Here is a very general mix of what the song is going to sound like. We are almost done! Landsharks Band Recording Sessions, in Vero Beach! "Jimmy Buffett For President" We will be updating the sessions regularly and will also post the finished recorded song, as well as additional recordings and updates, and also the video, once it is completed. Recorded at the "Landshark Shack." Disclaimer" The Landsharks are not affiliated with any political party, other than the "parrothead party!" Lyrics I nominate Jimmy Buffett for president A Margaritaville government Let's put the pirate in the White House, And move the capital down south You know we're all in the same boat We need a captain who can keep us afloat It's your our own *** fault If you don't vote Jimmy Buffett for president He'd have a concert on Capitol Hill And turn it into Margaritaville Tailgatin' on the White House lawn Imagine Jimmy flying Air Force One You know he'd close down the IRS And plunder the governments treasure chest At least we'd know ...
Decades back, in late 1972, South Vietnam and the United States were winning the Vietnam War decisively by every conceivable measure. That's not just my view. That was the view of our enemy, the North Vietnamese government officials. Victory was apparent when President Nixon ordered the U.S. Air Force to bomb industrial and military targets in Hanoi, North Viet Nam's capital city, and in Haiphong, its major port city, and we would stop the bombing if the North Vietnamese would attend the Paris Peace Talks that they had left earlier. The North Vietnamese did go back to the Paris Peace talks, and we did stop the bombing as promised. On January the 23rd, 1973, President Nixon gave a speech to the nation on primetime television announcing that the Paris Peace Accords had been initialed by the United States, South Vietnam, North Vietnam, the Viet Cong, and the Accords would be signed on the 27th. What the United States and South Vietnam received in those accords was victory. At the White House, it was called " ...
President Obama has returned to the White House and tomorrow is scheduled to speak before the American Legion 96th National Convention in Charlotte, NC. I want everyone to remember what Obama has done to our military. He has enacted policy decisions resulting in an Army as small as it was in 1940, before conscription; a US Marine Corps resembling post World War I numbers; a Navy the size it was in 1917, before our entry into World War I; an Air Force flying the oldest — and smallest — fleet of planes in its history; and a nuclear arsenal no larger than it was during the Truman administration. And let us not forget Obama embraced the family of a deserter while deserting Marine SGT Andrew Tahmooressi. He continues to tell our enemies what HE is not willing to do -- and the result of that weakness? A beheaded American. So what lies will be spun tomorrow as he takes the stage? Obama has rejected the Reagan policy of "peace through strength" and his administration has not been truthful about the VA scand . ...
Reagan White House Cabinet member and author, Michael Keith Deaver was born in Bakersfield, Cal., April 11, 1938. He served as Deputy White House Chief of Staff under James Baker III and Donald Regan from January 1981 to May 1985. The son of a Shell Oil Company distributor, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from San Jose State College and worked for IBM. He served in the US Air Force and later was executive director of the Santa Clara County Republican Party. In 1966 he was part of the Gubernatorial staff during Ronald Reagan’s term as Governor of California. Deaver formed his own consulting company after Reagan’s term as governor, with Reagan as one of his chief clients. While serving on President Reagan’s staff, Deaver along with Chief of Staff James Baker and Counselor to the President Ed Meese were known as “The Troika” by some observers of the White House due to their influence over policy and overall direction the administration took while they served on the White House ...

A statement from the White House budget office says a section of the spending bill authored by Rep. Tom Cole "would prevent the Air Force from using funds to divest or to disestablish any units of the active or reserve component associated with E-3 airborne warning and control system aircraft.
By all rights, the EU and the rest of the world are protesting against Russian President Vladimir Putin's annexation of Crimea and his use of violence. But there is also reason to protest against the United StatesPresident Barack Obama, who is operating a low-intensity war far away from the country's own borders. It was George W. Bush who declared war against terrorism after the attacks on the U.S.A. on Sept. 11, 2001. The peace prize recipient, Barack Obama, has taken over not just the rhetoric, but also some of the methods of his warring predecessor. Since 2004, the U.S. Air Force, commissioned by the CIA, has killed suspected terrorists in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia via unmanned, remote controlled aircraft armed with guided missiles. After there was criticism of the Guantanamo detention camp, the U.S.A. began, with the help of drones, to kill suspected rebels instead of taking them captive. According to the White House, this tactic is successful. Barack Obama claims that no missiles are fired if i ...

The sentence was reported in "The Final Days", Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein It was said by Kissinger in front of Alexander Haig, newly appointed White House chief of staff, in Haig new office in 1973 I quote to you the sentences related: as you may notice the quote between brackets is "dumb, stupid animals to be used" that was never denied by Kissinger Quote: . In Haig's presence, Kissinger referred pointedly to military men as "dumb, stupid animals to be used" as pawns for foreign policy. Kissinger often took up a post outside the doorway to Haig's office and dressed him down in front of the secretaries for alleged acts of incompetence with which Haig was not even remotely involved. Once when the Air Force was authorized to resume bombing of North Vietnam, the planes did not fly on certain days because of bad weather. Kissinger assailed Haig. He complained bitterly that the generals had been screamin for the limits to be taken off but that now their pilots were afraid to go up in a little fog. The cou ...

Bigger Than Watergate...? Syndicated columnist and Fox News analyst Charles Krauthammer went so far as to say that the discovery of the 'talking points' email to then-UN Ambassador Susan Rice is "the equivalent of what was discovered with the Nixon tapes." And according to The Washington Times, some in Congress are even saying that the Obama administration has engaged in "perhaps criminal" behavior. The Times adds: "A retired Air Force brigadier general who was in the U.S. Africa Command's headquarters the night of the 2012 attack on the American diplomatic post in Benghazi testified that... it was either negligence or willful ignorance that led the White House, amid a re-election campaign, to say the violence was ignited by anger over a video." And so, we hope and pray that Mr. Boehner is sincere in his newly found resolve to get behind the idea of a Select Committee… but we need to do more than just hope and pray. Krauthammer again: "The point is that Republicans have done a terrible job in building t ...
Republicans have been claiming for nearly two years that the president and his White House are lying about Benghazi. Republicans have never offered a shred of evidence that anyone associated with the White House is lying. In March, the Pentagon revealed that the now more than 50 congressional hearings, briefings and interviews have cost taxpayers millions of dollars. Republicans have spent millions of dollars investigating Benghazi, and they have turned up nothing. Yet, Lindsey Graham is sure that the White House is full of scumbags who are lying about Benghazi. The liar here is Sen. Graham. In a 1998, Roll Call article, Graham was busted for claiming that he served overseas during the Gulf War: Despite repeated statements that he served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Rep. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) was actually living out of harm’s way at home in South Carolina, where he was processing wills and other paperwork for the Air Force during the entire course of the conflict. On his official web ...

Today is the anniversary of my Longest Day in the U.S. Air Force. It was 33 years ago I was walking into the White House compound when a Soldier in my section was walking out. She said Hi, then alerted me there was a assassination attempt against President Ronald Reagan. My first thoughts were mixed and I asked her if she should be leaving under the circumstances.  She didn't know the President was struck by a bullet but told me about others being hurt. She continued to leave as I rushed into the Duty Station to hear the Radios a buzz while the switchboard was quiet. Returning to the Radio room I heard Jerry Parr, the President's lead Agent announce that the President was coughing up blood and would reroute the Presidents motorcade to the hospital.  Agent Parr was asked if the President had been struck? He looked over the President and couldn't find where. He suggested tackling the President into the Limo may have broke a rib on the transmission hub they both landed on. I heard others say that ABC NEWS ...

From Jim: Now that the movie, “Captain Phillips” about the Maersk Alabama hijacking by Somali pirates is out, we need to inform the public about some facts of that event that haven’t been made public before. The following article of facts regarding the incident was written by Dr. John “Jack” Wheeler. Dr. Wheeler was a man of honor: a West Point graduate, a Vietnam veteran, and the man who was the driving force behind financing the construction of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. He fought long and hard for the dignity and honor of the fallen Vietnam War soldiers. He served three presidents as an aide and advisor -- Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, for whom he was a special assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force and a military consultant. Jack Wheeler was a graduate student at the Harvard Business School when he was recruited to be an advisor to the president regarding military tactics. He was a man of integrity and served on the General Staff at the Pentagon. Shortly after ...
President Barack Obama has begun the deployment of 4 CV-22 Osprey aircraft and approximately 150 Air Force Special Operations Forces to the central-African nation of Uganda in search of infamous warlord Joseph Kony. The aircraft will be used for rapid troop movement to suspected locations of Kony and/or members of his Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). While the Air Force operators are armed for combat, their mission is - according to the White House - strictly advisory and support-centric, and are confined to the standard rules of engagement for such a mission (self-defense). The current deployment is expected to arrive mid-week, bringing the total of U.S. troops in Uganda to approximately 300. While Kony's LRA has taken significant hits since 2010, the warlord has not been definitely spotted in quite a while. His current force is estimated to remain around 250 strong, while the force moves constantly throughout a massive belt in central Africa, from Uganda and South Sudan to the CAR and Congo.
White House pull report says Air Force One is preparing for liftoff at 3:29 p.m. from to Joint Base Andrews.
Colonel Phil "Hands" Handley is credited with the highest speed air- to-air gun kill in the history of aerial combat. He flew operationally for all but 11 months of a 26-year career, in aircraft such as the F-86 Sabre, F-15 Eagle, and the C-130A Hercules. Additionally, he flew 275 combat missions during two tours in Southeast Asia in the F-4D and F-4E. His awards include 21 Air Medals, 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses, and the Silver Star. Here is what Col. Handley wrote in response to Panetta and Dempsey's claims there was no time to send help to Benghazi - Betrayal in Benghazi Phil "Hands" Handley Colonel, USAF (Ret.) The combat code of the US Military is that we don't abandon our dead or wounded on the battlefield. In US Air Force lingo, fighter pilots don't run off and leave their wingmen. If one of our own is shot down, still alive and not yet in enemy captivity, we will either come to get him or die trying. Among America 's fighting forces, the calm, sure knowledge that such an irrevocable bond exis . ...
Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan (AFNS) -- Staff Sgt. Michael Stevenson received a rare phone call Dec. 25, as he answered the phone and found out President Barack Obama was on the other end. Stevenson, who is deployed with the 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron here, was selected by the Air Force leaders and the White House to receive one of the annual calls the president makes to deployed service members on Christmas Day. "To be honest, I was definitely surprised," Stevenson said. "Something like this doesn't happen to everyone and it's a once in a lifetime deal." Stevenson said the president personally thanked him and his family for their sacrifices. "(The president) asked me to forward his blessings to my fellow Airmen at the 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron," he said. "He also said that my wife is in his prayers, as she has been fighting breast cancer for three years." Stevenson knew the phone call wasn't a joke after he received a few test calls from the White House. "Aft ...
The Cult of the Uniform By Laurence M. Vance December 26, 2013 "Information Clearing House - There are a number of distinctly American symbols that evoke feelings of pride, nationalism, and patriotism. There is the Constitution. There are monuments like Mount Rushmore, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial. There are structures like the Statue of Liberty and the Liberty Bell. There are buildings like the White House and the Capitol. There are also things that there are many of: American flags, bald eagles, dollar bills, and images of Uncle Sam and the Great Seal of the United States. In the last ten or so years, these symbols have all been superceded by one image that is so powerful and so overwhelming that it drives some Americans to tears and causes others to act in the most nonsensical and irrational of ways. I am referring to a military uniform. Not just any military uniform, of course, but one of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines. And especially a ...
THE POLITICAL SCENESTATE OF DECEPTIONWhy won’t the President rein in the intelligence community?BYRYAN LIZZADECEMBER 16, 2013 A senator campaigning for reform says that the intelligence leadership drives “how decisions get made at the White House.” Illustration by the Heads of State. On March 12, 2013, James R. Clapper appeared before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence to discuss the threats facing America. Clapper, who is seventy-two, is a retired Air Force general and Barack Obama’s director of National Intelligence, in charge of overseeing the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, and fourteen other U.S. spy agencies. Clapper is bald, with a gray goatee and rimless spectacles, and his affect is intimidatingly bureaucratic. The fifteen-member Intelligence Committee was created in the nineteen-seventies, after a series of investigations revealed that the N.S.A. and the C.I.A. had, for years, been illegally spying on Americans. The panel’s mission is to conduct “v ...
Fifty years ago on Friday I was a freshman in college at the University of Hawaii. I came out of a 9am-10am class and noticed as I was walking to my next class that students weren't wandering around as usual but were clustered in groups, talking in low voices. When I stepped into the student center for a quick snack, I asked the clerk what was the problem. That's when she said the President had just been shot in Dallas. My father was in the Air Force at the time. He told me later that all leaves were cancelled and every single officer and airman was placed on emergency standby, Defcon Two. This status lasted until after the new President Johnson was sworn into office and in residence in the White House. One conclusion I have drawn: Lee Harvey Oswald was either an extraordinarily superb shot with his $13 off-the-rack rifle, or there was another shooter. I tend toward the latter, which opens an entirely new question: who was behind the assassination?

THE PTECH CUTOUT Ptech, a mysterious software company has been tied with the events of 9/11. The Quincy, Massachusetts-based company was supposedly connected to "the Muslim Brotherhood" and Arab financiers of terrorism. The firm's suspected links with terrorism resulted in a consensual examination by the FBI in December 2002, which was immediately leaked to the media. The media reports of the FBI "raid" on Ptech soon led to the demise of the company. Ptech "produced software that derived from PROMIS, had an artificial intelligence core, and was installed on virtually every computer system of the U.S. government and its military agencies on September 11, 2001," according to Michael Ruppert's From the Wilderness (FTW) website. "This included the White House, Treasury Dept. (Secret Service), Air Force, FAA, CIA, FBI, both houses of Congress, Navy, Dept. of Energy, IRS, Booz Allen Hamilton, IBM, Enron and more," FTW reported. "Whoever plotted 9/11 definitely viewed the FAA as the enemy that morning. Overridin ...

Instead of the recent US - China summit in California and the taxpayer footing the bill, online meetings made easy with GoToMeeting--free for 30 days or Skyarp on the computers. "The price tag on presidential travel is exorbitant. Air Force One costs $181,757 per flight hour to operate, according to the Air Force. There's a C-17 military support plane to fly the president's limousines to his destination, perhaps another if Marine One will be used during the trip. And the personnel: the salary costs of a Secret Service detail and dozens of White House staffers who also required meals, transportation and hotel rooms. There are also local security costs like overtime pay for police officers who escort the presidential motorcade or provide security along the travel route." The state police get a $100,000 SALRY AND BENIES GALORE for 20 years of work. And the vehicle they cruise around in is approximately $70,000 also on the taxpayer, many who take home. The state legislatures--FOR A PART-TIME JOB--receive ...
BUDGET/SEQUESTRATION AIR FORCE NUKE COMMAND COULD FURLOUGH 2,900 CIVILIANS UNDER SEQUESTER Feb. 25, 2013 By Chris Schneidmiller Global Security Newswire WASHINGTON – The U.S. Air Force branch that manages the nation’s nuclear bombers and ICBMs will be forced to furlough about 2,900 civilian staffers if large federal budget reductions take hold on Friday. Congressional Republicans and the White House remain at loggerheads over options for avoiding $85 billion in across-the-board spending curbs for the remainder of this budget year. All branches of the armed forces and Defense Department would be required to limit civilian workers to an average of four days of paid work per week for nearly six months starting on April 25 if the so-called “sequester” remains in place, according to an Air Force press release issued on Friday. “Furloughs, like other spending cuts, degrade our mission readiness by delaying or deferring important work. This includes fixing our aircraft and vehicles, staffing our hospit ...

Today in History: February 13 1960: France tests its first atomic bomb in the Sahara Desert. This is an infamous day in history, because although the French government assured the public that their nuclear tests would be done as safely as possible, this part of the Sahara desert in Algeria was negatively affected. Species of reptiles and birds were wiped out and, because of the effects of radiation, biodiversity declined as well as many livestock died. This bomb was about four times as powerful as the Hiroshima bomb. 1965: President Lyndon B. Johnson approves Operation Rolling Thunder. This was a sustained air attack using both U.S. Air Force and Vietnam Air Force (VNAM) planes against the enemy North Vietnamese. This operation was heavily monitored by the White House and specific locations like the Xom Bang ammunition dump were selected as targets. Between 1965 and 1968 over 600,000 bombs were dropped and about 900 U.S. aircraft were lost. Under heavy domestic political pressure, President Lyndon Johnson ...

By Fanuel Nsingo As the US President Barack Obama conversed with South African President Jacob Zuma over the phone, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton paced the White House floor to and fro. She overhead Obama say, “Are you telling me Zimbabwe’s on fire?” Mugabe getting off Air Zimbabwe plane At least three minutes passed without a further word from Obama, and finally, he thanked Zuma and replaced the phone. The whole world was brought to a standstill as rebels were fighting the Zimbabwe National Army and its defence forces. Mugabe had already fled to China in an Air Force jet and the news reported that China was preparing to boost the ill-equipped Zimbabwean army to fend off the rebels. The British Press Secretary was having a hard time trying to explain to the media that Britain wasn’t behind the revolt. Zambia’s president had already fled to an unknown destination after rumours circulated that former Zimbabwean commercial farmers who had lost their farms due to Mugabe’s land grabs and late ...
Thanks for posting, Jim Jim Litton Only three times." For those Too Young too remember or who have not studied it in history, there is The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France memorializing the fallen US soldiers of the D-Day Invasion to retake Europe from the Nazis. It is filled with large white crosses and Star of David grave markers: There is also a D-Day Monument in Bedford , VA ... a relatively short 200 mile helicopter ride from the White House: In all the years since D-Day 1945, there are only three occasions when the sitting President of the United States of America failed to go to the D-Day Monument that honors the soldiers killed during the Invasion. Only Three Times... The occasions were: 1. Barack Obama 2010 2. Barack Obama 2011 3. Barack Obama 2012 For the past 68 years, every single president, except Obama, has paid tribute to the fallen American soldiers killed on D-Day. This year, instead of honoring the soldiers, he made a 3,000 mile campaign trip on Air Force 1 to California ...
Dropped Nancy off for a workshop in DC. For the first time since we moved Via Bella to Maryland in March, we were in the capital. After dropping Nancy off, I drove down to the mall to cross the Potomac in serve for a Falls Church Trader Joe's. Coming down 16th, the White House and the Washington Monument were right in front. Then the mall, the Lincoln Memorial, and Arlington. For all the criticism of "Washington," I must say that I get goosebumps when in the capital. As some of my friends know, I served at Camp David for two years while in the Air Force. It was the Nixon years right before the Watergate hearings began in the summer of 1973. During those two years, I developed the strongest respect for the Presidency even if I did not support the current president. And for all of Nixon's failings, he also should be credited with his successes. No President has got it all right and every President, at least in the modern era, has some incredible successes. Whether we are looking at Obama or Bush (both I and ...
Hold It...I don't agree with Milbrink of the Washington Post, who's only point is to be a Monday morning quarterback. First President Obama well knows he's president and not a king. Now everyone wants to get on the band wagon and just pile on...If anyone realizes what happened, it's Barack Obama. John Sinnunu called the President too lazy to prepare to prepare for the debates. Andrea Mitchell in her interview rebuked John Sununu asking "are you saying the President is lazy?" Both Mr. Sununu and Romney don't have Obama's responsibility as President of the United States. Everyone wants to make an issue that the President didn't arrive in Colorado until two hours before the debates, well so what! The President has affairs of state, the country and being commander and chief overseeing a war. And where is a written that a sitting President has to prepare anywhere - wasn't Air Force One good enough or the White House or wherever? I'm not making excuses for President Obama, but everyone needs to gain some persp ...
At our meeting this morning with the senior White House environmental advisor, I briefed her on the recent request of the Governor's office to release 150 acres from Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to Spaceport Florida. I told her we love the Space Program but we also love our environmental jewels and the White House needs get with NASA, Air Force, and Interior to find an appropriate place within the Kennedy Space Center for commercial launches and not in our National Wildlife Refuge. She said she would look into it!
Last evening Becky and I were fortunate enough to attend a special speaking event at NIACC by a 4-star General. For those that aren't aware, that is the highest rank any military person can get. General Richard Myers was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from October 2001 - October 2005. He was the acting Chairman just 4 weeks when the attacks on America by Al Queda happened on 9/11/01. He's a midwest born and raised boy who joined the Air Force with intentions of just putting in the minimum 4 years. The military life intrigued him and he furthered his desire to serve his country. While serving side by side with President Bush during the attacks of 9/11, General Myers told us a personal story about the ethics of President Bush. He said while in the underground bunkers of the White House (which haven't been used since WWII) President Bush made the comment that we need to do whatever it takes to find and dispose of the people responsible for these attacks, even if it makes this a one term administration ...

I just read this article by a retired Air Force officer and I thought I would share. By Curt Dale So, we have a big September Surprise, and it is that BH Obama is even more cowardly, spineless, inept and disconnected with reality than even the most critical of us ever thought. A bunch of Islamic Terrorists, in an act of war, killed Ambassador Chris Steven, his bodyguard, ex US Navy Seal Glen Doherty, and two other diplomats in Benghazi, Libya, Almost simultaneously, an Islamic Terrorist attack our US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, essentially destroyed it, another act of war. Coordinated? Who cares? (Well the White House wants to deal with minutia and prove it was not coordinated or preplanned. But I don’t care. Both were acts of war against the United States.) It’s Muslim Jihad, plain and simple. The US Flag was torn down, desecrated, and replaced with a form of the Taliban/Al Qaeda flag. Both of these terrorist groups who attacked us are the very terrorists Obama, by leading from the rear with complicity, ...
Since Obama's rarely doing his job in the White House it is a pretty safe bet you can find him either: on the golf course, shooting hoops on a local court, playing poker on Air Force 1, fund-raising in Hollywood, singing Al Green tunes with Jay-Z and Beyonce, or appearing on Letterman. Just don't look for him in the Oval Office, on the battlefield, or anywhere near where the real action is.
It is October 14th, and the sun is reflecting mirages of water on an Air Force Base runway in southern Florida. The silence of the scene is interrupted as a long-winged plane touches down on the runway and taxies to the hanger. A thousand planes a day go through this same routine, but this one plane’s payload is different from all the others. Its payload is just a few rolls of film, but the information on that film will shape the events of the world. It will shift the balance of power in the world. The film is transported to a top-secret laboratory and developed. It is sent to the Pentagon and then to the Oval Office in the White House. The date is 1962, and a young president, John F. Kennedy, just 44 years old, sits at the desk. The decision he makes moves the armies of the most powerful nation in the world. The crisis he faces is one of immense proportions. The photos taken were from a U2 reconnaissance aircraft. One picture in particular revealed that the Soviets had placed medium-range missile silos ...
Think I am keeping Barnes and Noble in business. Bought "No Easy Day" written by the Navy Seal, then "The Amateur" Barack Obama in the White House,by Edward Klein, and "The Secret History of the CIA. Oh, and Honto II written by a friend retired Air Force. So far, so good, but I keep falling asleep when reading. Wish I had them last week when I was so sick. This will be my weekend.
Last year (2011) Obama flew in Air Force One 172 times, almost every other day. White House officials have been telling reporters in recent days that the Democrat doesn't intend to hang around the White House quite so much in 2012.They explain he wants to get out more around the country because, as everyone knows, that midterm election shellacking had nothing to do with his health care bill, over-spending or other policies, and everything to do with Obama's not adequately explaining himself to his countrymen and women. And with only 288 days remaining in Obama's never ending presidential campaign, the incumbent's travel pace will not likely slacken. At an Air Force-estimated cost of $181,757 per flight HOUR (not to mention the additional travel costs of Marine One, Secret Service, logistics and local police overtime), that's a lot of frequent flier dollars going into Obama's carbon footprint. $8 Million every time it lands & takes off.
Under a temperature of 93 F in DC today, I got a tour in the Capitol building, The Library of Congress dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, The National Meseum of African Art where is exposed a statue of the genius of my race, Toussaint Louverture, National Meseum of the Amrican Indian and Smithsonian National Air and Space Mesuem (watched Air Force racers 3D). I saw of course the Washington Monument and the White House.
Rebecca Buchanan An American company, Hawker Beechcraft, worked closely with the Air Force for 2 years and invested more than $100 million preparing to meet the military contract requirements. In 2011, Obama awarded the contract to a Brazilian competitor with NO explanation given. Normally, the American government awards contracts, especially in the Defense Industry to Ameriican companies. As a result, Hawker Beechcraft will have layoffs and worse yet, it will make part of our national defense dependent on a Brazilian contractor! Call the White House and ask Obama why an American President would do this? (202) 456-1.

New World Order, The ancient plan of secret societies Part 1 sect 1 The Nixon Coup, 1973, October On about the middle of October 1973 there was a memorandum floating around by Lt. Col. William L. Still, a retired Air Force officer and on October 1973 the 3rd, he was appointed to a man Joe Josephson who had claimed connections to the White House of President Richard M Nixon. The atmosphere in Washington was thick with political wonder and fascination, the CIA stood accused of spying at home and the Coup d' e'tat of Chile. The Watergate hearings had gond on all summer long and now President Nixon was refused to comply with court orders and surrender the White House Tapes as evidence, the American Civil Liberties Union took out a full page ad in the New York Times wanting impeachment of President Nixon. There was a memorandum that cirulated in the millitary intellegence and FBI channels, it spoke on the subject of Rumor concerning plans for a Military Coup in the USA, in which William L Stills introduces h ...
Woman Dies After Serving Obama A restaurant owner who served US President Barack Obama breakfast on a campaign stop has died hours later. Josephine Harris, 70, who owned Ann's Place in Akron, Ohio, was taken to hospital after complaining of fatigue and a tingling feeling. She went into cardiac arrest en route and was pronounced dead shortly after 11:00 EST (15:00 GMT). Mr Obama arrived the restaurant at about 08:30, ordering two eggs "over easy", bacon and wheat toast. The Summit County medical examiner's office said Josephine Harris had died of natural causes and there would be no autopsy. In a statement, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Mr Obama called her daughter from Air Force One to express "his sorrow and his condolences". "He was honoured to meet [Ms Harris] this morning and passed on his feeling that the whole family is in his thoughts and prayers," Mr Carney said. The Akron Beacon Journal reported that Ms Harris had hugged Mr Obama when she met him at the restaurant. "I'm sure this wa ...

The U.S. ambassador to Kenya Scott Gration said Friday, June 29, 2012 that he is leaving his post over differences with Washington on his leadership style, adding that he resigned Monday, June 25, 2012, effective Saturday, July 28, 2012. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci, File) NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — President Barack Obama’s ambassador to Kenya announced his resignation on Friday, citing differences with Washington over his leadership style. A former two-star Air Force general, Ambassador Scott Gration appears to have been forced by Washington to step down because of what Gration said were differences in priorities. The U.S. Embassy statement announcing Gration’s departure laid bare the disagreements the former military leader had with his civilian bosses at the State Department and other U.S. agencies. Gration — who spent ...
THIS IS AN OLDIE AND A REPEAT.but still good to enjoy.. Filipinos are certainly getting into mainstream America and into the world. With an estimated 4 million Filipino-American population (as of 2007), Filipinos are an emerging group in a diverse society in the United States . Filipino talents like Manny Pacquiao, Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda, Lea Salonga, and Monique Lhuiller are doing a great job pitching in! David Letterman, apparently used Filipino-Americans in one of his skits. Here’s the recap Top 10 Reasons Why There Couldn’t Be a Filipino-American US President By David Letterman 10. The White House is not big enough for in-laws and extended relatives. 9. There are not enough parking spaces at the White House for 2 Honda Civics, 2 Toyota Land Cruisers, 3 Toyota Corollas, a Mercedes Benz, a BMW , and an MPV (My Pinoy Van). 8. Dignitaries generally are intimidated by eating with their fingers at State dinners. 7. There are too many dining rooms in the White House – where will they put the p ...
Old joke, but it made me laugh again. Pres. Obama is visiting the Queen of England. He is impressed by how well everything runs and asks the Queen how she does it. She says that she just hires people with good common sense. Obama asks her how she knows this. The Queen says, 'Just a minute and I will show you.' Tony Blair is on the grounds, so the Queen calls him in. She says, 'Tony, I have a riddle for you. Your mother and your father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?' Tony Blair, without missing a beat, says, 'It is me.' Flying home on Air Force One, Obama gets thinking that Joe Biden is probably not very smart, and he wonders what Joe will say if he asks him the riddle. As soon as Obama gets back to the White House, he calls Joe in and asks him the riddle. Joe says, 'Gee, I don't know right off hand, but I will find out for you.' Joe asks his staff and they don't know either. Then, while out to lunch, Joe runs into Sarah Palin. He says, 'Sarah, can I ...

In the 1994 chart topper “Wanted Dead Or Alive,” Jon Bon Jovi boasted of riding on a steel horse. His mode of transportation has changed. On Monday, the rocker flew to New York on Air Force One. A White House official said that Bon Jovi was a “guest of the President.”
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi got a lift Monday to New York on Air Force One with President Obama. The Bon Jovi frontman was spotted by reporters rounding a corner at JFK airport in New York City. After he was spotted, the White House acknowledged that he joined the president on the flight. A White House offi...
I thought of booking a round the world trip as part of my retirement adventures but shall FORCE myself to restrain. The next time airfare seems too expensive, consider the cost of Air Force One. The plane that is used to carry the president, which is typically a Boeing 747, costs the Air Force $179,750 per hour to operate, according to a new Congressional Research Service report. Military planes are used for security and because of special equipment on board. Costs for each trip are even higher when factoring in the passenger and cargo aircraft that often accompany the president's plane, although those figures weren't specified in the eight-page report. Taxpayers cover the cost of trips for official business, and campaign organizations reimburse the government for whatever portion of a trip is deemed political. "It is unclear how the White House designates travel that is not directly related to a governmental or political function because of traditional reluctance to address this matter," the report said, ...
I can see why those of us who pay attention to politics eventually get frustrated and resort to name calling. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida called President Barack Obama the "most divisive president in modern American history." When reported, the claim just hangs out there. No one in the "liberal mainstream media" brings up the president having cocktail parties for both political parties, the time when he went to the Republican Congress members for an on air q&a, the times the Republican leadership refused his invitations to the White House, the Republican speaker of the House refusing to take the president's calls or his refusal to ride in Air Force 1 after the Arizona shooting, or the Minority Leader of the house naming, "our top political priority is to make Barack Obama a one term president," or the new 60 vote rule where Republicans use a threat to filibuster more than most other years of the Senate combined, the accusations of death panels in an American President's proposed health care plan or the ...
Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing China for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary from her husband's salary. Total Personal Staff members for other first ladies paid by taxpayers: Mamie Eisenhower: One-- paid for personally out of President's salary. Jackie Kennedy: One Rosaline Carter: One Barbara Bush: One Hilary Clinton: Three Laura Bush: One Michele Obama: Twenty-two How things have changed! If you're one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU, John Q. Public: Michele Obama's personal staff: One.. $172,200 - Sher, Susan (Chief Of Staff) Two.. $14 ...
1965 - 1st large-scale US Army ground units arrived in South Vietnam. 1968 - U.S. Air Force planes hit Nhi Ha, South Vietnam in support of attacking infantrymen. 1970 - In Cambodia, a U.S. force captures Snoul, 20 miles from the tip of the "Fishhook" area (across the border from South Vietnam, 70 miles from Saigon). A squadron of nearly 100 tanks from the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and jet planes virtually leveled the village that had been held by the North Vietnamese. No dead North Vietnamese soldiers were found, only the bodies of four Cambodian civilians. This action was part of the Cambodian "incursion" that had been launched by U.S. and South Vietnamese forces on April 29. In Washington, President Nixon met with congressional committees at the White House and gave the legislators a "firm commitment" that U.S. troops would be withdrawn from Cambodia in three to seven weeks. Nixon also pledged that he would not order U.S. troops to penetrate deeper than 21 miles into Cambodia without first seeking c ...
