FLYERS SIGN THREE TO CONTRACTS The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have signed defensemen Cullen Eddy and Danny Syvret and forward Mike Testwuide to contracts, according to General Manager Paul Holmgren. Eddy, 23 (11/18/88), signs with the Flyers after playing the last two seasons under an American Hockey League contract with the Flyers’ AHL affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms. The 6-0, 195-lb native of Hidden Valley, PA split both seasons between the Phantoms and their ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors. In 54 games with the Phantoms last season, Eddy recorded two goals and 13 assists for 15 points along with 130 PIM. He has appeared in 101 games for the Phantoms over the last two seasons, scoring five goals and adding 20 assists for 25 points. Eddy was also named the team's winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year Award for his outstanding contributions to the Glens Falls community during the 2011-12 season.
