Several religious leaders in Saudi Arabia have slammed those who killed 149 people in an attack on a Pakistan school. They include Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh, Grand Mosque imam and khateeb Sheikh Saleh Abu Talib, and Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, president of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs.“What crime did these children in Pakistan, or the children in Syria, Iraq and other places, commit to be moved down in broad daylight or driven out to starve and live in fear and cold. Islam does not justify such heinous crimes,” Abu Talib said during his Friday sermon. He said Islam upholds the sanctity of human life, while most of these “deviant” groups show they have no scruples by killing innocent people.“How can these people kill innocent Muslim children in the name of Islam when Islam does not allow anyone to harm children, even those who fight against the religion. ”Abu Talib said the members of these groups mistakenly believe that they are defenders of Islam, while the reality is that the ...

THE SEALED NECTAR: BIOGRAPHY OF Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 28 BAHIRA, THE MONK: When the Messenger of Allâh (Peace be upon him) was twelve years old, he went with his uncle Abu Talib on a business journey to Syria. When they reached Busra (which was a part of Syria, in the vicinity of Howran under the Roman domain) they met a monk called Bahira (his real name was Georges), who showed great kindness, and entertained them lavishly. He had never been in the habit of receiving or entertaining them before. He readily enough recognized the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and said while taking his hand: “This is the master of all humans. Allâh will send him with a Message which will be a mercy to all beings.” Abu Talib asked: “How do you know that?” He replied: “When you appeared from the direction of ‘Aqabah, all stones and trees prostrated themselves, which they never do except for a Prophet. I can recognize him also by the seal of Prophethood which is below his shoulder, like an apple. We have got to l ...
The Story of Salah The History or story of Salah, the prayers in islam, is indeed very beautiful. To understand the value of Salah it is very important to study the background of it, and once you are familiar with the background inshallah you will appreciate the Salah more than you did before. As you may or may not know, the order of Salah was given to our beloved (saw) on the night of Isra wal Mi'raj. A special trip for Muhammad (saw) from Makkah to Al Aqsa then to the heavens in the company of Jibraeel. But before this trip, a number of incidents took place which made the prophet (saw) very very upset. To the extent that that year was called the 'Year of Grief'. Khadijah (ra) the first wife of the prophet (saw) passed away, Abu Talib, the physical shield of the prophet against the Mushrikoon, passed away. The people of Taaif stoned the prophet (saw) till his slippers were filled with blood. All of the above incidents had a major impact on the feelings of our prophet (saw) so as a result Allah (swt) want ...

Sayyiduna 'Ali the Qadi: The Chief Judge of Madinah. I think now is a good time to note that Sayyiduna 'Ali was not only a master of the Quran, he was the chief judge (Qadi) among the Sahaba, with all of them acknowledging his mastery over them within this Science as well. He was a master who knew the difference between knowledge and wisdom and this can be seen be in the many examples where Sayyiduna 'Ali answers and then gives rulings to difficult Fiqh questions nobody else would ever dare answer. He also explained the answers in a simple enough way that the common, every day person could understand. 1) Sayyiduna 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib said, “Shall I not tell you who the real Faqih is? He is one who does not make people despair of Allah’s mercy, yet he does not give them concessions to disobey Allah. He does not make them feel safe from Allah’s plan and he does not leave the Quran. There is no good in worship that involves no efforts to gain Fiqh, and there is no good in seeking Fiqh without seeking a ...
The Aims and Objectives of Imam Hussain's Stand What was the course of Imam Hussain's (A) revolution? What reasons prompted him to initiate such a great and unmatched upspring? Did he intended to overthrow the Yazid regime? Did he wish to end the Umayyid dynasty? These and such other questions keep cropping in the mind and everyone wants to know the satisfactory replies, specially the mourner of Imam Hussain (A) are more eager in this regard. When Imam Hussain (A) was preparing to leave on his longest journey, he bid adieu to the grave of his grandfather, the Holy Prophet (S.AW). Then he wrote a legacy addressing his brother Mohammed Bin Hanafiyyah in which he explained the aims and objectives of his uprising. We are quoting an extract from the same legacy hereunder. He wrote thus: "And surely the aim of my stand is not inspired by vain exultation and it is also not for the quest of kingdom, Neither it is to cause dissension and corruption nor it is to wrong anybody unjustly."These sentences of Imam Hussa ...
Afternoon Reminder. Saturday. We continue with the Life of the first leader of Islam after the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, Abu Bakr AS-SIDIQ (R.A). He was active in the call of people to Islam, and the people who accepted his call to Islam included Uthman bin Affan RA, who would later be the third of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. His conversion to Islam had an immediate repercussion on his flourishing business, which suffered a great deal. Yet, he still spent a great part of his wealth to alleviate the sufferings of the Muslims in distress, including the liberation of many slaves who had accepted Islam. The most famous of these was of course Bilal R.A, whose freedom Abu Bakr purchased while Bilal was being severely tortured by the non-believers for refusing to renounce his monotheism. Despite his status in society, Abu Bakr was not spared the boycott, abuse, persecution and torture inflicted upon many of the Muslims in the early days of the revelation. More than once, he interposed himself ...

Hazrat Ali -The Father of Sufism BIRTH Hazrat Ali alayhis ‘salam was born around 600 A.D, in Makka. Ali alayhis ‘salam was born under unusual circumstances. On the thirteenth of the holy month of “Rajab”, Fatima Rahmatullahi ‘alayh, the mother of Ali alayhis ‘salam, visited the Ka’ba for performing the pilgrimage. During the course of the pilgrimage while circumambulating the Ka’ba, Fatima felt the pangs of childbirth. She retired to a secluded place in the precincts of the Holy Ka’ba, and there Ali alayhis ‘salamwas born. Ali alayhis ‘salam had thus the unique honor of being born in the House of God. This unparalleled honor has endowed Ali with a halo of sanctity, which has become the subject of many legends. Name Fatima Rahmatullahi ‘alayh wanted to name the child “Asad” after the name of her father. Abu Talib wanted to name him Zaid. When the mother and the child came home, the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Salla ...

History of Islam The Prophet of Islam In or about the year 570 the child who would be named Muhammad and who would become the Prophet of one of the world's great religions, Islam, was born into a family belonging to a clan of Quraish, the ruling tribe of Mecca, a city in the Hijaz region of northwestern Arabia. Originally the site of the Kaabah, a shrine of ancient origins, Mecca had, with the decline of southern Arabia, become an important center of sixth-century trade with such powers as the Sassanians, Byzantines, and Ethiopians. As a result, the city was dominated by powerful merchant families, among whom the men of Quraish were preeminent. Muhammad's father, "Abd Allah ibn" Abd al-Muttalib, died before the boy was born; his mother, Aminah, died when he was six. The orphan was consigned to the care of his grandfather, the head of the clan of Hashim. After the death of his grandfather, Muhammad was raised by his uncle, Abu Talib. As was customary, the child Muhammad was sent to live for a year or two w ...
When you will ask a Shi'a Imam, they will tell you that the very basis & foundation of Shi'a Madhab is the Intelligence of highest order. And such is the example of that lofty intelligence that one would come across in the "most reliable & authentic" of Shi'a Hadith treatises Al Ka'afi: Source: Kitab Al Kaafi by Imam Kulayni Reference: Volume 1/8, Chapter 111 (Chapters on History) Hadith # 27 (Note: References may vary depending upon Publication) Published by The Islamic Seminary INCNY Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Sa‘d ibn ‘Abdallah from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Thaqafi from Ali Ibn Mu‘alla from his brother, Muhammad from Durust ibn abu Mansur from Ali Ibn abu Hamza from abu Basir from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. "When the Holy Prophet (s.a) was born he remained for days without milk. Abu Talib himself breast fed him and Allah sent milk through his nipples. It continued for several days until abu Talib found Halima al-Sa‘diya and the child was given to her"
Why prophet mohammad had sex with a dead woman? My reference - Hadith 34424 Kanezel omall - This is from a book called "Kanz Al Umal" (The Treasure of the Workers), in the chapter of "The issues of women", authored by Ali Ibn Husam Aldin, commonly known as Al-Mutaki Al-Hindi. He based his book on the hadiths and sayings listed in "Al-Jami Al-Saghir," written by Jalal ul-Din Al-Suyuti. Narrated by Ibn Abbas: "I (Muhammad) put on her my shirt that she may wear the clothes of heaven, and I SLEPT with her in her coffin (grave) that I may lessen the pressure of the grave. She was the best of Allah’s creatures to me after Abu Talib"… The prophet was referring to Fatima , the mother of Ali. The Arabic scholar Demetrius explains : "The Arabic word used here for "slept" is "Id'tajat," and literally means "lay down" with her. It is often used to mean, "lay down to have sex." Muhammad is understood as saying that because he slept with her she has become like a wife to him so she will be considered like a "mother ...

The judge turned to Imam Ali (as), demanding that he should present his evidence proving that the armor was his. Imam Ali (as) smiled and said that he had no evidence. So, the judge issued his decision that the armor belonged to the Christian man. Amir al Momineen, Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib (as) then cheerfully accepted the decision of the court against him. The effect of upholding the prestige of the Court of Justice, and his adherence to the principles of equality and equity were so impressive that the person, against whom he had filed the case, and had lost it, ran after him, kissed the hem of his garment, and said, "My master! Abu Jahl and `Abdullah bin Umaiya said, "O Abu Talib! Will you leave the religion of `Abdul Muttalib?" So they kept on saying this to him so that the last statement he said to them (before he died) was: "I am on the religion of `Abdul Muttalib." Then the Prophet said, " I will keep on asking for Allah's Forgiveness for you unless I am forbidden to do so." Narrated 'Abdullah bin Abbas: Ali bin Abu Talib came out of the house of Allah's Apostle during his fatal illness. The people asked, "O Abu Hasan (i.e. Ali)! How is the health of Allah's Apostle this morning?" 'Ali replied, "He has recovered with the Grace of Allah." 'Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib held him by the hand and said to him, "In three days you, by Allah, will be ruled (by somebody else ), And by Allah, I feel that Allah's Apostle will die from this ailment of his, for I know how the faces of the offspring of 'Abdul Muttalib look at the time of their death. So let us go to Allah's Apostle and ask him who will take over the Caliphate. If it is given to us we will know as to it, and if it is given to somebody else, we will inform him so that he may tell the new ruler to take care of us." 'Ali said, "By Allah, if we asked Allah's Apostle for it (i.e. the Caliphate) and he denied it us, the people will never give it to us after that. And by Allah, I will not ask Allah's Apostle for it." [Bukhari 5.59.728 ...

I don't know why people keep on asking to whom the vote should be ?? Listen the logic is simple.. Candidates are as follows : 1. Abu Jahl 2. Abu Lahab 3. Abu Talib.. I know you will vote the less evil one.. By Default Abu Talib will win.. Right ?? Reason you will quote as He is the less evil one or some will saw Abu Jahl is most evil and doesn't deserve the post or some will say Abu Lahab is not a good person.. Whatsoever LEADER should have two things.. Kavi nd Amin.. Now Kavi means trustworthy and Amin means honesty.. Aj k waqt tho no leader pose that.. This is out of context.. People who are saying we should vote the less evil one.. Now how can you trust ki when he gets the position he will not change and became the most tyrant and most evil of all. We want the leader who is ALLAH-Fear.. Who will rule according to ALLAH's rule.. Who will be the servant of people..

Muhammad's Visit to Ta'if More than ten years had passed since Muhammad, may God bless him and his Ahlul-Bait, had first begun to preach Islam. His success in these ten years had been rather modest, limited as it was to the conversion of fewer than 170 men and women in Makkah. But after the death of his wife, Khadija, and his uncle, Abu Talib, it appeared that the Quraysh would wrest even that limited success from his hands. Makkah had proved inhospitable to Islam and it occurred to the Prophet that he ought, perhaps to try to preach the new faith in some other city. The nearest city was Ta’if, 70 miles in the south-east of Makkah, and he went there in late 619. Zayd bin Haritha went with him. In Ta’if, Muhammad, the Messenger of God, called on the three chiefs of the local tribes, and invited them to abandon their gross idolatry, to acknowledge the Oneness of God, to repudiate man-made distinctions of high and low, and to believe in the equality and brotherhood of all men. The chiefs of Ta’if were ...

For three years Muhammad invited people to Islam in secret, then he started inviting publicly. When, according to the Quran, he was commanded to invite his closer relatives to come to Islam he gathered the Banu Hashim clan in a ceremony. According to al-Tabari, Ibn Athir and Abu al-Fida, Muhammad announced at invitational events that whoever assisted him in his invitation would become his brother, trustee and successor. Only Ali, who was thirteen or fourteen years old, stepped forward to help him. This invitation was repeated three times, but Ali was the only person who answered Muhammad. Upon Ali's constant and only answer to his call, Muhammad declared that Ali was his brother, inheritor and vice-regent and people must obey him. Most of the adults present were uncles of Ali and Muhammad, and Abu Lahab laughed at them and declared to Abu Talib that he must bow down to his own son, as Ali was now his Emir This event is known as the Hadith of Warning. HOW THE SUFISM CAME FROM SAHABAS. (r.a). Bismillah, alhamdulillah wa salat wa salam ala rasulullah. I have learned one thing about Sufism, it’s about experience and it has to be something transmitted from person to person- not from book to reader. I found this lengthy passage I found in Abu Talib al-Makki’s “Qutb al-Qulub”. This book is full of many Hadith, so I know the author understood the relevance and importance of Hadith in Islam. It’s a description of Hasan al-Basri that illustrates how the wisdom of Sufism comes from the Sahabas. Hasan is our Imam in his knowledge of which we are speaking. We pursue his footsteps, follow his path, and seek illumination from his niche. It is by God’s leave that we have traced this teaching from imam to imam all the way back to Hasa. He was among the best of the Followers (Tabieen? or Taba Tabieen?) in spirituality, so that people said, “He kept the wisdom within for a full 40 years before he ever spoke about it.” He had met 70 companions from the Ba ...

STEADFASTNESS IN THE FACE OF HARDSHIPS The Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) Journey to Taif For nine years, since his selection by Allah for His mission, the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) had been delivering the message of Allah in Makkah and making all-out efforts to guide and reform his community. Excepting a few persons who had either embraced Islam or who helped him though not accepting his creed, all the rest in Mecca left no stone unturned in persecuting and deriding him and his followers. His uncle Abu Talib was one of those good-hearted people who helped him, in spite of his not entering into the fold of Islam. The following year, on the death of Abu Talib, the Qu-reysh got a free hand and therefore accelerated their sinister pursuits without check and hindrance. At Taif, the second biggest town of Hijaz, there lived Banu Thaqif, a clan strong in number. The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) left for Taif with the hope of winning them over to Islam, thus giving quarter to Muslims f ...

The rule of the third Caliph, Uthman ibn Affan, concluded with a violent uprising. This uprising ended with the assassination of Uthman and for many days rebels seized and occupied the city of Medina. Under the overwhelming pressure of the Ummah, Ali (Ali Ibn Abu Talib) was elected as the fourth caliph with massive numbers of people swearing their allegiance to him. His immediate steps were to ensure the unity of Muslims. He issued the orders of not attacking the rebels until order was restored. The governor of Syria, Muawiyah, kinsman to the murdered caliph Uthman, refused allegiance to Ali and revolted against him, using his cousin's unpunished murder as a pretext. This resulted in armed confrontations between the Islamic Caliph Ali Ibn Abu Talib and Muawiyah. Practically, the Muslim world became divided. At the death of Ali Ibn Abu Talib, his elder son Hasan ibn Ali succeeded him but soon signed a treaty with Muawiyah to avoid further bloodshed. One of Muawiyah's most controversial and enduring leg ...

Para sa mga MUKLO nang MINDANAO... ALAM BA NINYO NA. WHY muhamMAD UNCLE ABU TALIB NEVER EVER CONVERT TO ISLAM??? It is very interesting to know why his uncle remained as pagan. Take for example; our parents know what kind behavior we are. Like Abu talib , he surly know that Muhammad never be a prophet or his uncle believe this guy is making up story. If Muhammad indeed a prophet and brought true religion, surly Abu talib would convert to islam yet he did not. After Aminah's death when he was six, he was taken care of by his grandfather, `Abdul Muttalib. After `Abdul Muttalib's death when Muhammad was eight years old, his uncle, Abu Talib, became his guardian. Abu Talib used to take Muhammad on his mercantile trips to as far as Syria. At the deathbed of Abu Talib, Muhammad urged his uncle to confessed Allah, even though deathbed confession is not acceptable in Islam. Abu Talib died a pagan. See Abu Talib for more details. Besides Abu Talib, the Jews chosen by God also rejected Muhammad teachings. There i . ...

THE RIGHTS OF A MUSLIM UPON HIS BROTHER (SISTER):The prophet (saw) said:"The rights of a muslim upon the muslims are six(6) :Visiting the sick,to accepts invitations,to help the oppressed,to fulfill the oaths,to return the greetings and to reply to the one who sneezes and when he dies to follow the funeral procession."(Muslim). (1) PEACE GREETING AND RETURNING THE GRRETING: Greating is one of the ways of spreading the love between muslims and of entering Paradise. The prophet(SAW) said:"By the one in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter into Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love each other. Shall I not direct you to something tha if you do it, you will love each other? Spread the greeting of peace amongst yourselves."(Muslim). Moreover, saying"ASSALAM 'ALAYKUM""Peace be upon you" is the greating of peaple in the Paradise. Allah says:"And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till when they reach it,and its gates will be opened(before ...

The Final Phase of the Diplomacy of Negotiation The Messenger of Allâh [pbuh] left his confinement and went on preaching his Faith as usual. Quraish, likewise, repealed the boycott but went on in their atrocities and oppression on the Muslims. Abu Talib, the octogenarian notable, was still keen on shielding his nephew but by that time, and on account of the series of tremendous events and continual pains, he began to develop certain fits of weakness. No sooner had he emerged victorious from the inhuman boycott, than he was caught in a persistent illness and physical enervation. The polytheists of Makkah, seeing this serious situation and fearing that the stain of infamy that the other Arabs could attribute to them in case they took any aggressive action against the Prophet [pbuh] after he had lost his main support, Abu Talib, took a decision to negotiate with the Prophet [pbuh] once more and submit some concessions withheld previously. They then delegated some representatives to see Abu Talib and discuss ...

As salaam alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh! Today's Answer(36): a Christan monk named Bahira ABOUT THE EVENT; When Muhammad was about six years old (in 575 A.D.), he lost his mother as well; so, the doubly-orphaned child was brought up by ‘Abdul-Muttalib with the most tender care. Umm Ayman was now his governess.
