Attorney Larry Klayman, founder of Freedom Watch, brought about the case remains on the court docket. Klayman recently made headlines for his successful fight against Obama’s NSA spy program. Alabama Republican Party is made up of conservative Democrats. That's no secret. Unfortunately, real Republicans do get elected.
Last week in Birmingham, the Alabama Republican Party hosted Chairmen and their staff from across the south to Birmingham to begin a program that will help Republicans across the nation be more successful, beginning in 2014. Following the 2012 election, we knew that we had to make changes to how the RNC operates in order to take back the US Senate in 2014 and ultimately the presidency in 2016. As a result, one of the new programs that the RNC is implementing at the urging of ALGOP Chairman Bill Armistead is RNC Regional Meetings. ALGOP was proud to host the first of these meetings, where we were able to share our ideas for the upcoming election cycle. We believe that communication between states with similar backgrounds is key to our collective success as a party in the future. As mentioned before, one of our most pressing goals is reclaiming the US Senate for Republicans in 2014. Of course, our first priority is to ensure that we don’t lose any of the current seats that we now hold in the US Senate. ...
Flying home to West Virginia. The RNC Southern Region Fly-In Meeting has concluded and I am looking forward to reporting the exciting things to come this year. The southern region includes Alabama Republican Party, Mississippi Republican Party, Republican Party of Arkansas, Georgia Republican Party, Republican Party of Louisiana, North Carolina Republican Party, Oklahoma Republican Party, South Carolina Republican Party, Tennessee Republican Party and the WVGOP. Matt Pinnell, the RNC State Party Director organized a great meeting and I believe we have all benefited from it. I look forward to working with the southern region to pool resources so we can all be successful in 2014!
We at the Alabama Republican Party hope that everyone enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day weekend and were able to spend time with your families celebrating f

Republicans are bringing in Dr. Ben Carson, renowned neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins who is the American example of someone who has achieved great success from a broken home and humble background. Dr. Carson will be the guest speaker this evening at a dinner in Daphne, AL sponsored by the Baldwin County Republican Party. The Democrats have invited radical hate-monger Minister Louis Farrakhan with the Nation of Islam to tour the state today with Democrat leaders Sen. Hank Sanders and Dr. Joe Reed in support of the Voting Rights Act of 19 ...
Democrat District Attorney and Circuit Judge Switch to Republican Party Birmingham, AL - Bill Armistead, Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, announced today that two elected Democrats in DeKalb and Cherokee County are leaving the Democrat Party for the Republican Party. Both District Attorney Mike O'Dell and Circuit Judge Jeremy Taylor representing DeKalb and Cherokee Counties said the Democrat Party has become too liberal for them and are announcing their affiliation with the Republican Party. District Attorney O'Dell said, "I have not changed, but the national Democrat Party certainly has. It is no longer the Democrat Party of my father or my grandfather. It has changed dramatically on important social, moral, and fiscal issues, becoming far too liberal for my conscience." O'Dell went on to say "I believe it is important for me to stand up for what I believe. I have always considered myself a conservative Christian, then a public servant. Politics have never played a role in how I, or my staff, .. ...

Republican Security Council Our Republican of the day is Holly Shepherd Lollar of Birmingham, who was elected one week ago as a new Vice Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. She previously worked in DC for Concerned Women for America and Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL). Former Gov. Bob Riley and current Gov. Robert Bentley both appointed her to the Alabama State Service Commission where she will serve until 2016. Since 2009 she has operated her own public relations firm, and her major client is Verizon Wireless. She is a past recipient of both the PEAK Award for Ad Woman of the Year and Public Relations Director of the Year given by the American Advertising Federation. Lollar, 32, is the mother of two daughters and her husband Chris is a CPA with a major national firm. She is concerned about the Obama economy and says "I have seen many of my clients suffer because we have too much government regulation. This stops companies from hiring more employees and making growth decisions." When asked "If you could ...
I want to express my gratitude to Eunie Smith for your endorsement. I want to share your thoughts with everyone and thank you for your support. Dear Bill, This letter if to express my personal appreciation and admiration for the way in which you have consistently conducted yourself in the political arena. One of my early recollections of your service to sound education policy was your hand in drafting Gov. Fob James’ education agenda while you were on his staff. Your service in the state senate was stellar, and your first term contribution to the Alabama Republican Party did not stop with your having brought in sterling speakers across the state to raise money. In addition, you tirelessly recruited and organized Alabamians to work other states for the Republican ticket. The sky will be the limit in a second term under your leadership with the experience and enthusiasm that you bring to the table. Thank you for being willing to serve in these critical times for our country, for your unswerving integr ...

Obama: The Evils Of Negative Campaign Ads August 10th, 2012 If the Olympics gave a gold medal for hypocrisy, Obama would be able to put it next to his Nobel Prize and Grammies: Obama: "If you can’t beat your opponent’s ideas, you distort those ideas — maybe you just make some up! If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as somebody people should run away from. You make big elections about small things." That is just one example of the things Obama has said in the past about the evils of negative campaign ads. Here are a few more, courtesy of the Alabama Republican Party: Obama Said Negative Ads “Do The American People A Disservice By Trying To Distract Us From The Very Real Challenges That We Face.” OBAMA: “All of those negative ads that he’s running won’t do a thing to lower your gas prices or to lift up the debate in this country. The fact is, these Washington tactics do the American people a disservice by trying to distract us from the very real challenges th ...
isaac Hunter That's right. My mom was a "Lincoln Republican. The Republican Party was considered to be the "liberal" party in the south in the 1940, 1950's and early 1960's. I was actually registered to vote to the efforts of the Alabama Republican Party and the Overseas Republicans in London, England. But you must never forget that right after President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Bill in 1965, the overwhelming majority of the *** hating white Southern Democrats, switched to the Republican Party, bringing all of their "Jim Crow" hatred baggage with them. Today's Republican Party is dominated by the former white bigot, who were once members of the white Democratic Party in the South. So, when millions southern Blacks registered for the first time in their lives, they registered in the Democratic Party. And that is why 90% of Blacks are registered Democrats and 85%-90% of white southerners are members of the Republican Party. Hence, part of the recent history of the political divide in the USA.
