BT Ranking the series: * (4) Rockets vs (5) Blazers: Two of the top five scoring teams will provide plenty of juice from the opening tip. James Harden, Damian Lilard and Chandler Parsons will space the floor while Aldridge and D-12 fight for paint supremacy. Buckle in for the most entertaining Round 1 series. Rockets in 6. *(3) Clippers vs (6) Warriors: Is Mark Jackson truly coaching for his job? As crazy as it sounds, the answer is yes. The "Splash Brothers" duo of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson will bomb away, but Andrew Bogut's muscle will be sorely missed inside. These teams genuinely dislike one another and sparks will fly again, but minus the big Aussie, the Dubs fail to advance. By the way, for all of the hype, it's time for CP3 to play into June. The trek starts well, Clippers in 6. * (2) OKC vs (7) Memphis: Nice contrast in styles as Kevin Durant looks to follow up his MVP season with a run to the Finals. His top running mate provides plenty of highlights, and while the Grizz possess excellent def ...
Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks . . . . . . A game of contrasts for the Warriors but they get the 101-80 win against the Bucks. The front-court of David Lee (22p/18r), Andre Iguodala (11p/7r/5a) and Andrew Bogut (8p/12r/3a) combined in 17-21 from the field and 3-3 from three, whilst Steph Curry (15p/6a/7to) and Klay Thompson (15p) had 11-36 from the field and 3-17 from three. Ersan Ilyasova had 20 points and six boards for the hosts, Brandon Knight had 18 points and four assists, OJ Mayo had 13 and Khris Middleton 10.
The Detroit Pistons @ Golden State Warriors . . . . . . . The Warriors cruise to an easy 113-95 W over the visiting Pistons, set up by a 35-16 opening term. Steph Curry had 7-10 from the field for 25 points to go with eight assists whilst David Lee (nine boards, two assists) and Jermaine O'Neal (six rebounds) both had 17. Klay Thompson had 6-9 from the field for 14 points and Andrew Bogut added eight points, nine boards and two blocks. Andre Drummond had 16 points, 14 boards, three steals and three blocks for the visitors, Greg Monroe 15 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals and Will Bynum 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals off the bench.
I'm rollin out the "I'm Sure No One is Reading These or Cares But I'm Going to Do This Anyway" NBA preview. Imma do a couple teams a day starting tomorrow but tonight: NBA League Pass Best 5 team ticket: With NBA LP you get 5 teams to watch. Here are my rankings for the best 5 team package: 1) Miami Heat- The defending champs. The best player in basketball. And the drama of a season in which the wheels might come off. Tip: Don't ever use the Miami brodcast (You get to choose now). 2) GS Warriors- This team has the potential to be the most entertaining in the league offensively. A floor that contains Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andre Iguodala makes every open floor play one to watch. Throw in Harrison Barnes and a possibly healthy Andrew Bogut and this team also looks to be important, as well as interesting. 3) Chicago Bulls- Derrick Rose IS BACK! After all his time off he came to preseason and showed no fear on that knee of his. In his absence we've talked about Chris Paul, Russel Westbrook, Tony Park ...
"I can't wait to get out to the Bay this season, and watch the most exciting team in the NBA -- the Golden State Warriors. All due respect to the Heat and LeBron, there's nothing better in the Association right now than Steph Curry and Klay Thompson raining 3-pointers on the break, and the league's most boisterous home crowd going nuts. Add a new Andre Iguodala, a healthy Andrew Bogut and a slimmer Draymond Green ... yeah, this could be fun." - David Aldridge, NBA news
Dear Golden State Warriors: Walk away from Dwight Howard, and do not trade David Lee. Give Lee and Bogut a full year in the paint together, with Brandon Rush coming back, Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry filling it up. I know it's a business, but consider team chemistry, the respect for the coach, and most of all, the fans.
Top 5 Landing Spots for Dwight Howard 1. Golden State Warriors It's a long shot, but Golden State should try to go all in for Dwight Howard, too, as the big man could complete the championship puzzle they are building over there in California. They might have to give up Andrew Bogut and, more importantly, Harrison Barnes (or Klay Thompson) in order to execute a sign-and-trade for the prized center. But when a talent like Howard becomes available on the market, you swing for the fences to get him. If and when they close a deal, Mark Jackson and the Warriors will have a bevy of 3-point shooters and shot creators like Steph Curry and Thompson surrounding a big man who can dominate inside the shaded area and anchor their defense. 2. Houston Rockets The Rockets have been unloading pieces in a bid to offer Howard the max. Today, they showed Carlos Delfino and Aaron Brooks the door and traded promising forward Thomas Robinson to Portland for rights and second-round picks. Reports have Houston as frontrunners to ...
Do any of you have any Non Nets/ Knicks basketball teams that you root for? My top 3 non nets teams are: 1.) Lakers- my dad is an LAL fan (dad is a lover of great coaches, he admires Phil Jackson, Greg Pop, and Tom Thib.) And, well, MAM-BA MAM-BA MAM-BA 2.) Dallas Mavs Vince Carter is my favorite player in NBA history, and he's the one who sparked my interest in the Nets when I was very young. He's the reason I'm a Nets fan today 3.) Golden State Warriors I love jump- shooting teams and players, and Steph Curry is the best there is at it right now. I also think Jarret Jack should have won 6th man and Andrew Bogut is one of the most underrated players right now along with David Lee. Both walking double doubles when healthy and playing up to potential. -Dante
The NBA’s All-Defensive teams were announced on Monday, and no Golden State Warrior received a vote. Pretty standard, especially for a Warriors team that ranked only 14th in defensive efficiency during the regular season, a squad whose best defender (Andrew Bogut) has first team potential, but struggled throughout the regular season with ankle woes. In his never-ending quest to motivate his young club, Mark Jackson offered up the sort of “us against the world”-technique that has worked so well for him this season. Here’s his response, as quoted by Rusty Simmons at SF Gate: “Get in line,” Warriors head coach Mark Jackson said before his team flew from the Bay Area to San Antonio for Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals. “Our executive finished in seventh place. Steph Curry was home during All-Star week. Joe Lacob is probably the No. 7 owner in the league. Harrison Barnes didn’t get any Rookie of the Year votes. He shouldn’t have been the Rookie of the Year, but he should be Firs ...
Hi, my name is Boris Diaw and I can guard Steph Curry and Andrew Bogut.
Press Pass: Curry and Bogut: Golden State's Steph Curry and Andrew Bogut talk with the media after the Warriors...
You're dumb. They have Steph Curry, andrew bogut, clay thompson, carl landry, and Jarrett Jack coming of the bench
The midget backcourt of Monte Ellis and Steph Curry had its own problems, but Andrew Bogut is just...oh so bad.
Monte Poole: David Lee the key for Warriors OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Golden State Warriors enter the jaws of the season with concerns aplenty, from Steph Curry's troubling turnover trend to Andrew Bogut's spotty availability to the maddening inconsistencies of young guns Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes. All valid issues, yes, but none will more accurately dictate the team's direction than the contributions of David Lee. The Warriors have shown they can win games with Curry playing poorly and lose them with him playing well, shown they can win without Bogut and lose with him. They have demonstrated they can survive vast swings in production from Thompson and Barnes, and occasional low-impact efforts from bench leaders Jarrett Jack and... ~SportsMan

Clippers- Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford. VS Trailblazers- Lemarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard and Nic Batum. Lakers- Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Steve Nash VS Knicks- Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stodemire and Tyson Chandler. Golden State- Steph Curry, David Lee and Andrew Bogut. VS Chicago Bulls- Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah. Second half of round 1 will be released soon. -JD
The Golden State Warriors finish off a five game eastern conference road trip undefeated at 5-0, finishing the trip by knocking off the Miami Heat 97-95. The Warriors are now 15-7 and are doing all this without their star center, Andrew Bogut. PG Steph Curry is having an MVP worthy season and David Lee is back to playing the way he did when he was with the Knicks, averaging 18.8 PPG and 11.2 RPG. The Warriors are in fifth place in the Western Conference and are only three games back of the seeded San Antonio Spurs. Time to take this team serious as a playoff contender folks.
I want to take this time to shoutout a few teams and players that don't get enought recognition. This will be a little long, so just ignore if you don't wanna read. The Golden State Warriors have been playing well this year, and were leading the Pacific division up until recently. Steph Curry (19.1ppg 6.6apg) has stayed healthy, and has been balling. Klay Thompson has improved upon his rookie year, and David Lee is been playing at an All-Star level this year. He's dropping 17.6ppg 10.7rpg and 3.8apg, playing alongside Festus Ezeli (don't sleep on him, he will be good in the future) instead of Andrew Bogut. Don't overlook the loss of Brandon Rush either, because he is a key player on this team. However, GSW has been playing well regardless. Although the Utah Jazz are at 10-10 this year, I have to give props to Al Jefferson, who's putting up a quiet 17.4ppg and 10.7rpg. For too long, we have overlooked the man arguably possessing the best post game in basketball. Utah isn't a big market, of course, but they ...
Jarrett Jack at the 1, Steph Curry at the 2, Klay Thompson at the 3, David Lee at the 4 and Andrew Bogut at the 5. I can roll with that.
"If you like listening to music that everyone else has “probably never heard of”, you should watch the: Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors Hey, if this band just had a better sound system and the instruments were in tune and the songwriting was better and the drummer wasn’t out all the time — they’d be really good! The Warriors and the Raptors need everything to break their way to nab a playoff spot. That’s counting on Andrew Bogut, Steph Curry, and Andrea Bargnani all being healthy for a full slate. That probably won’t happen, but if it does, you’re not going to like them anymore, anyway. That’s how that works, right?"
Warriors are gonna tear it up this season. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson,Harrison Barnes aka rookie of the year, David Lee, Andrew Bogut. Playoffs here we come. All you heat, lakers fans should stop bandwaggoning and go like a real team. Golden State all the way.

Steph Curry and C from Australia Andrew Bogut are injury prone. See moves the Warriors made in case of more injuries
Can Golden State make the playoffs with a healthy Andrew Bogut and Steph Curry?
Don't sleep on Golden State next NBA season. Steph Curry and Andrew Bogut are healthy plus Klay Thompson, David Lee and Dorrell Wright
guard Steph Curry says he will be at full strength for the Warriors first game of the season. Unfortunately centre Andrew Bogut isnt progressing as well as Curry, with Bogut still being unable to run. The Golden State Warriors are really needing Curry and Bogut to be healthy. Golden State will have a solid squad with these two on deck.
Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes. are going to have some lethal shooters on that team. D-Lee & Andrew Bogut @ 4 & 5
If Steph Curry stops spraining ankles & Andrew Bogut avoids his third consecutive freak injury, I really like this year's Golden State team.
Steph Curry, David Lee, Andrew Bogut, Dorrell Wright, Klay Thompson, and now Harrison. Not to mention Rich Jefferson and Brandon Rush. 2k
Put Rudy *** on GS and you've got a playoff team. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Rudy *** David Lee, and Andrew Bogut is a nice starting 5.
I would trade D Wade for Andrew Bogut and Steph Curry.

Golden State will be without at least Andrew Bogut and Steph Curry.
The sign outside Oracle Arena with Steph Curry and Andrew Bogut touting 2013 season tix is pretty funny. It's all about tomorrow.
