TRIBULATION . . . [Expounding on - John 16:33 = "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."...] "Jesus said we would have tribulation. He did not say that He was the one bringing the tribulation or what the tribulation would be, but He said it would come. Then He made the amazing statement that in the midst of tribulation we were to be of good cheer. Tribulations exist because there is a battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil. When we operate in faith, God is able to grant us such victory that we are actually better off because of the battle. It's just like when a army goes to war. If they win, they gain spoils. But if they embrace their enemy because of the spoils they were expecting to receive, they will be killed instead of blessed. First, you have to fight and win the war and then, and only then, will the spoils be available. The enemy doesn't come to be ...

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.” And in Galatians 2:20, we read, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” These Bible verses teach that we are supposed to be dead to self and alive in Christ. And if we are really dead, it would be impossible to be offended. Dead people never feel a thing. They can be kicked, insulted, or even lied about, and they just don’t care. The reason we are so easily hurt or offended is that we are still alive to self and full of pride. However, if we focus on becoming dead to self and alive in Christ, we will probably fail. I used to resurrect self every morning in prayer while trying my best to kill it. I confessed all of the sins I thought I had committed: “Pride! Arrogance! Failure to study the Word!” On and on it would go until at the end of my devotio ...

A NEW REVELATION OF LOVE . . . [Expounding on - John 13:34 = "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."...] "Jesus previously stated that all the law and the prophets were dependent on loving God first, and then loving your neighbor as yourself. These truths were already in the law but people missed them. So, this commandment was not new in the sense that it had never been given before, but it was brought to the forefront and given new meaning through the example of Jesus. Jesus not only loved His neighbor as Himself, He loved us more than Himself. John, the apostle who wrote this gospel, later wrote about the new commandment of love. No doubt, he received his inspiration from this teaching of Jesus. John wrote, "Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which t ...

The Reality Of Faith-Article by Andrew Wommack on The Believer’s Authority. "Until you understand the power and authority that God has given you, you will never be able to defeat the devil, receive healing, prosper, and live in victory. Knowing your authority is the key! This teaching is an absolute necessity for every believer. Gen 1:26. When we are resisting the devil and fighting against him, Satan does not have a superior power or authority. He is absolutely dependent upon the cooperation of a human being who will empower him with the authority God gave them. UBARIKIWE SANA.

God's love isn't just one-dimensional. There is height, depth, length, and breadth to it. Many Christians only see God's love as they would see a painting, in one-dimension. They've never seen the multi-dimensional reality of God's love. ~Andrew Wommack

Fear visits once in a while, but I don't let him move in!! Joyce Meyer How often I get stuck in the past and tomorrow, and fear the worst! I realize today that the negative can easily take over my mind, body, spirit and life! Living in the past, I cannot move forward until I let go. Living for tomorrow, I allow the fear to take over which leads to anxiety, more worry, ...depression and where do I go from there? Prayer helps, alittle love from family and friends, and of course thinking positive! THIS TOO SHALL PASS! What's the worst that can happen. I took OFA 1 yesterday and passed. Mind you, if you every faint or bleed in front of me, I will scream panic and run! The certificate doesn't change that in me!! We don’t experience divine intervention until we get out on a limb — that’s where the fruit grows. Most of us are hugging the trunk. We’re afraid to get out there on the limb because we don’t like swaying in the breeze. We want the stability of the trunk. EMBRACE THE Holy Spirit By Andrew Wommack "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you." - John 16:7 The Greek word translated "expedient" means "to be an advantage; profitable." How could any situation be more advantageous or profitable than having Jesus physically with you? When Jesus walked on this earth in His physical body, He was subject to many physical limitations. For instance, He could not always be with every one of His disciples all the time. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, He could. Instead of Satan getting rid of Jesus, 120 "little Christs" (that is literally what the word "Christian" means) came out of the upper room on the day of Pentecost. Jesus taught His disciples as no teacher ever had, yet they had very little understanding because they were not born again. However, when the Holy Spirit came, He lead them into all truth and even showed them thin ...

Andrew Wommack Ministry Devotional EXPECT PERSECUTION John 15:19 "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." JOHN 15:19 We should not think it is strange to be persecuted. "All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" (2 Tim. 3:12). We can actually rejoice because we are being persecuted for Jesus' sake, and the Lord will be with us in the midst of the persecution. When we stand before Him, there will be more than ample reward. Persecution is a token that those persecuting you are under conviction. They realize that they are not living what your words or actions are advocating and in self defense, they attack you, who they perceive is the source of their conviction. If you understand this, it makes persecution much easier to take. They aren't just mad at you; they are convicted. When the gospel is presented in the power of the Holy Spirit, there will always be eit ...

There are some people out there who to try to sell to Christians that they can't sin, that it's not possible to sin. They have a term they use called "sin consciousness," which they claim is bad and preaching sin should not be done. That being aware of your own sin is somehow a work of the devil and one shouldn't allow that. And they will defend to the death their warped views as they twist Scripture verses to conform to their false teaching of Christian perfectionism. They believe any humility for one's sins is a false humility. Here's the essence of their false teaching: Sin consciousness appears to be a humble position, but what it accomplishes is to place your focus upon you and your sinfulness rather than Jesus and His righteousness, of which you possess through the new birth (2 Corinthians 5:21). The primary proof text for their beliefs and doctrine is Hebrews 10: 1-2 where it reads in the KJV: Quote: 1For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can neve ...
